Man UsPs has dealt with me

Sent two transcripts from nacho.
The first one was sent to the wrong state. Instead of Texas it went to Ohio and up till now, sine the 13th of Sept, it was never rerouted and doesn't show any updates

The second one is still in isc new York. Stuck there since 13th.

I've called usps 4 times. They were of no help.
I've tried calling isc new York. They never pick up the phone e.

My people, if you have money. Never ever ever ever ever ever use nipost /usps to send mails.
Sometimes they work fine, sometimes they could frustrate the living daylights out of your system.

I have to request new transcripts and mail with courier. Please who knows a more affordable but reliable courier service?

SAMadex11: Please anyone here to help? How is US embassy verify personal Bank statement?
Why are you bothered.
Do you want to use oluwole or what?
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by bbdd: 6:19pm On Sep 16, 2014
Yeah
Had to chip this in.
Sending of transcript to the US costs just N500
I just realized there's a woman at airport that has been cheating me.
When a hausa woman attended to me last week i realized the correct price.
So anyone going there should insist on paying that and not 1000+ because the rest is entering their pocket.

registered mail. 2 weeks delivery time(sometimes less).
bless

godG: We are on the same page. You just have to get it, man. 2 days ago, before my dad accepted, he was like, "Dude, are you kidding me?! This is huge!" I later explained to him that all I have to do is maintain a good standing.

Bro, talk to people.
Yeah I get.
That's not even the issue. I'm afraid if I submit that form with a statement of account, that's what will appear on my i-20 rather than an assistantship. And that would be going against what my department is telling me to do.
The thing just get as e be.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by bbdd: 9:17am On Sep 16, 2014
Guys please I need advice.

My department has promised to fund all applicants with Graduate assistantships.
However when I completed my application to the graduate school, the international admissions specialist said i should submit a statement of financial backing before he can admit me and forward my file to the department for approval. I don't have the money stated on the form.

Now I emailed my departmental chair about this problem and he said I don't need to submit a bank statement and that all I need to do is sign the empty form and return it back to the graduate school.

Now the guy in graduate school is insisting on the bank statement while my department is insisting I don't need it.

I don't know what to do now to clarify this matter. I'm tired of mailing the grad school guy. Its as if I'm disturbing the guy.

Guys please what steps should I take.
Thanks for any input.

bigfrancis21: You ought to know that schools vary in their admission requirements. If you really want to apply to the school, then go ahead and submit the immunization form. I suppose they are only doing this because of the recent Ebola scourge in Nigeria and I wouldn't be surprised if Ebola test will be among one of the required tests.

Since you will still be submitting an immunization form to a school ultimately on arrival you might as well get the immunizations done now, send a copy to this school demanding it and keep the original for final submission. Photocopy the originals and keep for yourself as reference. Very important.
i thought so too. I'll take the shots then.

THANKS MAN
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by bbdd: 7:11pm On Sep 08, 2014
Pls house is it the norm to do immunization as part of admission requirement?
I thought it's only done after admission prior to enrollment.

I don't know if i should go ahead with the application because It's just a back up school.

Thanks
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by bbdd: 4:44pm On Sep 08, 2014
Guys.
A school is telling me to send immunization form as part of admission requirement not even after admission.

Is that allowed?
I know schools tell students to submit immunization requirements after admission prior to enrollment. I've never heard of them asking for immunization before admission.

What do you guys think.

launrey: Hello. Please could you tell the those of us who want have to send our WES translated transcripts what the step by step procedure is and how much one should budget for. You will do us a lot of good.
Thanks
Well pretty straight forward
Make sure you apply pretty early before your deadline

Apply pay the fees(about $300), then ask your school to forward the transcript to wes preferably through courier. Although I used Postal mail from nahco (NO MONEY TO SPEND)
Then when wes verifies the transcript and certificate you sent , they will send the transcript and certificate photocopies back to your school.

That's where the delay sets in.
Naija schools can waste time with verification
But mine was fast because they use email verification which is the best.

After that they give you a date for the verification and you're done.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by bbdd: 6:57am On Aug 23, 2014
slimmy05: Correct. Gun for PhD bro. Try and aim high in your GRE, target fall 2015, more funding are always available.
I won't rewrite
I mailed my admission officers and they said my high gre verbal score and high toefl score (113) aswell as my GPA are more than enough to offset any quantitative blip.

So I'm going ahead with the application
Thanks for the encouragement my brother
It is well with all of us

But most of the delay was during the postage of mails.
Did verification via email.

HealthRe: First Case Of Suspected Ebola Discovered In New York City, Usa!!! by bbdd: 8:52am On Aug 05, 2014
9jawear: Where has EBOL been all this while that SUDDENLY it appears some unsurmountable catastrophy? There is always a ploy to make Africa look HELPLESS and DESTITUTE for some reasons best known to them. AND THEY ALWAYS WIN!

Talk of MALARIA! At what point did we AFRICANS become helpless victims of MALARIA in Africa that EURO-AMERICA now have to be where we must get MALARIA DRUGS from? Damn! We were living and thriving BARE-CHESTED when the first European Ship arrived on the shores of DINA (Elmina) 1471 and we have historical account of what happened to Europeans who came. For over a century they were coming and dying like sick chickens. The so-called MISSIONARIES were dying like diseased chicken on arrival from MALARIA, some as early are as two weeks! Later all they had to do was to humble their ego and allow 'NATIVE DOCTORS' to treat them with HERBS!

WE NEVER DIED FROM MALARIA!!

So, so..when did we lose our intelligence as AFRICANS and got hooked on to the CHLOROQUINE and now ATER..what-what? Aren't people now dying from these drugs?

WHY HAVEN'T I TAKEN ANY OF THESE DRUGS at age 31 (all my lfe)? I still take the herbs I saw my grandmother use and the wisdom is DON'T WAIT TO GET MALARIA before taking it.

So, there so must Media Hype and exaggeration over this ANTWERP-MADE Laboratory Virus clled EBOLA in Africa. Can someone SHUT off that and allow us some senerity of MIND to think out our solutions? No, they won't because it's all part of the MARKET CREATION PROCESS!!

It's like when you have Maths question before you to think through and ONE IS DRUMMING AND SINGING in the class!!!

IT IS NOT THE EBOLA THAT IS KILLIN PEOPLE, IT IS THE MEDIA SPIN AND NOISE THAT'S FRUSTRATING US FROM PICKING THE SOLUTION!

In ancient times, the HERBALIST took a lonely walk in the dead silence of the dawn on his search for cure. The mind requires silence in its search for solution!

ALLOW AFRICA TO THINK ON ITS OWN!!f it's food THEY CLAIM we need, they will FORCE GMO on us. If it's Security they claim we need, they'll force War and Military bases on us. If it's cure they claim we need, they'll force drugs on us!

It's no genuine desire to SOLVE AFRICA'S PROBLEM! It's a greedy QUEST to 'commodify' and commercialise our challenges FOR PROFIT!

AFRICANS AND NIGERIANS SHOULD WAKE UP
Africans! Always looking for who to blame
Did the white man tell you to eat monkey's and bats?

godG: I know that. Now that I know that To Whom/Statement of Results (how we call it in Ife) is OK, I think I'm good. Thanks, bro.
Oh ok.
It is.

The recommendation thing though. Im doing 7 schools. Now tell me about that stress.

One thing is this and I've told myself over and over.
I don't care if the lecturer can't press a keyboard.
Im getting my recommendation.
Simple and short.

Get like 5 lecturers and disperse it among them
They hardly say no to these things.
So if you have like 5 you can just share if among them so they don't feel like you're disturbing them or something.

nugeseda: It is within the realm of possibility that the dreaded ebola virus was engineered in a Western country laboratory and guidedly deposited in an African country with the certain hope that it will spread through Africa to destroy our population regarded by the Western country as being too high! In essence,it might be a drastic population control measure by Africa's enemies!
See why Africans don't have sense.
Always conjuring up stupid illiterate comments.
Do you think ebola started today?
It's been there since the 70's
And came about because primitive Africans who you refused to blame eat bats and monkeys.
Natural reservoir of the disease.
