Even if he woefully lost the total election, he will most likely win the FCT with others not getting 25% just as OBI won Enugu.

The constitution specifically said and the FCT (even if it is acknowledged as a State).

The constitution says you must have two-third of other states AND this state (FCT).

Why the emphasis on the FCT, because it is the seat of power and house diverse professionals and diverse ethnic group.

Those arguing with Falana are trying to say that a candidate cannot be declared President if he wins 36 states but fails to get 25 percent in the FCT.

The draft-men gave that particular state a name. They cannot say in 37 states because Nigeria has 36 states and the FCT. That's the name.

Open your constitution section 299.

In ordinary language it's "Even though we are not calling it 37 states, every place we have said 36 states and the FCT, the FCT will be regarded as a State".
