Probably one of the biggest and controversial topic you've seen this year,Mr Reno Omokri just dropped a big bombshell recently by asking a big question. He even promised to give five thousand naira to whoever gives him the answer

https://mobile.twitter.com/renoomokri/status/1278960682784915456?p=v

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4LU0R8OfzQ&feature=youtu.be

Reno Omokri is a nigerian business man and a social media influencer, the question he asked about Hushpuppi and Bola Tinubu is quite tricky and confusing but in answering that question we need to figure out who both parties are.

Hushpuppi is a young and rich nigerian man who is well known for his flamboyant and showy lifestyle on social media, he is a big fan of Gucci products. recently, he was arrested in Dubai alongside his friends for crime related issues and handed over to interpol in US for more investigations, many people believe Hushpuppi is a yahoo-boy: a yahoo-boy is anybody who goes online claiming to be what they are not in other to rob people of their hard earn money.

While Bola Tinubu is a former lagos state governor with enomous achievements. Tinubu who is rumoured to be craving to lead nigeria as a president has a lot of controversies surrounding his riches, some people said he enriched himself with money belonging to the people while some people say he is getting richer with revenue of lagos state even after leaving office. Do you remember the bullion van saga?

In one way or the other, both of them have close similarities. Both Hushpuppi and Bola Tinubu have wealth that cannot be fully traced.

However, Tinubu has not been charged for financial crimes while Hushpuppi is facing one right now.
Who is this idiot. Were u not in PDP when it spoilt Nigeria?
PoliticsRe: APC Must Zone The Presidency To South East Or Igbos Will Vote For Northern PDP by basybasy: 3:39pm On Jul 03, 2020
Whiteangel1234:
South East and by extension the Igbos have the single and biggest voting block in Nigeria we are the most united Politically in Nigeria after the North what some people called putting all eggs in one basket is what i called rare Political Unity and voting block.
South West are the most disunited and they hide this weakness under the mantras of not putting all their eggs in 1 basket .

If APC want to survive beyond 2023 it must get the Igbos And south East Support by zoning the presidency to us . If APC decide not to do zoning and allow every Nigerian to contest then we have no problem with that arrangement but if they decide to zone the Presidency to the south After Buhari then it must be strictly for the South East alone the only Zone in the south yet to produce Nigeria Presidency after 24 years of our new Democracy .

If APC give their presidential ticket to the south West then the south East and All Igbos in Nigeria will mobilize and give Block vote to a PDP Strong Northern Candidate with an Igbo Vice President . We have the Population our people are in all states in Nigeria , its on record that Tinubu could not even deliver Lagos 60% to APC and Buhari without resorting to self help , thuggery and destruction of Polling booths in Igbo dominated area of Lagos , we also control Abuja and all major states in Nigeria plus Block Vote in the South East.

igbos have the population but we are not too much interested in politics or vote but be assure if their is clear case of injustice our people will be fully mobilized like wartime and every single igbo man home and abroad will vote !!
I don't know why SE is crying for APC 2023. SE has never worked for APC. Why are they making noise?
PoliticsRe: Name One Leader You Have Produced Like Tinubu, Fashakin Tells Bode George by basybasy: 11:15pm On Jul 01, 2020
bolaayenimo:
Rotimi Fashakin, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday said whomever the party decides to call its National Leader is not the business of Chief Olabode George, a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Fashakin, a former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) was responding to an interview in which George said it is a misnomer for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to refer to himself as the national leader of APC.

George had said; “When you have a big party like that and someone wants to hijack it, there will be problem. First of all, it is a misnomer in a presidential system for a man who is not elected into any position to come out and say he is the National leader of the party. How is that possible?”

There is only one National leader of the party and that is the President. How can a ragamuffin from somewhere just wake up and say he is the National leader and not the President? What does that mean?”.

However, speaking in a chat with Daily Independent, Fashakin said Bode George is yet to recover from multiple electoral defeats inflicted on him the way British heavyweight boxer, Tyson Fury battered Deontay Wilder in their rematch in February 2020.

In his words “What is the business of Chief Bode George on who we choose to call National Leader in APC? Is he planning to join APC ? I think Chief Bode George should mind his business. If he is tired of being in PDP and I think PDP is not helping his political fortune, he should find something else to do. I’m not sure we want to have him in APC. We can accept him as member of APC if he applies properly”.

“His despicable obsession for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is something that is now becoming nauseous. It is like he is trolling or stalking him. Anywhere Tinubu goes, Bode George wants to go there too. He just derives pleasure in talking about him”.

“I read his interview calling Asiwaju a thief that will vomit all that he has stolen. Asiwaju has not been convicted of theft before but we know Chief Bode George’s story”.

“Who we choose to call national leader in APC is our business. It is not the business of Chief Bode George who is from PDP. I think he is suffering from overdose of shellacking. Asiwaju Tinubu has done to him what this heavyweight boxer; Tyson Fury did to Deontay Wilder”.

Loading...
“Before the bout, Wilder has made so much noise but everyone saw the way Fury pummeled him and reduced him to zero. His trainer had to throw a towel into the ring. Wilder even spent some days in the hospital due to the injuries he sustained in the fight.”

“I think that is the situation that Chief Bode George is in right now. Asiwaju has so much pummeled him with electoral punches and he has become punch-drunk that he now becomes too obsessed about anything Asiwaju does. We can understand his plight.”

“Let him first of all do the kind of things Asiwaju has done with politics of Nigeria since 1999 then he too will now be qualified to be called a national leader. Let him do one tenth of the kind of sacrifice that Asiwaju has done and see if he will merit being called a national leader. He is such a Lilliputian compared to the political stature of Asiwaju”.

“Look at the array of people that has passed through the school of politics of Asiwaju. Look at where they are today. How many people can Chief Bode George point to that has passed through him and are doing well politically today?” he asked.

PoliticsRe: 2023: Why North Will Give Amaechi Ticket To Settle Igbo Agitation by basybasy: 3:19pm On Jun 27, 2020
IkwerrePikin:
Let me tell you, in Nigeria politics tribe or ethnicity is not always considered by political parties if it would not benefit them!

There is a clamor for Southern/Igbo presidency, but an Igbo presidential candidate irrespective of the political part in today’s Nigeria with series of Biafran threat to break out of Nigeria, it would be difficult for Nigerians to support an Igbo man, because tomorrow another region will come with it’s own threat to break out if not given the presidential ticket.

Why North Will Choose Amaechi:

With the clamor for Igbo/Southern presidency, the north may consider to support Rotimi Amaechi whom they trust more from the Ikwerre ethnic group in Rivers state who are more pro Nigeria than the Igbos even though the Ikwerre people have made it clear right from time that they are not Igbos but rather Ikwerre who trace their ancestors to the Great Benin Kingdom (Oba of Benin confirmed this on his visit to PH, R/S), though some Igbo people have always confronted the Ikwerres claiming they are igbos due to the similarities in names and language with the Ikwerre people.

1. Rotimi Amaechi who have claimed in several occasions to be an Igbo man is so loved by Buhari and trusted to the point of appointing him minister In one of the biggest ministry twice even with the confrontation from the senate and other groups.

2. Rotimi Amaechi who is more pro Nigeria is seen as an Igbo man by the Igbos including the popular IPOB group, with this if he is supported by the North with his Igbo wife from Abia state, Rotimi Amaechi will be able to win majority votes from the South East hereby getting APC into the South East. Don’t forget that with Rotimi Amaechi and his yoruba-igbo name signifies a Southern Unity and he is likely to win majority vote from the South East, South South and also from the South West as he would be more accepted and trusted than an Igbo candidate from South East due to the Biafra threat to Nigeria today.

3. Rotimi Amaechi has a great record and experience as former Speaker, Governor, Chairman Nigerian governors forum, Minister twice with great record of managing the campaign train as director general that brought the opposition party Apc to power.

4. If Apc wants to retain power as it moves to the Southern part, it must present a candidate that would be accepted across the South, with a VP from the North with help from Buhari and top Northern politicans Apc will be able to win 2023 presidency.

5. With power moving to the South, there is no APC politician from the South than can stand Rotimi Amaechi, in terms of popularity and with the number of political positions and experience Amaechi has achieved over the years. Rotimi Amaechi is popularly know to have never lost a political battle before in his political carrier.

Some igbos man say he is Ikwerre and not Igbo and can never claim Igbo just because he wants to be president so they will not support him, but let me tell you majority of Igbos out there with that name “Amaechi” on a campaign postal will gladly support him more than an Atiku or anyone else who is also not Igbo.

I see Amaechi 2023...Who do you see and why??
It is like this writer smokes weed. How do u expect Ssouth to be given ticket ? Have forgot that GJonathan has used SS slot? U people will just come online and start saying rubush.

PoliticsRe: APC Crisis: Winners And Losers by basybasy: 11:39am On Jun 26, 2020
kahal29:
The crisis in the All Progressives Congress (APC) reached a denouement yesterday with the dissolution of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party. Davidson Iriekpen and Nseobong Okon-Ekong look at the victors and losers of the new phase in the party

WINNERS

Osaze Ize-Iyamu: Inching Closer to the Prize

He is often acknowledged as one of the founding fathers of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who helped to set the body rules with which the party is governed. A former Secretary to the Edo State Government, Ize-Iyamu’s quest to become governor on the platform of the APC was thwarted in 2016, forcing him to seek a similar opportunity in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He lost in the governorship election to the incumbent, Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Ize-Iyamu’s return to the APC came with a lot of intrigues and political melodrama that reverberated round the whole country.

In the wake of the Court of Appeal’s ratification of the suspension of the then APC National Chairman, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, who is the driving force behind his candidacy in the party, many had thought he might become a collateral damage in the power struggle in the party.

However, at the meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) yesterday in Abuja, his candidacy was ratified to make him one of the big gainers from the crisis in the party.

Kayode Fayemi: Sphere of Influence Increases

The Chairman of Nigerian Governors Forum and Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has definitely increased his sphere of influence with the outcome of the recent APC National Executive Council meeting (NEC).

If anyone harboured a doubt the closeness between Fayemi and President Muhammadu Buhari, the veil has been torn for all to see that Fayemi, who is among those behind the scene working to restore peace to APC, has the ear of the president.

Quietly pushing for a political settlement to the APC crises, Fayemi worked behind the scenes along the the Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Abubakar Bagudu.

The main body of the proposals from Fayemi and Bagudu to Buhari was adopted at the NEC meeting.

Abubakar Bagudu: Successful Captain

From almost being subsumed in the fight against bandits that devastated much of his state, Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State also had another headache to contend with in -the different battlefronts with keen gladiators, fighting for control of the APC. As Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum, he was like the captain of a sinking ship.

Bagudu shares the credit for successfully steering the threatened ship out of troubled waters.

All Progressives Congress (APC): Saved from the Brink

Since its formation on February 6, 2013, the All Progressives Congress (APC)has weathered many storms that threatened to make it go under, largely owing to the powerful interest groups that came together to form the party.

All the crises that have bedeviled the APC can be traced to the stubborn pursuit of individual goals against the communal or general interest of the group. These past seven years, chieftains of the party, valued federal and state legislators and state governors elected on the APC platform, have parted ways with the party, often through bitter quarrels that deal telling blows on the APC.

Each time, however, when the opposition was ready to sing nunc dimitis for the APC, the party rises again, rejuvenated, like a cat with nine lives.

Mai Mala Buni: Rising Star from the North

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State is a rising star from the North who was for a long time National Secretary of APC and the understands how the party secretariat works, meaning that he appointed most of the staff members and therefore will find no difficulty in restoring stability to party affiars. Even as he was one of the governors supporting Oshiomhole he is seen as a neutral team player and a pair of safe hands by all sides of the conflict.

LOSERS

Bola Tinubu: Taming the Lion

He has on several occasions been referred to as a master of political strategist. Never in his wildest imagination would he have thought that this would happen to him. During the countdown to the 2019 and when the second term of President Muhammadu Buhari kicked off, he was busy putting people in strategic places, indirectly oiling his political machinery, widely believed to be used to achieve his rumoured presidential ambition in 2023.

But all these came crashing down yesterday with the dissolution of the Adams Oshiomhole-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC by the National Executive Committee at the behest of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The dissolved NWC is peopled by those considered loyal to him, especially Oshiomhole, who he backed at the time of trouble.

The first sign that things were not going his way was when the president on Wednesday snubbed his faction of the NWC and recognised Victor Giadom as the party’s acting national chairman. The dissolution of the NWC, despite the protestations by members, was considered as part of a larger plot to tame his presidential ambition.

Therefore, with his loss of the national structure of the party, his undeclared presidential ambition has suffered a setback.

Despite the consolatory appointment of Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State into the new caretaker committee, Tinubu would have to go back to the drawing board to reset his presidential ambition.

Adams Oshiomhole: He Has Lost the Battle, will He Win the War?

Clearly the battle to save his political legacy in Edo State has suffered a major setback in his war of attrition with Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki who he brought into politics from Lagos Corporate life at the expense of his traditional loyalists.

Though he may have succeeded in paying Obaseki back for being allegedly ungrateful to him for making him governor, that comes at a huge price. He got his fingers burnt and lost his highly influential party chairmanship.

Oshiomhole went about his fight with Obaseki in an unrelentless manner as if there was nobody to call him to order at his initial reluctance to fight with Obaseki. But in trying to pull the governor down, which he succeeded by gaming the system to force him out of the party, he went down with him.

Even if he gets settled with a ministerial, ambassadorial or board appointment, it can never be like being the national chairman of a ruling party at a time when the nation prepares for a political transition. Oshiomhole is bloodied but certainly not to be counted out. He has lost the battle, but will he win the war.

If Obaseki by any chance wins his second term bid, he may find it difficult to enter his own Edo State.

But Obaseki may have won the battle for the PDP ticket, but it remains unclear whether or not he can win the war for his re-election.

Victor Giadom: Shove Aside after a Yeoman’s Job

The Rivers-state born politician shot himself into national reckoning in the last few weeks as he made a grab for the party’s leadership position in the wake of Adam’s Oshiomhole’s suspension.

However, many will remember Chief Victor Giadom, former Deputy National Secretary of the APC as the spoiler who nearly wrecked the APC. His appearance on the scene after the suspension of Oshiomhole was upheld further factionalised the party. His subsequent activities nearly drove a nail into the coffin of the APC.

But to those familiar with political intrigues, Giadom was a pawn in a complex chess game of power.

Now that he has served his purpose, he has been shoved aside along with his colleagues in the NWC to save the queen: APC.

Chief Hillard Etah: Pawn on the Chessboard

The National Vice Chairman in-charge of the South-south was hardly known beyond his zone. That was until colleagues in the leadership of the party pushed Chief Hillard Eta forward for the post of acting National Chairman to hold the fort for Senator Abiola Ajimobi who ought to have occupied the position in the aftermath of Oshiomhole’s suspension, if not for his hospitalisation.

However, his insistence, along with other NWC to oppose other party leaders’ bid to resolve the crisis by kicking against yesterday’s NEC meeting, showed that there were other considerations driving their position.

APC NWC: Sold to Outside Influence

While it may be a case of throwing away the baby with the bathwater or one oily finger soiling the rest, the point that has been made is that the National Working Committee of the APC as previously constituted had bought into the vision and dream of one powerful individual, line, hook and sinker. Therefore, allowing any of them to remain in office could mean leaving a window of opportunity open for control by outside influence at the expense of stability in APC.

In as much as this might sound a good news to some of us it should also be a lesson. Tinubu greed and over ambitiousness landed him here nd if he doesn't take care, worst will happen to him soon cuz they won't let him rest.

Second... This should be a call for the Yoruba's nd Igbo's that both of them are just slaves to the Hausa's nd they will only hand pick the one they like or the rather the one who will be Igbo or Yoruba by name but will be Hausa inside.

The Hausa's has taken over Nigeria nd they're governing it like its their house. Time to wake up Nigerians. How can Yoruba of a population over 50milliom have only 6states, Igbo's 5 states nd hausa's 19 states... They alone will win no matter who Igbo's or Yoruba supports... This is a wake up call. The Hausa's holds too much power.
If all these will even lead to the creation of three countries it is bettet

Buhari should rather be suspended from the party or ask to resign if he dare attend such meeting. That is the end of apc and formation of new party and new Nigeria. The progressives will come heavily on Buhari more than boko aram,it will now down on him that he can not hold the govt without them. Watch out
When u trust a Fulani, u dig ur grave. Fulani always betray their benefactors. History is there, even apart from history, till today, Fulani is the major problem of Africa. Lets Bihari betrays Tinubu and use his hand destroy APC. He has bn given two undeserved term. This one will be a lesson to Tinubu.

Even if Tinubu is retired today, he has done really well. He enthroned kings, he made ordinary people become leaders, even some of the people that are scrambling to retire him today, were people that he handpicked to rule in different areas. Very few men can beat their chests that they can ever do as much as he has done. We salute his sagacity!
Thank u my brother for a true talk

Fani idiot, when are u going to be wise? No Tinubu in Apc, it means Pdp rises. Once APC schemed out Tinubu that has suffered for it, the next thing is to prepare the casket of APC. Full of ingrates.

I don't blame anybody. I only blame Buhari because he does not have the love of APC in hearth. He has achieve his two term ambition. No wonder, Fayose and Ffk warned people about him. We are watching. For you people to sideline south, APC will scatter come 2023.

Can you imagine, under the nose of Buhari, Yusuf is stealing trillions of naira. We made a terrible mistake for voting this man as our president. He can't even remember his name
