There is a pentecostal church that does that as well. IGEM is a pentecostal church and doesn't impose tithe and offering on any member. There is actually boxes in the Church in which you can drop your offering or tithe there anytime anyday you wish, it just have to come from your heart. |

There is nothing sweeter more than the thought of spending the rest days of your life with your best friend. We found love and it settled our differences. Against all odds, we are getting married soon. This is a love story of another Yoruba man (called Afonja on Nairaland) and Ibo girl (called Ipob here). There is always love in unity and there is nothing love can't settle. Nobody can be more supportive, caring and lovely than this beautiful wife of mine. I will always bless God for connecting us together. Different tribe, same God #Aug12 is the day #St Theresa Catholic Church, Ifako Agege is the venue W#Jollof rice4u

The election has been won and lost. The people have again spoken. Below are the few of the lessons we can learn from most especially as it relates to the principal actors: Dr Mimiko Men are not God. He is one of the luckiest Governor in the State's history. The very first to complete a two term tenure since 1976. His greatest undoing was to have seen himself as "invincible" aside being a scammer. Nemesis started its payback when Jimoh Ibrahim chose to match him scam for scam, Naira for Naira. Notwithstanding the crisis that shook the party to its roots, he believed the central that had the largest votes would carry his chosen successor to victory. He also wrongly believed the people understood his failure to pay salaries and pensions. He felt he was the most important factor in the State. He spent the least on the D-Day believing the network of political appointees would rise up to the challenge as always in getting the desired results. When plan b was also glaringly the option, he acted like the stubborn fly that followed the corpse into the grave. He is a war General who has lost his fluidity and dynamism. In summary, try to recreate yourself even when you have done the impossible. You stand the risk of losing it all when you stop being creative. Chief Olusola Oke Try and start it earlier. He had the crowd and started what was a movement. The structure of the party was simply missing. What he did within weeks is commendable. Unfortunately there are no medals for losers in an election. Perhaps, he would have done more with more cash on the election day? Eyitayo Jegede Take charge of your destiny. His greatest undoing was likely his 100% dependence on Mimiko. His emergence polarized a struggling party. The legal tussles caused further distractions. He would wake up this morning thinking if indeed he loves his Akure people or they hated him that much. In summary, the seller is as important as the product. An Ebola infected person selling pure water will likely have no or little sales. A fine chic in a joint promoting a brand you don't drink can however make any guy switch that night. Rotimi Akeredolu Perhaps the most underrated in the race. He networked with those that mattered to get results having failed at a previous attempt in 2012. He is supposed to be the worst politician amongst the contestants, but he has got what eluded the better politician. The APC structure aided him in no small way, but money was the ultimate. His party spent over 1b on the election day alone. In summary, he is the man of the moment. How different his case will be from Kogi State is what we may have to see in the months ahead. He is the new Machiavelli in the State. He got what he wanted using all he had bruising egos, creating enemies and building bridges along the way. We await the realization of the campaign promises. The FG By Nigerian standard, PMB/APC will commend themselves on this free and fair election that did not end up as inconclusive. The monetization of the process which the law enforcement officers chose too ignore is a very huge dent on the anti-corruption crusade of the regime. It is also hypocritical and incompetent if the same issues that saw Dasuki and PDP become a subject of probe is still prevalent and no step has yet to be taken in reforming it. Ondo State was the battlefield for the 2019 agenda. The glimpse we have had of such shows that PDP can at best be described as "naive/gracious" when it comes to fighting dirty. Ondo Electorate You have had your say. You have voted. The Naira rain was rewarding. It solved some immediate needs no doubt, but reality beckons today or tomorrow. We have sold our votes and with it most of our rights to criticize. Actions comes with consequences and we all will live with the one we have made now. It is our collective responsibility to ensure good governance and reject misrule/maladministration. The journey starts in some few months time and i hope we all are ready? Being in APC doesn't mean some of the problems facing us will disappear contrary to the campaing gimmicks. Check out Osun/Oyo if you are in doubt and ask yourself how better off they are than us. Gov Ayodele Fayose He will be completing his second term soon. He has seen up close and personal the way and manner federal might and monies were deployed in his sister state. I am sure he will start a sinking fund equal to 2 months pre recession allocation to counter the APC Naira for Naira if the same Naira rain we had in Ondo should be required. Dr. Fayemi He would be beaming with smiles having got the formular required to aid his comeback bid in Ekiti. Except the Naira rain works, he would likely not be trusted by those that matters anymore. Poverty and Electors The sad reality of poverty in the country surfaced in the election. Like or hate them, those that sold their votes needed the money because it is material to them. It sure may not be to you but it is to some. We simply should not even be talking of election in an atmosphere of poverty this much if we were not an animal kingdom in the first place. The role of money in our polity has assumed the dimesion of a Geometric Progression. The earlier and faster we work on minimizing poverty the better for us all as a people. Politicians are simply back to the days of placing allocations on call and doing what they like having known that money will answer all things. In summary, money still answereth all things. Get it or die trying Akokos/Ilaje/Ese Odo/Akures These are the real losers in the election. How justifiable their actions are is something we all will have to learn as time goes on. None of the above will likely become a Governor in 8 years time if care isn't taken. While that in itself isn't a must, Gov. Mimiko's reign is such that has made it more attractive to have a Gov from your domain. The neglected areas will be hoping they get some attention now. In closure, it would be nice if elections like we just had were a monthly affair. Students won't be complaining of not being paid bursaries, workers will keep their PVC well as it is a money spinner. Party members will love it too. God bless Ondo State and congratulations to the governor elect-Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu. Ayekooto Odo Ondo |

fistonati: Do you even know the meaning of pedestrian bridge if I may ask, the pedestrian bridge you re trying to refer to is only a temporary bridge constructed then to gave people access in crossing the Apete river (border), and since the main bridge have been constructed, do you still expect the government to rehabilitate the temporary pedestrian bridge again? Am a critics but not a destructive criticism, if at all we will criticise any government in power, let it be constructive criticism always. Ire oo! |

Ibikunle Olalekan Musbahu is one of the victims of the accident that happened at iworoko, close to EKSU. He was a good friend of mine, never believed I had a friend in the accident when I received the news until the news start rolling in. He wasn't a student of EKSU but a fresh graduate of The Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, he only went for his final clearance before he met his end together with his friends later in that day. I will always live with your memories forever, we really shared a lot cos you're once my roommate. The entire Mineral Resources Engineering Department of The Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti and the alumni will always remember you. What's life anyway!

Fact on Ekiti
Dr Kayode fayemi paid #2.6b for workers
salary,Mr Fayose also said he paid #2.6b,
how? see fact.
• Fayemi hired 708 board members.
Fayose reduced them to 50. Fayemi had
429 SAs/SSAs, Fayose reduced them to
11. Fayemi appointed 735 Ekiti people into
the 16 LGS and LCDAs, but Fayose
reduced them to 80. Fayemi's cabinet had
43 members, but Fayose reduced them to
21.
Fayemi engaged 800 peace corps
members with each earning N20,000.00
per month while Fayose has none.
Fayemi hired 535 Ekiti people into
EKSTMA, each taking N25,000.00 per
month, but Fayose reduced them to 35,
while in Paramedics, Fayemi engaged160
Ekiti people but Fayose has none.
Fayemi paid Senior Citizens (Owo Arugbo)
totalling 19,627, each taking N5,000.00
monthly but Fayose has cancelled the
scheme.
In Youth Volunteers Scheme, Fayemi hired
5,000 youths each taking N10,000.00
monthly while Fayose has none.
This is besides Fayose himself disclosing
that he discovered 500 ghost workers
during staff audit exercise and save 500
million from it.
All workers can confirm these figures in
the office of the Accountant General,
Ministry of Finance and SSG's office.
The question is: how can you have this
statistics and Ekiti workers believed for a
long time that Fayose is paying the same
salary as Fayemi until they now realise
that Fayose has been duping them?
The truth is that what we have in Ekiti
State is a rogue regime that appears to
hypnotIse Ekiti workers for a long time,
shutting their sense of reasoning before
hunger forced them to rediscover
themselves again.
Does Fayose have money to pay workers
with these facts? |

I am having a serious misunderstanding with the person I love so much simply because of fuel crisis and epilepsy power supply. As I can’t afford to fuel a generator and there isn't power supply, I need to charge my phone elsewhere. The first problem came when she called my number to pass an urgent message that needs my attention but I wasn't able to picked the call because I was charging my phone somewhere else, she called several times until she was pissed off. I tried to apologize after seeing the missed call, she accepted the apology but she was deeply hurt. I hope this nation crisis don't kill our relationships because communication is so important in relationships and is the pillar of intimacy. Laugh at me if you can but am very sure someone is passing through same thing. |

CHANGE! CHANGE!! CHANGE!!!
What is Change? *
CHANGE is when a Friday goes by
and no one is dying in the Mosque due to Bomb
Blast.. .
* CHANGE is when Sunday goes by and no one
hears
of another Bomb Blast in a Church killing
worshipers..... .
* CHANGE is when mansion built with stolen
money
are sealed up and confiscated..... .
*CHANGE is when Boko Haram suicide bombers
are
intercepted before they kill innocent people.... .
* CHANGE is when prominent looters fall sick
after
years of eating our yams and bleat like demented
goat for forgiveness... .
*CHANGE is when untouchable comes to court
with
Handcuffs... .
* CHANGE is when Corrupt people swallow or
chew
their confessional statements in panic to escape
the
long arm of the law..... .
*CHANGE is when judges stop giving stupid
interlocutory injunction to stop corruption from
being investigated and prosecuted..... .
I am neither surprised nor worried by " their"
hatred
for Buhari... Rats and a cat can never live in the
same
place. Too many things divide and draw heavy
distinctions between BUHARI and his haters:
He loves Nigeria , they hate it. He thinks of
Nigerians,
they think of themselves and family. He is honest,
they are dishonest. He has character, they lack it.
He
pursues the Hereafter they struggle to have the
world
in their armpits.
He is patriotic, they are greedy and selfish. He
serves,
they derail and enslave.
He is devoid of moral stains, they are immorality
personified. His past is clean and shinny, their
past
hunts them.
They are thieves, he catches thieves. They have
stolen, he wants to get back the loots. They are
insects and pests, he is a powerful and effective
insecticide. Fear fear fear, they are afraid of
BUHARI.
They are running, Buhari is in hot pursuit. They
call
for division, he works on unity. They say Boko
Haram,
he calls Nigeria.
They want Biafra, he chooses Nigeria. They shout
Niger Delta, he advocates Nigeria. They shared
money for arms, he is retrieving the money and
buying the arms.
They sponsored insurgency, he is defeating
insurgency. Keep on keeping on Mr. President we
love you and we appreciate all that you are doing
to
revive and integrate this country into a strong
economic institution |
