PoliticsBREAKING NEWS- Boko Haram Guns Down Five Persons Playing Cards In Gombe by bcomputer101(op): 3:54pm On Feb 24, 2013
Suspected Boko Haram sect members last night shot dead five persons they found playing cards in Gombe, Gombe State. Severalothers were also seriously injured. Aside from the five that were confirmed dead, ten victims are reportedly in critical condition from bullet pellets that pieced their bodies. A security source told SaharaReporters that doctors in area hospitals were currently battling to save the lives of the injured.

One of the survivors disclosed that the sect members came on bikes chanting,“Allah Kubar,” then started firing at the group of people playing cards at an area called AngwanBagadaza. A security operative confirmed the incident.
Our correspondent learnt that people around the scene took to their heels on hearing the spatter of gunshots.

Several eyewitnesses said that the attackers wore traditional flowing gowns. They also disclosed that the armed assailants escaped immediately after the attacks before the arrival of officers of the joint task force that patrols Gombe town. SaharaReporters learnt that the joint task force members launched a manhunt for the suspected killers, arresting one suspect.

PoliticsPDP Crisis: Obasanjo’s Men May Back Opposition In 2015 by bcomputer101(op): 7:41am On Feb 17, 2013
The
crisis
in
the
Peoples
Democratic
Party
is
set
to
take
a
turn
for
the
worse
as
party stalwarts loyal to former President
Olusegun Obasanjo have decided to have a
showdown with the supporters of President
Goodluck Jonathan.
The latest development follows the party’s
decision to sack senior party officials known
to be loyal to the former President from its
National Working Committee.
SUNDAY PUNCH’s investigations showed that
the removal, announced on Friday, shocked
the former President and his group.
The leadership of the PDP had on Friday
sacked loyalists of Obasanjo in the National
Working Committee. The Bamangar Tukur-
led leadership is known to be loyal to
President Jonathan.
Those sacked included the National Auditor,
Mr. Bode Mustapha; and the National Vice-
Chairman (South-West) Mr. Segun Oni.
The PDP also announced its recognition of an
Ogun PDP faction bankrolled by a
businessman, Mr. Buruji Kashamu. The
Kashamu faction is led by Bayo Dayo. The
party failed to recognise the faction led by
Senator Dipo Odujinrin, which is backed by
Obasanjo.
SUNDAY PUNCH gathered that the consensus
in the Obasanjo camp was that the recent
actions of the PDP leadership were targeted
at the former President.
On Saturday, the Obasanjo faction said it had
concluded plans to write a petition to the
highest organ of the PDP, the National
Executive Committee over the matter.
Speaking at the end of a four-hour meeting
of the members of the Obasanjo faction of
the Ogun PDP in Abeokuta, the sacked
Odujinrin said the decision by the party’s
NWC was also “shocking and
predetermined.”
“We received with shock the pronouncement
of the National Publicity Secretary of PDP,
Olisa Metuh, in the newspaper. I found it
very disturbing because we saw the signs
during the week when we observed that J.K
Gadzama (SAN), issued a notice of
discontinuance of the appeals against the
court cases which Metuh referred to as
reasons which the committee used to take
their decision.
“It was very obvious that the appeals were
going against the Kashamu group. If the
appeal had been heard, the whole situation
would have been different but in order not to
allow the appeal to be heard, that was why
the NWC withdrew the appeal suddenly and
was now able to use the ruling that was
subsisting in taking their decision,” he said.
Odujinrin said the Obasanjo group had
decided to take its case to the highest organ
of the party, the National Executive
Committee.
“The NWC is not the final authority. We are
PDP bona fide members. That’s why we are
appealing to the NEC. We are law-abiding
people. We could have gone to court like
some people. Our constitution requires us to
explore all mechanisms internally before
going to court. We are preparing a petition
and an appeal to the NEC which will be
tabled before their next meeting,” he said.
Odujinrin stressed that the NWC decision had
further polarised the crisis-ridden party,
warning that it could have negative effects
on its electoral fortunes in future elections.
“I don’t think that this is how to ensure
genuine reconciliation; this has further
polarised the situation. The fact that the
appeals were withdrawn smelt suspicious.”
He added that his group would “take another
decision” if the NEC upholds the NWC
decision sacking his executive.
A top member of the Obasanjo camp, who
pleaded anonymity because the faction was
not willing to reveal its strategy, told one of
our correspondents that the ‘other decision’
Odujirin spoke about was for Obasanjo’s
camp to support the opposition in 2015.
“We know all these are targeted at Obasanjo.
But if the situation remains as it is now, the
PDP should forget Baba’s support in 2015.
“In the months ahead, Obasanjo will
intensify consultations across the country. If
the President succeeds in getting the PDP
presidential ticket with Baba’s rivals in
control of the party, he (Obasanjo) will have
no option but to back opposition candidates.”
Besides the sacking of his loyalists, the
former President also lost out in the South-
West caretaker committee constituted by the
leadership of the party.
As a result of the changes and appointments,
a former PDP Deputy National Chairman,
Chief Bode George, and an ex-Ogun State
Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, have
regained lost grounds in the South-West PDP.
George and Daniel were estranged from
Obasanjo, their godfather, while he was in
power.
Our correspondents report that not one of
Obasanjo’s loyalists is in the 17-man South-
West caretaker committee constituted by the
PDP NWC on Friday.
However, George, Daniel and Kashamu have
at least one of their supporters in the
committee.
For example, the Secretary, Mr. Pegba
Otemolu, is a loyalist of Daniel, while the
Organising Secretary, Mr. Adedeji Doherty, is
said to be a strong ally of George. An ex-
officio, Seun Adesanya, is a known supporter
of Kashamu.
One of Obasanjo’s supporters, who spoke
with SUNDAY PUNCH, on the grounds of
anonymity, said when the group saw the list
of the caretaker committee, it came to a
conclusion that some people were bent on
pushing Obasanjo out of the PDP.
However, the Senior Special Adviser on
Political Affairs to President Jonathan, Dr.
Ahmed Gulak, denied widespread speculation
that the changes and appointments were
targeted at Obasanjo.
Gulag said this in a telephone interview with
one of our correspondents, in Abuja, on
Friday.
He said, “It is just natural that people are
struggling to be party officials but not
everybody can be a party official. So, there
must be the principle of give and take in
every given society.
“The right thing to say is that PDP is one
united party and it will not lose sleep
because of any of these merger talks. Action
Congress of Nigeria plus Congress for
Progressive Change, plus All Nigerian
Peoples Party is equal to APC less than PDP.”
He insisted that there was no friction
between the duo, adding that the size of the
PDP made it impossible for every member to
become a party official.
He said, “I don’t think there is any friction
between Obasanjo and Mr. President. There is
none. This is the handiwork of mischief
makers and a section of the media that
always wants to see the negative side of the
PDP; that is my belief.
“There is no friction. The PDP is a very big
united party and in a party as big as the PDP,
there are bound to be challenges and
divergent interests and we are working round
the clock to see that we remain united.
“PDP has gone into much more crisis than
what you are witnessing. It is because the
party is the party to beat. It’s the party that
everybody wants to belong.”
When contacted, the PDP National Publicity
Secretary, Mr. Olisah Metuh, dismissed the
speculation that the party was after
Obasanjo.
“It is a court decision. It has nothing to do
with former President Obasanjo,” he said.

by the electoral body. INEC said APC remaind
a political association.
Major opposition parties — the All Nigeria
Peoples Party, Action Congress of Nigeria, All
Progressives Grand Alliance and the Congress
for Progressive Change — had recently
announced their merger to form APC.
The Chief Press Secretary to the INEC
chairman, Mr. Kayode Idowu, however, said,
“The last report I had was when they (APC)
said their merger committee was at work,
trying to draw up a logo and trying to
finalise the name.
“By law, we do not expect APC to come to
INEC. The political parties that are fusing
into another party will individually and
respectively come back to INEC, notifying us
that they are fusing into a party with a new
identity.
“Because there is no party with the APC on
INEC’s record, nobody called APC can contact
INEC. But ACN can contact INEC to announce
its merger with APC. Each constituent will
issue a notice to INEC; attached with the
resolution in their respective conventions
approving matter. It is the notice that will
prompt INEC to recall their individual
certificates and issue a joint certificate.”
He however said none of the parties forming
APC had yet to take the step. “I am not even
aware that any of them has called a national
convention,” Idowu added.
When asked if APC could be regarded as a
political association, he said, “More or less,
yes.”

Goldie Harvey's Manger's Statement

Goldie Harvey,Nigeria's Female Pop sensation is alive and not dead as speculated by most online media platforms including Linda Ikeji's blog.

Goldie's manager,TeeJay who disclosed this in a tweet stated that it was untrue as her client was still hale and hearty and attributed the story to the works of her enemies.

Linda Ikeji had retweeted a tweet supposedly by Goldie on her handle @goldieharvey and later posted the rumour on her blog and said she confirmed it from Denrenle,Goldie's friend.
She had said,Goldie went into a coma and was later taken to Reddington Hospital,a top health care provider in Lagos after her arrival in Nigeria from Los Angeles, where she attended the
Grammy Award ceremony.

But the report turned out to be untrue as the management of the artiste became furious about the report and denied it as false.

RomanceGuides You Need Before Running Into Wedding. by bcomputer101(op):
No one wants to be surprised to find that their new spouse has a serious drinking problem or is a complete slob. There are certain fundamental issues that need to be resolved before two people enter into a marriage. Until you've lived with someone for a while or been in a long relationship, it's hard to know almost everything about them. Open the lines of communication and have a series of heart-to-heart talks about the things that matter most.

Religion
How important is your fiance's religion to him? It's important to be on the same religious page as the person you plan to spend the rest of your life with. If one of you is religious but the other isn't, conflict will likely arise regarding the wedding. Later on, once you have kids, the question of raising them in a church or temple will cause conflict if you have different ideas about religion.

Bad Habits
Is your fiance a slob? Does he drink too much? Is gambling his weakness? Find out whether your fiance has any bad habits that you won't be able to live with. Discuss them openly and come to a consensus regarding the habit. But be careful: even if he promises to change, don't count on his word for it. Make sure the change has been made before tying the knot, or you may find yourself married to his bad habits for the long haul.

Children
Does he want children? People rarely change their minds about this issue, so don't marry him if he wants eight kids and you have no desire for even one. Similarly, even if you both want children, do you agree on how to raise them? If one of you believes in spanking and the other is completely against any form of corporal punishment, can you come to an agreement for a compromise? The time to consider religion, discipline and parenting philosophies is before you marry him and begin having children.

Health
Is your fiance healthy? If you're a nonsmoking exercise machine and he's a chain-smoking couch potato, you will likely have some conflict in your marriage. Likewise, what can you expect in the long run? Does he have a long family history of cancer or heart disease? Does he take preventative measures to avoid the same fate? Health issues should not preclude you from marrying the man you love, but knowing ahead of time what you can expect will save a lot of worrying later on, and will help you help him live a long, healthy life.

Money
How does your fiance handle his finances? If he's saddled with debt, it will become your debt too, once you're married. If he's thrifty to the point of being cheap, and you like to spend money on luxurious items, you can bet there will be conflict in the marriage. You and your fiance will need to talk this through thoroughly and come to a compromise to keep the peace. If one of you is an excellent saver, perhaps the other can give you a certain percentage of his or her paycheck to put away each month. If one of you is a prolific spender, work out a budget for spending and stick to it. If you're both terrible with money, make an appointment to see a financial planner before you tie the knot.

Skeletons in the Closet
Does your fiance have a secret life? Find out as much as you can from him about his history. If he has an ex-wife and two kids living in another state, you need to know about this now, not later. His skeletons may not change the way you feel about him, and most of them shouldn't, but keeping important secrets from each other is a certain death knell for your marriage, which must be based on honesty and respect in order to work.

Interests
How important are his personal interests, and do they match yours, at least a little? If he's an avid hunter, you will likely be alone a lot during hunting season. Are you okay with that? If he's a sports fanatic and you can't name even one major league team, be prepared to plan events around his sports-watching schedule. It's not necessary--in fact, it's not healthy--to have the exact same interests, but knowing ahead of time what he's fanatical about will help you cope with any obsessions once you're married.

Family
What is his relationship like with his family? His conflicts will become your conflicts. Likewise, if he's still very attached to his mother, expect some difficult years ahead as you struggle to be the number one woman in his life. How he handles his relationships will clue you in to how he will handle his relationship with you and with your children. Pay attention and watch for any red flags, such as petty grudges and disrespectful behavior toward his family.

Temperament
Does your fiance have road rage? Is he way too complacent about things he should be concerned about? Having similar temperaments is ideal for marriage. If one of you handles stress by shutting down and the other gets frustrated and upset, you will have rough times ahead of you. Pay attention to his attitude and how he handles himself in difficult situations. Keep in mind that changing his temperament will be virtually impossible, and what you see is what you will get in marriage.

Style
Look around your fiance's personal space. Is his baseball cap collection the focal point of his living room? Is he willing to have his bad taste relegated to a secret room in the basement? Discuss ahead of time how your house will look once you are married. If you can't abide the wagon wheel coffee table, tell him so. If he's unwilling to part with it, you may need to learn to love it, or expect some serious arguments over furniture and decor

PoliticsNigeria Needs A Stephen Keshi Now! By Simbo Olorunfemi by bcomputer101(op): 4:07pm On Feb 10, 2013
By Simbo Olorunfemi
"The trouble with Nigeria is simply and
squarely a failure
of leadership. There is nothing wrong
with the Nigerian land,
or climate or water or air or anything
else. The Nigerian
problem is the unwillingness or inability
of its leaders to rise
to its responsibility..." - Prof. Chinua
Achebe.
Whatever the result of the match between
Nigeria and Burkina Faso on Sunday, the
point has been reinforced - the problem
with Nigeria, simply put, is that of
leadership. The challenge that confronts
us is that of leadership – one with a
developed mind of its own, unmoved by
the shenanigans of an ignorant, boot-
licking sections of the media, yet
vociferous and always seeking to arm-
twist leadership into going the wrong
direction. What is lacking is a leadership
that is resolute enough to proceed on the
strength of its foresight and conviction to
do what is right. A leadership not
overwhelmed by the need to dance to the
populist tune of a less-than-
knowledgeable mass with claim to
expertise on subjects they know little
about. A leadership, daring to push the
people on a track it had designed with the
objective of taking the people to the
promised land. A leadership strong
enough to fly on the wings of its well-
founded conviction, damn the nay-sayers,
and go down on its dagger, should the
outcome not be favourable.
Stephen Keshi has always stood out for
his sterling leadership qualities. A man of
unmistakable charisma, the 'Big Boss'
started making his mark, from his days at
St Finbarr's College, Lagos. As the Captain
of the famous NNB Football Club, Benin
in the 80s, Keshi soon became an integral
part of a crop of an NNB-dominated
national football team. In a twist of fate,
the late arrival of the Stephen Keshi-led
group of players from NNB to the Green
Eagles Camp resulted in their suspension
by NFA for 6 months from all football-
related activities in Nigeria. But that was
to open another vista for him and his
generation of footballers. He left for
Ivory Coast and from there, for Europe,
opening the gateway for other African
players to make a career of football
abroad.
It was in the national team, however, that
Stephen Keshi's leadership was more
evident. For 14 years, he bestrode the
Eagles like a collosus. He was not called
'Big Boss' for nothing. He was powerful.
He was influential. He was reported to
have had input in team selection, at that
time. Whatever was the case, you could
not ignore Keshi. He had a mind of his
own.
It was for the reason that Keshi was his
own man that it took the Nigerian
football administrators so many years,
until their hands were forced into giving
him the opportunity to serve as Head
Coach of the national team. They knew
him as one they could not push around.
He had served meritoriously as an
Assistant to Shuaibu Ahmodu (another
man serially wronged by Nigeria, in spite
of his tireless work for the national team,
qualifying the team for the World Cup
two times, only to be shoved aside by the
Administrators on both occasions.) The
no-nonsense stance of the Coaching crew
that led to the suspension of Victor Agali
and others at Mali 2002 for breaking
camp rules was instructive. But a
compromised section of the sports media
was not for that effort to instil discipline
and worked to see Ahmodu out of the
door. His major sin – not exactly media-
cuddling.
It is no surprise that Stephen Keshi, with
a single-minded approach, has built the
present Eagles team, away from the
orchestrated campaign to undermine his
efforts, on the backbone of discipline,
character and right mental attitude.
These values, he is pushing, that have
long gone AWOL in our national life. Is it
a surprise that not many saw the sense in
what Keshi was doing? In his own words,
"... there were lots of problems back home
when I left out some of the senior players
in the team, but I had my own reasons,
which are known to me only... I know
that some people did not understand, but I
knew exactly the type of players we
wanted, the mentality, the players who
can work for the team." In only 5 weeks,
he has been able to build a team of an
otherwise indisciplined set of Nigerians
that has some semblance of unity of
purpose, unlike teams of the recent past.
Keshi proceeded with his work, in spite of
distractions from detractors and beer-
parlour analysts who always seem to
know more about football than those who
are professionally involved with it. The
Administrators' body language was all
too obvious. In any case, they had only
reluctantly fallen back onto Keshi
following the monumental failure of the
favoured son, Siasia. Not a few felt they
were only waiting for Keshi to fail for
them to bury him. The report in the
papers last week only confirmed the
known.
But Keshi beat them to it. He kept to his
plan, a joker to his chest. He was man
enough to identify the strengths of Daniel
Amokachi, who has proved fearless with
his thoughts and voice on football, just as
he was a rampaging bull on the field. He
expressed his preference for Keshi as
National team Coach, even when it was
politically incorrect and inexpedient to
do so. A good Leader is never afraid to
surround himself with strong men.
Keshi opted to give the home-based
players a chance. He inspired them,
shored up their confidence and
incorporated them into his main team.
The 23-man team to the Nations Cup is
made up of 17 debutants. There are not
those names that easily roll off the
tongues. Same Nigerians who had, before
now, called for 'fresh legs' and home-
based players were not impressed. He did
not decorate the bench with the new boys.
He made them core members of the unit.
Oboabona and Mba are first team players,
even though they play at home. The
Captain of the team, Joseph Yobo, has
spent more time on the bench than the
field of play. Keshi has not played names
or reputation. He has proved himself a
Leader not given to nepotism.
So, what has Keshi done differently that
has made him succeed, where many
others have failed? What is Keshi doing
that the political leadership not doing?
What stands out in his style of
leadership? What does he bring to the
table that Nigeria can learn, given, as we
have, on the wings of Chinua Achebe,
submitted that leadership is the major
problem facing Nigeria? Here are some :
Keshi is not a product of some good luck.
He has, for a while, sought the job. He
considered himself qualified for the job
and did not wait on some benevolent god
to ordain him for it. He prepared himself
for it. The knowledge gathered from his
mistakes and misfortune have prepared
him for the position. When the Abuja
gods would not nod in his direction, he
got his hands dirty in Togo and Mali,
gaining valuable experience that has
become handy in his march to the Nations
Cup final. He has not built a team based
on quota system or embarked on a
vendetta mission. He has remained
focused, refusing to be distracted by
rabble-rousers. He has not been
capricious, but dedicated and deliberate.
He did not need to set up committees to
address what common sense will easily
lead one to do.
Keshi was confident enough to build a
team in line with his own template. He
built a team, and did not simply assemble
an array of stars to jostle for shirts with
bulging ego-pips on their hefty shoulders.
In so doing, he has succeeded in instilling
discipline, forged character and harvested
commitment from the team. He was not
afraid to pick and drop players. His team
is not made up of nominees by Governors
of the 36 states and party stalwarts. He
was not afraid to pick raw diamonds and
refine them for his use. He was not afraid
to lose his job, by risking it all, and for
that, he has gained it.
Nigeria needs a Keshi. A man who is not
only prepared for the job, but has the
wherewithal to inspire, stand his ground
and build from the ground up, even in the
face of cynicism. Nigeria needs a leader
with a roadmap on where he wants to
take us and is ready to stick with it, see it
through, irrespective of criticism by those
who do not know and do not know that
they do not know. Nigeria needs a Keshi -
a man who is not afraid to appoint strong
lieutenants, one who is not intimidated
by paper tigers mouthing jaded jargons
borrowed from templates handed down by
Bretton Woods institutions, but can see
original thought and locally-grown
solutions for what they are. Nigeria needs
a Keshi that is charismatic - inspiring his
people, engendering a camaraderie that is
necessary for teamwork and nation-
building. Nigeria needs a Keshi - a man
ready to lose it all on the strength of his
conviction. A man who will be ready to
lay down his life so Nigeria can have hers.
Nigeria needs a Keshi - a man whom
Nigerians might not believe in until he
dislodges the formidable forces of Ivory
coast that seems invincible to all and
pulverise the Mali of poverty presently
running riot in the land. When Nigerians
are convinced they now have a Keshi, they
will be willing to back him, all the way,
in running over the Burkina Faso of
stagnation that has held the nation down
for over 50 years. Nigerians need a Keshi
now. This is the hour for our own Keshi.

PoliticsKano Killings Confirm There Are Terrorists Amongst Muslims, Sheik Gumi Says by bcomputer101(op): 3:12pm On Feb 10, 2013
Well-known Islamic cleric, Sheik Ahmad
Gumi, this morning said that Friday’s
killing of nine women polio vaccine
workers in Kano confirms the presence of
terrorists among Nigerian Muslims who
are misinterpreting Islam and carrying
out evil acts.
In a statement sent through social
networks, monitored by SaharaReporters,
Gumi described the killings as a sad,
abominable, barbaric and evil. He blasted
the ‘scholars’ and politicians who
frighten the common people against
vaccinations and polio, describing them
as the true killers.
The cleric recalled that even in the old
Northern Nigeria, people were all
vaccinated against cholera, CSM,
smallpox, BCG, measles etc, and that
nobody raised any alarm at that time.
“How can then today, people that are
neither specialist in Islamic Law nor
specialist in Medical sciences go public
with such a fatwa in clear contradiction
of the Quran?” he asked. “It means the
Quran doesn’t pass through beyond their
throat. Let us assume, they have the rights
to their ijtihad, but that does not give
them the license to kill innocent people
that see otherwise? When do you kill
people on suspicion?”
He asserted that the killings incident
confirms there are true terrorists among
Muslims and that because of their
shallow understanding of Islam they have
turned out to the greatest enemy of Islam
and the prophet – alaihis Salam.
“In a Hadith the Prophet said there will
come a time – in the end of time- when
some youth who are apt to reciting the
Quran – but will not pass their throat-
will be killing Muslims. Today, you just
need to disagree with them, then you
become their hit target. Subhanallah! The
Ummah has to wake up from its slumber
and fish out these evil people. The prophet
– peace be upon him said: “if people will
see a transgressor and don’t clamp on his
two hands, Allah will soon engulf them
all with his chastisement” Abu dawud.
Only the people can cure this evil.”
Delving into the Koran, Sheik Gumi went
on: “Jabir narrated that “we went out on a
journey and a man among us was hit by a
stone which cracked his skull then he had
a wet dream to which he asked his
companions for fatwa whether there is
any ease or concession for him to perform
the sand ablution (tayammum). They
said: we don’t find for you any concession
so long you can use water. He then bathed
with water and died. Jabir said: when we
came back to the prophet –peace be upon
him- he was told about the incidence. He
said: they KILLED HIM, MAY ALLAH KILL
THEM! Why didn’t they ask if they don’t
know, for the only cure for ignorance in
inquiry. It would have been ok for him to
do the tayammum and bandaged his
wound then dry rub over it and wash the
rest of his body” Abu Dawud.”
“Those ‘scholars’ and politicans –I am
saying it without resevation- that
frighten the common people against
vaccinations and polio are the true
killers. Allah said: “When there comes to
them some matter touching (Public)
safety or fear, they divulge and spread it.
If they had only referred it to the
Messenger, or to those charged with
authority among them, the proper
investigators would have the knowledge
of it from them (direct). Were it not for
the Grace and Mercy of Allah unto you,
all but a few of you would have fallen
into the clutches of Satan.” Q3/83.
He stressed that only learned scholars and
specialists in every field of endeavor
should issue a fatwa, particularly in
specialized fields, noting that anyone
who issues a fatwa which leads to the
death of others is also directly responsible
for such death.
With reference to vaccinations, he said
that only experts in virology,
immunology, pediatrics, as well as
principles of Islamic jurisprudence,
working together, can give such a fatwa.
“So far, all the Muslims countries except
for some intellectually inconsequential
individuals or extremists organizations
have unanimously accepted the
vaccinations including polio as beneficial
in prevention and cure of disease,” he
said. “Prevention of disease and the
seeking of cure are entrenched in Islam.”
Quoting Prophet Muhammad, he said,
“Every disease has a cure so when the
medicine affects the disease the patient is
cured by the leave of Allah the Al-
mighty,”
Sheik Gumi drew attention to the
acceptability of vaccination in other
cultures. In Saudi Arabia, he said, it is a
prerequisite that a child present his 1st
year vaccination certificate before he is
registered in school. “With all the
scholars both Islamic and medical experts
in Egypt, there is no scholar of repute who
denies vaccination,” he stressed, adding
that many rich Nigerians now go to Egypt
for medical treatment.
