You are right, a Bsc in Economics should not be compared with a Phd in Political Economics because the Phd is far superior to the Bsc.
Shouldn't you be comparing degrees within fields and not many among fields.

Is someone with a PHD in general studies automatically smarter than someone with a Masters in Applied Math? Nigerians are obsessed with degrees and titles in general.

You need an undergraduate degree and an LSAT score to enter law school in the US.

Fact is he was a school drop out. If you found something wrong with the way I put it, you didn't have to be a fool about it.
for drop outs like bill gates and warren buffet that make it, there are many others that regret dropping out. Not many of us had the resources and natural intellect had as a child. Guys like bill gates are the exception.

For your information, a Phd holder in Political Economics is miles ahead in terms of expert knowledge in economics than an upstart with a Bsc in Economics.
wouldn't someone with a degree in political economics and someone with a degree in "classical" economics have different specializations? The two shouldn't be compared.

Religion is one of the things holding Africa back. Corruption, 1st. . lack of eduction  . .  .but religion is up there too.  People are too busy being scared to piss God off, they can't love even their own kids. Trying to brush over this as just some unfortunate mishap does those kids no favors.
I won't say Religion per say but the expectation that God would solve your problems is what's holding Africans by.   Read the politics section in the forum and you'd see people praying for God to enact "judgment" on their leaders.  This same God seems to have let the likes of IBB to go unharmed for decades. That servile attitude coupled with religious extremism (boko haram etc) is what's ruining africans

this research can not be 100% conclusive.
no sociologist would claim his/her is 100% conclusive. heck researchers in other fields won't say such thing. There is merit to the research but of course it can be argued.

simple thing, re-arrange the police to make it more effective. admit educated people into the police. put money and prestige into the force. arrange daily patrols. everyday, policemen in every street. even part time community policing(like in the UK) this crime will slow down a bit.
add armed security to every bus transportation, even street cameras. this thing will slow down. but arm nigerians, a people who cant organise an election without killing each other, a loud and violent people, always fighting each other. hmmm, e get as e be o.

we need full education of our people b4 we arm them
hasn't gun crime being replaced by knife crime in the UK?

I don't see the direct correlation between gun licenses and crime. Most criminals don't have licenses for their guns.

Why exactly do they deserve a civil union? Is that what the majority ruled for?
the last time i checked, the nigerian government can enact laws without the vote of the majority.   The Supreme Court has the power to strike down laws voted in by the majority if they are deemed unconstitutional.

This happened during the civil rights era in the United States.   The majority have no right to oppress a minority.

I did not, in any way, imply such. In fact, I wasn't looking for happiness. I'm actually fine with being content. All I was saying was that, I would have simply preferred a "Yes" or "No" answer, because my question was indeed a "Yes" or "No" question. That's all.
the answer is a Yes.

It's illegal?
yes it is punishable by jail time in nigeria

Last I checked, marriage is a social institution, and culture and society dictate what they consider as acceptable forms of marriage.
I never argued this
why should their government recognize it?
because the said government is supposed to democratic and secular.  Homosexual deserve at least a form of civil union

Well. .  I'm content that you answered my question, but I would have been satisfied (not necessarily happy) if you had simply answered "Yes" or "No".
It's not my job on this forum to make you happy.

Got ya  grin grin grin

This afternoon while in his Manhattan offices, employees say that 50 Cent was listening to Fat Joe's new album, "J.O.S.E. 2" when all the sudden, he collapsed! An ambulance was called, and by the time they arrived, 50 Cent regained consciousness and was complaining of blurred vision and a severe migraine. 50 Cent was rushed to Mt. Sinai hospital at 4:26 pm.

Doctors say after performing a Cat Scan and EKG there seems to be some damage to his auditory cortex, which is the region of the brain that is responsible for processing sound.

Okay. So, if gays don't need approval, why should gayness be legalized?
umm because they don't want to go to jail? and they want the right to marry?

So are you trying to say that homosexuality is genetic? Yes or no? It is a simple question.
I believe homosexuality is a combination of genetic and environmental factors?

happy now?
