Romance / Re: I'm In Love With A Married Man. by bbdd: 10:15pm On Sep 22, 2015
VICTORIA91:
Dear NL,

I'm 25 years old, I met this guy online via chatting and before i knew, we met and we fell deeply in love. This guy is irresistible when we met and i never prayed for something more, because he was so caring, lovely and loving, not only that he is so tall and handsome as i have always prayed for. After a month we knew each other better and every minute i rang him up, he later told me and revealed to me everything about him, because he is not the flamboyant type of guy, i hardly notice that he is loaded.

At age 33 he has a lot of properties and work with a Ministry in Lagos, seconded employment with one int'l institution, he got me int'l passport and took me out of Nigeria shore for the first time in my life. I am from an average family and I'm not easily moved with material things, I'm a working class lady earning moderate salary and living well, i had a relationship before him but not a stable one.

He later revealed to me that he has something to tell me that might tear us apart, i made up my mind since it would not lead to my death, i bet i have reached my bus stop, because he is also in love with me. What a perfect match!. Until the day he bursted it out that he is married with kids and he was sweating and breathing so restlessly, waiting for me to breakup with him, i reassured him i will still love him at that, he explained he impregnated the girl and his family forced him to marry the girl...in short, three kids, two boys and a girl from the woman,(first boy and a twins).

I almost fainted, but pretended as if all is well, at least he still managed to tell me to let me decide to continue or not. We both continued and this month make our 6th month and he is already talking about our marriage, he tried divorcing the first wife, but get warned to let her be to make peace reign, i noticed he loves me so much and also loves his children too well too. He is traveling out soon to study for his PH.D. He wants me to get pregnant for him and do the needful with my family and declare his intentions of taking me as his second wife to his first wife and family...But at this stage i have doubting mind maybe i'm ready to go on or not..i don't feel like ruining the woman's home, and i don't feel like losing this my sweet love, he is not forcing me and he wants me to decide for myself....

Please help me dearies, abuse are allowed at least maybe it will straighten my brain..but i sincerely love him, he promised to settle me down in another state and assured me that all will be well. The issue is i'm so CONFUSED.

You want to reap where you did not sow.
Nonsense homebreaker.
You see money , you dey trip. Tall and Handsome my foot. Nonsense upon Rubbish

Travel / Re: Why Are White People ''expats'' When The Rest Of Us Are ''immigrants''? by bbdd: 6:43pm On Sep 22, 2015
bigfrancis21:

From spending time with some whites, I have come to see things a bit from their own view. Most white grew up exposed to mostly African Americans as black people and grew up believing that blacks, aka African Americans, are representative of all black people worldwide until they come across immigrant blacks from Africa (Nigeria, Ghana etc.) and they get shocked that black people are equally as capable as whites, thus shaking the very root of the white supremacy belief deeply ingrained in them since childhood. There are many whites who have no problem with this and readily accept capable people. However there are some whites would rather prefer to live in denial rather than accept a capable black person as equal. Then there are some whites who have issues with a black person (especially black man) being smart or challenging their views (especially if the white happens to be wrong in that respect). This category of white people expects you as a black person to be dumb and allow him or her be the smart one and never challenge what they say or praise their words as 'smart' or 'intelligent'. It is as if they EXPECT you to fit into their tiny illusive box definition of blacks as somehow dumb and have a problem if you don't fit into their category. This is especially more pronounced in the work place or office. And as a smart black person, especially smart black man, expect your intelligence to be poked or 'tested' all the time.

Living in the south,
I get this all the time. Southern whites sort of expect a black man to be dumb by default do they're very intrigued (sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way) when they see intelligent black people from Africa.

It shocks them to their core. I had a discussion with a man who was wrong BTW and when I cornered him in the conversation, the only thing he could come back with was an insult to Nigeria.
I just laughed.

Sub- Topic :How do married women whose husbands are in diaspora cope sexually?

Having heard how some women lament how their husbands have been in diaspora for years, I feel compassion for them and to think that they are not better than widows beat my imagination.

The average married women rather die than cheat especially if she is Christian and wouldn't give in to adultery.

This is quite logical, spiritual and emotional. Is there an exception to them?

What do you think? (Mature Contributions)

Why are you specific about women whose husbands are in the diaspora.
There are lots of other instances. Diaspora seems far fetched to me.

Anyway to answer your question, this is a problem for long distance couples. It's a fact. I chatted with a white girl recently and I asked her if she masturbates and she said " who doesn't".

Public Health

It's actually not easy getting finding for public health especially first year.
This is because mph courses are now being treated as professional courses by many schools. And we know professional courses are cash cows.

However, you can find many schools through SOPHAS that offer tuition rebates. But FULL funding in the true sense of the word is rare for mph.

If you need several other pointers, I'll be happy to help.

good evening people I've been in the quandary of the course to pick as my first degree undergraduate course, as I cannot be admitted directly for law in the USA.......I'm wondering if you guyz might wanna help me out in evaluating which course is best as a first degree between Philosophy Psychology Political Science or Computer......thanks, I'll be so happy if u guys can help me out, really confused and stressed out embarassed

Psychology(Especially Clinical psych )and computer science are good in the states
Political science and Non STEM fields....Not so much. Congress really doesn't care about Non stem fields because there are lots and lots of Americans in those fields, while STEM fields have very few Americans so they need foreigners to fill the quota and keep the US as a top player in technology.

All this depends on your preferences of course. Just giving you the career prospects(Surface level observation of course).

I've learnt to ignore so many pple on here. This was a girl that contacted me out of the blue via email..Telling me she was coming this Thursday to Houston if I could come pick her up at the airport and help accomodate her for a few days..which I found no problem with.I adviced her since you going to be studying and staying in Houston I have a free masters bedroom which is currently empty..I told her it will go for 500usd a month light and water inclusive in the 500..She told me 500 is much, that is there not one below 400 that is there work she can do in Houston to pay bills,I said no work, you need legal documents...,I should send her the pictures of the room. I told her I would walk round the house later and send her pictures I just came back from work,it's 8am,ive been awake all night working.I sent her couple of messages till today she never replied..Where did I go wrong?Telling me God pass me..This is a girl,I'd wanted to introduce to my girlfriend cause my girl attends Texas southern university,so that she will feel at home..Since,helping someone on this thread is a crime now...then it needs to stop.
