Now i know some of you are not actually wise. If this show is actually scripted, then from the look of things, it is scripted for Cee-c to win. Why keep people who are best of friends and evicting those close to Cee-c. what was the rationale for keeping Alex last week, when she was suppose to go with Rico. Biggie should be made to know that we feel they are skewing this show favour a particular housemate. ............... But we are going to vote harder to realize our aims. .......................... Miracle for the Money.

The show is not about winning in reality, Bisola is better than Efe today but she didn't win. It is about creating a platform to showcase your talent, from where you leverage on whatever you have projected yourself to be. We both know that the longer you stay, the more time you have to prove yourself which linearly translates to the opportunity that awaits you after the show. Biggie on my premise despotically favored Alex and Nina... It is so unfair

Evicting Lolu is total fraud, it is a dent on the integrity of the show. It confirms my suspicion of the show being scripted. I'm tempted to stop voting because Lolu was unjustifiably evicted, but on a second thought, I think CeeCee, because of her loyalty to Lolu is deserving of the money

CeeCee has my votes

If you want to be smart by half na you sabi, if you want to be a hater, it's your choice but you will not tell lies against Igbos without us puncturing your garbage.

1. Yoruba also fought against June 12. Abimbola Davies was the chairman of Association for Better Nigeria (ABN). Nzeribe was a member. ABN was the group that went to court to declare the election null and void before IBB finally scuttled it.

2. An Igbo man organised a March for abacha but Abacha's number 2 man Oladipo Diya was from where? Abacha's minister of justice Olu Onagoruwa was from where.

If you want to point hypocritical fingers you will get double pointed right back at you. Do you know the input that Igbos made towards the struggle for June 12? Don't get me started

I dislike back and forth argument, the point here is clear.

Igbos massively voted against a Yoruba man(southerner) and we didn't shout betrayal

What's now their headache with who Yorubas voted for in the last election?

Before they criticize, they should look at the mirror first. They started it, when the table is turned, they cry blue murder

Whenever an election approaches we see yorubas on NL posting all manner of silly propaganda threads that they think will somehow paint Igbos in a bad light. We have permanently damaged their 1966 coup lies now they want to use June 12 elections grin

Igbos fought for Abiola's mandate just as hard as yorubas did. It is on record that while some yoruba elders and intelligentsia were sneaking into aso rock to collect envelopes from abacus and betray their son, some Igbos stood firm with Abiola till the very end.

Like the Igbos in Abia, Imo and Enugu?

Like the Igbos that organized one million man match in solidarity with Abacha's government?

This thread is an expose, thanks to the op for bringing it up

Point 1, Igbos didn't think of Southern unity when they massively voted against a Yoruba man.

Point 2, it was freedom of choice for them because Tofa was a Nigerian...which is very good

Igbos logic:::

Yorubas are betrayals for voting against a southerner in 2015

It is treacherous for the Yorubas to have exercised their freedom of choice in voting Buhari, a Nigerian

Inference ::

Hypocrisy of the Igbos

To those out there moved by the subtle e-blackmail of the Yorubas by the Igbos, this thread is for you.

After digesting the content of this thread, which before now, I wasn't aware of, I can't categorically state that southern political unity is a mirage, unrealistic and unachievable.

Igbos should count Yorubas out of their support base in their quest for the presidential seat whether now or in the future

Okay. But I used the drug rightly as prescribed by the pharmacist yet my catarrh remained. It has never happened to me before.

Okay, but we have different degrees of catarrh, the mild, the moderate and the severe one. If your catarrh is not mild or moderate, the simple antihistamines would not do the work. You need something better.

Maybe you need a xylometazoline nasal spray with a cetrizine tab

There are so many fake medicines in circulation nowadays. Just few days ago I bought a medicine to treat cold and catarrh, the medicine no work at all. The thing just be like say I no dey take anything.
We all know how medicine for cold and catarrh suppose make person feel sleepy. This one no change anything for my sleeping pattern. After I finished using it, the catarrh still dey there kampe.

It is not always true that you must feel drowsy or sleepy after taking catarrh drug, there are catarrh drugs that are non sedating.

My comment is not in any way to water down the fact that fake drugs are in circulation.

That being noted, you might have used the drug wrongly, or you didn't complete the the required dose that should have taken away your catarrh

Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gun powder, the recent events are scary, we are radicalising the younger ones not to see anything good in Nigerian project. How do we harmonize our differences to make a better nation?

America started developing when Hispanics, red Indians Jews, Black Americans saw each other as true Americans. They started developing when American culture became their culture, they started developing when they realized that poverty doesn't discriminate between religions, they started developing when they realized that natural disaster could not differentiate according to their ethnic divides.

When would Nigerians realize that we didn't choose our region or religion? When are we going to stop discriminating people against what they couldn't have changed?

When are we going to bury the hatchet and embrace oneness? Funnily enough, our brothers in UK and US will carry placards with inscriptions such as "Black lives matter" "We are all born equal". But same set of Yankee activists will be instigating their brothers and sisters in Nigeria against the unity of the country, they promote chauvinism under different guises. If your own life matters in US, why does the life of a man that is not from tribe in Nigeria matter less to you?

It is in the interest of South East pdp leaders to support the chairmanship aspiration of SW, if SS eventually picks the slot, VP position won't be automatic for SE. Some SW leaders are clandestinely promoting Secondus, they are eyeing the VP slot.

SE should wise up

Health / Re: Yes, It Is Not Impossible. 'AA' Can Marry 'AS' And Give Birth To 'SS' by BBPIA(m): 9:48pm On Jul 15, 2017
sainty2k3:
YES it is not impossible, couples that are AA/AS can give birth to SS , this is how
1. let me differentiate between haemoglobin genotype and haemoglobin phenotype
To get a particular GENOTYPE you have to do a genetic testing or use two or more of the screening test (the conventional electrophoresis that we do + HPLC or other similar test) to confirm the true genotype while hb PHENOTYPE is the appearance /characteristics of an individual haemoglobin on conventional electrophoresis which we loosely refer to as GENOTYPE
Most times when we call ourselves AA,SS,AS we are actually referring to our Haemoglogin PHENOTYPE and NOT GENOTYPE, as most of us don’t do genetic tests, all we do is haemoglobin electrophoresis
2. lets explain the concept of thalasemic trait. Thalassemias are quantitative defect of haemoglobin which means some one can be AA but the one or both A in this person is is absent otherwise known as thalassemia minor and major respectively. If such person run haemoglobin Electrophoresis( the test that we always loosely regard to as genotype) only A band will be seen and such a person will be regarded as AA. But they are also prone to anaemias and some certain abnormal features in the blood depending on the degree in the reduction in the defective A . such individuals can be Aβ-Thalassaemia(otherwise known as thalassaemic trait) if one of the’ A gene’ is normal, or β-Thalassaemia major if both are affected
3. lets merge the two concepts above and form AND SEE THE DIFFERENT PHENOTYPE THAT EXIST AND THE POSSIBLE CORRESPONDING GENOTYPE
If PHENOTYPE is AA the likely GENOTYPES will be AA , Aβ-Thalassaemia
If PHENOTYPE is SS the likely GENOTYPES will be SS, Sβ-Thalassaemia (MEANING THE OTHER ‘A’ THAT WOULD HAVE MADE THIS AN ‘AS’ IS TOTALLY ABSENT) Others might include SD,SG etc though these are very rare
If PHENOTYPE is AS the likely GENOTYPES will be SA (NOTE – ‘S’ COMES BEFORE ‘A’ BECAUSE THE A IS THALASSAEMIC, THOUGH NOT TOTALLY ABSENT AS THE ONE ABOVE ,IT IS SUSBSTANTIALLY REDUCE), or truely AS
4. Lets assume this our hypothetical couple have Hb eleterophoresis done and was told that the genotype of partner 1 is AA, and that of partner 2 is AS ,but the one that is called AA is actually Aβ-Thalassaemia as ealier mentioned. There possible offspring include
I. AA, If the child inherit the normal A from partner 1 and another normal A from partner 2
II. Aβ-Thalassaemia ,If the child inherit β-Thalassaemic A from the partner 1 and normal A from partner 2
III. AS,If the child inherit normal A from partner 1 and S from patner 2
IV. Sβ-Thalassaemia If the child inherit β-Thalassaemic A from partner 1 and S from partner 2
Note that scenario I above will show AA on Hb electrophoresis, scenario ii will show AA on electrophoresis, scenario iii will show AS on electrophoresis and scenario iv will show SS on electrophoresis
I have tried to simplify the medical terms but if you still have a doubt or clarification ask and I will try to shed more light, as much as I can.

Politics in Nigeria is about loyalty to one's employer, patriotism to our country has long been eroded. To Sagay, Buhari is always right no matter what, To Melaye, Saraki is the next thing after God. And to the gullible followers, ethnic affiliation and our political leaning remains a cog in the wheel of our objectivity.

Sagay is a private citizen, no matter how stupid his comments are, once they are not treasonous or inflammatory enough to cause ethnic distrust thereby promoting national disharmony, he's entitled to them.

If you are a patriot as you always claimed, then you should not support a man whose lack of economic ingenuity has plunged us into the worst reception since independence.

Nigeria fought a civil war, there was no recession. You think it's a coincidence the two recessions we have witnessed in Nigeria is under Buhari? It has to do with his capacity and capability.

Accepting one's mistake is not a sign of weakness rather, it is a sign of strength. Buhari was our collective honest mistake, we should see it as that and not be too blinded as to be defending the indefensible.
