But where actually does the ET/GT guys work in the bank? How can one know them when you see them. Do they also man the counter and customer service desks? |
HenryIgwe01:First, know that God does not do evil. So God is not responsible for your situation. Every good and perfect gift comes from God. But you know why contrary situations like yours exist, the devil has sown this seed while men slept. I remember Pastor Paul Enache 's testimony of the defect the doctor said his child was born with, immediately, he rejected it. And the detect has never reared its head since then. This things comes with knowledge. What you don't know, you pay for it. It is now left to for you to accept this as your fate or fight a good fight of faith knowing that it is not the will of God for you. At creation, God would look at any creature and declare that it is good. You are part of the goodly creature of God. What you don't want, you don't watch. Enter into the redemptive package of God and begin to appropriate to yourself, through a prayer of faith, your inheritance in redemption, which includes good health. Part of the infirmity Jesus bore and took away on the cross for the redeemed is stammering. If God can heal people of worse situations than yours, he can heal you |

Can a cover letter's address hurt your chances of getting an interview? Yes, it is possible. Imagine you are applying for a job position at a company. You have officially submitted your resume for this position, and are now required to send your cover letter to the hiring manager. But, wait...you have no idea whom to address it to! If that thought brings you stress, then you have come to the right place. Did you know that personalization is the cardinal rule of cover letters? Addressing your cover letter to the appropriate individual makes a good first impression. It shows that you spent the effort to research the precise facts for the letter rather than sending a generic one. A proper greeting that is specific sets the tone for the rest of your cover letter, showcasing your attention to detail and distinguishing your job application. 1. When You Know the Hiring Manager’s Name By personally addressing the recruiting manager, you may establish a personal relationship. Use their entire name (first and last name) in the greeting, whoever it is. If you don't know their gender but know their entire name, start with "Dear," then their first and last names. This is always a safe option, even if you know their gender. Dear Adeniyi Jones, Dear Peter Chukwudi, etc. If you are certain of their gender and want to use a title, use either "Mr." or "Ms." Avoid using "Mrs." or "Miss" since this will involve some guesswork about their marital status. (You may make an exception if you know the hiring manager personally and they have told you their preference.) Follow the title with their last name. For example: Dear Ms. Ekuma, Dear Mr. Badmus 2. When Your Contact Has an Academic or Professional Title When the hiring manager has a title, you may wish to use a different prefix in your cover letter salutation instead of "Mr." or "Ms." If the individual has a PhD, for example, it is more courteous to address them as "Dr. Last Name" rather than "Ms. Last Name." Professor (Prof. ), Reverend (Rev. ), and Sergeant (Sgt.) are some other academic or professional titles you could come across and can be used instead of a first name. Prof. Aldridge, Rev. McClellan, Sgt. Link, Dear Dr. Steuben, and so on. 3. When You Don’t Know the Hiring Manager's Name If you're not sure who to address your cover letter to, do some research to find out who the recruiting manager is. The fact that you've addressed your cover letter to a specific individual indicates to the hiring manager that you've prepared it for this specific job. It also demonstrates that you've made an effort to learn more about the firm. If you've done your homework but still can't come up with a name, there are a few more alternatives that will present you in a professional light. By personalizing your greeting to the individual position and organization, you may demonstrate that you've studied the job description completely. What department of the firm does the position belong to? Who are you going to report to? The goal is to demonstrate that you studied the job description and customized your greeting to the firm department where the position is situated, the hiring manager's title, or the team with whom you may work. Here are five examples of how to address someone in a cover letter when you don't know their name. Dear Project Manager Hiring Team, Dear Sales Associate Hiring Manager, Dear Finance Department, Dear Head of Design To the Customer Service Search Committee, To the Computer Science Recruitment Team, Dear Software Team Hiring Manager They demonstrate that you're not just firing resumes from a potato gun. You have a good understanding of what's going on in the firm. If you're still having trouble finding a specific person or department, try "Dear Hiring Manager." It has a professional tone to it and isn't gender-specific. In fact, a recent Saddleback College poll of over 2000 firms revealed that 40% chose "Dear Hiring Manager" as the best welcome when a manager's name couldn't be identified. Another alternative that works since it is gender-neutral and courteous is "Dear Sir or Madam." However, it sounds a little old-fashioned, and it might indicate to a hiring manager that you're an older employee or just unaware of alternative greeting options. 4. How to Locate the Name of a Recruiting Manager like a Detective If you don't know the name of the recruiting manager, you can find out by utilizing the following methods: A valid email address: If the email address is bmoyewa@sphericon.com, a google search combining the person's name and the firm name may yield the person's complete name. A Google search for "b moyewa" and "sphericon.com," for example. You'll very certainly find your manager's entire name. The job description: The name of the recruiting manager may be found in this document. Even though it isn't commonly listed, you never know. If it's not evident, there's a simple way to find an email in the job description that could contain the name: hit Ctrl + F or execute Command + F while in the page and look for the @ sign. A LinkedIn job posting: If there is a name associated with the LinkedIn job posting, it is likely that it was placed by the recruiting professional, therefore mention their name in your greeting. Examine the company page or conduct a LinkedIn company search. Visit the company's website for more information. Look for the department's head on the company's staff page or in a list of employees by title. Call. Make a phone call to the company's receptionist. Explain that you're looking for a job and would prefer your cover letter addressed to the appropriate individual. Check your network for anybody who could know the person's name, or use the proper professional networking sites to look for the person's name. Finally, this research can be the difference between creating a strong first impression and being considered for the post — or being completely overlooked by the recruiting manager. "To Whom It May Concern," "Hi/Hello," or "Dear Sir or Madam" are all impersonal greetings to avoid. They're out-of-date and too formal. 5. Never Leave the Greeting Blank It's critical to never leave your welcome line blank, regardless of what information you may or may not uncover. A blank greeting line might make you appear sluggish or disrespectful, or it can indicate that you don't know how to write a cover letter, both of which will automatically eliminate you from consideration for the position. When there are so many alternatives to choose from, there's no excuse to leave the greeting blank. You don't want to come out as "just another candidate" by utilizing a generic greeting or no greeting at all after spending the time and effort to tailor your cover letter. A customized greeting will impress any hiring manager, boosting the likelihood that they will read your full resume. — and ask you for an interview. Do not get too upset if your resume or cover letter does not look perfect after putting in your best. The resume writers at SpheriCon Virtual Assistant can help you create the right documents. Every time I see a mobile app of a product versus its web version, I’m baffled. The web app always seems to have less features, less aesthetic appeal and it is even more inconvenient to use. What is it about web apps that doesn’t make them as functional or nice looking as their mobile and desktop versions? Why the discrepancy? How do we avoid it? On LinkedIn web version for instance, you can't create a poll, upload documents or a video. You can't fill the "open to work" session, post an article or upload a cover video. #webapps #app #appdevelopment #product #webapp #usability #aesthetic #usability #usabilitytesting #productmanager #usabilitytesting #ux #uxdesign #uxdesigner #uxreasearch #uxreasearch #uxdesign #uxdesigner #webappdevelopment # |
Yesterday I received the most heartbreaking news ever. I had thought losing a postgraduate scholarship was my most heartbreaking moment, but lo and behold, I was wrong. I had applied to a leading and reputable trading company in Nigeria for a job I saw I was qualified for in August. I had long forgotten about the application as I never received a response after that. But last week Monday, everything was different. I received a call from the company's headquarters telling me that I would have a virtual interview on Tuesday for the position I had applied for. I accepted. I was interviewed by an expatriate, who happened to be the head of HR at the company, and I could tell from our interaction that I would be successful. My hunch was correct. On Wednesday, I was notified of my employment via email. Oh...I could not contain my joy! The moment I have been waiting for for so long. It's certainly a relief after months of job hunting. On Thursday, I received more documents, including the letter of intent confirming that I will start work on Monday, October 11, 2021. I resumed work on Monday as stipulated for my documentation but was unable to do anything. The HR of the branch where I was supposed to fill out the paperwork kept me waiting until he asked me to leave and come back yesterday, Tuesday. But I suspected something sinister was about to happen because the HR kept calling back and forth. I reported yesterday for the said purpose and after several hours of waiting, I was called by the head office in Lagos that my employment was not in line with company policy. It was discovered that I have a relative (brother) who already works for the company. The company does not allow relatives to work. He works in another branch where I filed my documents while I was recruited to work at another branch in a different State. That was how I lost the job yesterday. All I know is that spouses are not allowed to work in the same organization, but what is wrong with relatives working for the same organization. And come to think of it, I was not informed of this policy during my hiring process. My relative said he did not know either thus he would have advised me not to apply. What is the reason for this, I wonder? Is it fear of sentiment? Fear of stealing the company's money or not being productive? Why can relatives work in the same company? I was not even hired to work in the same branch/zone as him. What is all this fuss about? I have not been myself since yesterday. The excitement, the expectations, the planning, all gone. But I know there is hope. I will rise again. |
One of the most important things you can do to make your CV stand out is to tailor it to a specific job description. And to do that, you only need one resume in your arsenal, not three, ten, or twenty as some people believe. One way to do this is to use keywords that are likely to appear in the job description. All job descriptions contain specific tasks that are required for the position being filled. When recruiters sift through hundreds of resumes, this makes it easier for them to locate the ideal candidate. A CV which is "keyword-rich," is a tailored CV. So where do you look for keywords in the job description? Job Description Title: The title/heading of your resume is the first thing a recruiter sees, just as the job description title is the first thing you see. Position Summary: This is a fantastic resource for identifying keywords. The summary defines what the company and the position entail. Responsibilities: The position summary is usually followed by a bulleted list of responsibilities, which are the important activities you must perform on a daily basis. Job Qualifications: This will tell you how many years of experience you need and what level of education you must have, among other things. When you are done with this, then compare your skills (hard and soft) to the job description after pulling out the keywords. How many of these keywords are on your list of hard and soft skills? This should tell your chances of being interviewed. Hard Skills: These are skills that you have developed over the course of your professional life. They are often quantifiable and have been acquired through education and experience. Project management, technology skills, marketing, presentations, and financial analysis are just a few examples. Soft skills are a reflection of your personality and the character traits you possess that enable you to do good work. Leadership skills, emotional intelligence, teamwork skills, flexibility, and work ethic are some of these traits. Check yourself and make a list of the skills you possess that match the keywords of the job. You should now have a decent list of skills that you can use. Be sure to note that a simple listing of skills 9r competencies in your resume is not enough. Avoid copying the keywords/skills required directly from the job description and weaving them into the wording of your resume. You need to present specifics and, more importantly, accomplishments related to those skills. How can you tell if your resume is tailored correctly? Reviewing your resume is the best way to determine if it is appropriate for a job posting. Your resume will be scanned to determine if it can pass an ATS scan, and you'll learn if you have the right keywords, if the resume is esthetically acceptable to a hiring manager, and if it positions you as the candidate companies are looking for. Do not get too upset if your resume does not look perfect after this process. The resume writers at SpheriCon Virtual Assistant can help you create the right documents. fergie0o1:Oh, Trademore again. I used to live there. The terrain of some houses there is very bad. Even without a downpour, you could see that it is precarious for anyone to live in some houses. Yet, the estate owners will still rent it out, putting up palliative measures that won't save the day. Sorry for their losses. |

Experts suggest that it takes a recruiter 10 seconds (or less) to decide if your resume is any good, and that the font size and style you choose will have a big impact on that decision. The right font makes your resume stand out in the right way. What are the best fonts for a resume? A font that makes your resume difficult to read in any way or looks unprofessional will quickly end up in the trash. You could be the most competent candidate, but if your resume does not read properly, you are out of the running from the start. To make sure your qualifications are the main focus and not your choice of font, here are some reliable resume font rules you should know and follow. The fonts listed below all work well for a resume because they are clean, professional-looking, and overall easy to read. Calibri Arial Helvetica Tahoma Trebuchet Verdana Garamond Times New Roman When choosing a font for your resume, you should aim for three specific goals: Does it present you as a professional who is well qualified for the job? Can recruiters and hiring managers easily read the resume and search it for important keywords and information? Will it be read correctly by an Applicant Tracking System or online application program? Therefore, avoid flowery, themed or "fun" fonts such as Comic Sans and Impact or cursive fonts such as Freestyle Script and Segoe Script. anastasius:Many people claim to know but only a few are really skilled. Just knowing how to operate social media pages, as some people only know how to do, is not digital marketing. There is more to this. Do you how much knowing how to place YouTube/Google Ads can fetch you? What about Pay-per-click? Content marketing with SEO incorporation, if you know your onions at this, is a huge money-making skills. Even Instagram & Pinterest management skills alone can be a source of sustainance. How many people truly know the in-depth capabilities of Instagram for business visible? How many know how to do tag research? And many more I can't mention. What about creating a course or digital product after mastering this skill and sell to teeming youths who want to learn? Even been a freelancing with this skills is another thing on its own. What about being a Virtual Assistant like me? The thing is digital marketing has many branches, focus on a niche and make money. People, companies, businesses want to make sales, since most of their potential customers are online, the need for a digital marketer will not end is a foreseeable future.

[quote author=Dannyset post=104754601]Positive discipline for better mental and physical health and a happy childhood. There are no bad children, only bad behaviour. How to discipline your child the smart and healthy way. There comes a time when every parent struggles with how best to discipline their child. Whether dealing with a screaming toddler or an angry teen, it can be hard to control your temper. No parent wants to find themselves in such a situation and the bottom line is that shouting and physical violence never help. Thankfully, there are other, more effective ways and one of them is positive discipline. We consulted Lucie Cluver, Oxford University professor of Child and Family Social Work and mother of two young boys, to explore how the approach can help parents build positive relationships with their children and teach skills like responsibility, cooperation and self-discipline.

MeghaneMorgane:I also stay alone but unlike you, I don't feel lonely, maybe because I'm an introvert. I get invigorated being alone. Yours is still better; you said you go to work. I don't anywhere; I work from home because I work as a Virtual Assistant. In fact, one of my neighbours in the same compound has only seen me today since Sunday, which shows I don't even step outside my room. How have I been hoping? I will say aside from the fact that this nature suits my personality, I kill boredom by working. I always juggle from one work to the other. So there is no room for boredom. Whenever I want to take a break from my work, I do what I enjoy. Like you, I also watch Youtube & Facebook videos and others, but not on every tom, dick and harry content I see online. I love football, so my mind has been configured to look out for football highlights on those platforms, and this excites me. Sometimes, I may want to watch for few minutes, but later realize I have sent over an hour. In the same vein, I enjoy listening to music. So simultaneously as a work, I play music and this whirl away boredom. Therefore, I will advice that you spend your time on what you enjoy. It may be reading books, doing house chores and what have you. |

You can't talk someone to salvation. It is the work of the Holy Spirit. First, pray if he is the will of God for you. You're ain't married yet! That can lead to praying for his salvation. Even if you're not going to marry him, you still have to pray for his salvation. |
It is good you have come with all sincerity to vent your frustration. However, I will admonish you don't dwell on it. You used the word "miserable" like five to six times, it is high time you changed that. Stop complaining and start doing. The more you complain, the more worst you see your life to be. What you need now is a re-think. Focus less on the negative things around, and focus more on God. Nobody or any advice here can help you except God. You need God. It is for your own good. They were people in a more precarious situation than you are who got extricated by dint of prayer and hard work. Yours shouldn't be an exception. You can still commit the rest of your life to God and watch Him order your steps. While this is going on, there are small gigs you can do with your phone that can fetch you money. Like SME airtime and data sales, simple logo design and graphic design. I offer to help you start with anyone. |
"There are no uninteresting things, only uninterested people" G.K. Chesterton The world present predicament predisposes everyone to a state of boredom. Conversely, human beings are relational beings. That's why one of the greatest punishments you can mete on anyone is solitary confinement. The individual can be bored to stupor. The truth is that life is a thousand times too short for us to bore ourselves. Howbeit, as we try to stay afloat of the #covid19 pandemic and its downturn, we need mental energizing activities to cheer us and lighten up our day. One of these is the #GoogleWordCoach game. Do you seek to catch fun? How about developing your vocabulary? Then this is for you. Vocabulary wise, an umpteen number of youths are very shallow. This is distasteful. Their repertoire of words is not any better than that of an elementary school pupil. While your vocabulary repository will afford you an array of words to use, it helps you to ace grammar tests or exams. It is myopic for you to reason people enhance their vocabulary just for self-aggrandizement or bombasting, you're doing yourself a great disservice if you don't seek to develop yours, especially if you're a student. The game automatically presents a word and ask you to choose from the two available options the word that is similar or opposite to the given word. Try this out. It promises to be interesting.
