Austinpee4: Emmm, i noticed somebody answered you already and i also agree with the person. You should fill 10k for room and board. Anything from 3k and above for other. The cumulative of tuition+room and board +other will then sum up your funds available.
Also, ensure you have the equivalent of the funds declared in the SOA. The available funds in the statements should be alittle over the funds you declare especially if your sponsor is a 3rd party. However, if these funds are transfered to you or atleast your first year tuition is paid, it will allay any doubt as to commitment of sponsor. Okay thanks I appreciate alot |

nairalandnewbie: Thank you Austin. Can I present a different letter of admission at poe. That is using a different school other than that which i used in applying fr my trv. I just got of the phone with the Admission specialist and the same position is being maintained. No extension except i get my trv in a few weeks i'm just hoping for the best at this point You can not present another admission letter....except the one you sumit to the embassy. .....because at the port of entry they will still demand for your documents..After crossing over you to Canada you can now ask questions and change to another |

Sirmicholo: Please I need help from everyone
Please forgive me as my question is not directly related to this trend but somehow related.
Am not in Nigeria presently and I want to open GTbank domiciliary account (I have naira account with GTbank ) To finalise the opening of the domiciliary account, the Bank has sent me forms to fill and send it bank to them.
My worries
With this era of no dollars and limitation to dollar transactions , is it advisable to proceed with the process?
My questions
Is there limitation to online transfer/payment and withdrawal on GTbank domiciliary account?
Is there any excessive deduction on domiciliary account whether after I open the account or each transaction I make?
Can I get all my dollars from the account especially if I want to pay for my tuition fees?
Please I need adequate information about the Gtbank domiciliary account.
Thank you so much for your help. Why not asked your question in GTBank plc.....usually GTBank daily with drawer limit is 1000 dollars |

[quote author=DereI post=58257833]Is your sponsor your family member? Same surname? Are you attaching any other source of income i.e; your SOA, Properties?
Alright now, put on your VO's cap!!! If you were a VO, how would you handle this case?
Leaving your sponsor with just 1.2m? Think about it.
You should add other documents such as car document, landed properties, etc.
The sponsor is my mummy brother and he is single not married........at austinpee4 and derel I don't have any money in my account |

DereI: Total your tution fees and living expenses and convert to Naira. If it is less than your sponsor's balance, then ok. Remember, your sponsor cannot sponsor you with all his life's saving and keep nothing to cater for himself and his family.
That means the difference should be huge The total of school fee and living expenses is 7.2million and the balance will be 1.2million |
