The federal government has successfully evacuated the first batch of Nigerians stuck abroad amid the coronavirus pandemic.

On Wednesday, 256 Nigerians arrived in Lagos from Dubai on an Emirates Airline flight.




The Emirates flight is expected to be the first of at least two other flights scheduled to evacuate Nigerians within the next few days.

According to the foreign ministry, discussions are ongoing with British Airways to airlift 300 Nigerians from London on Friday; arrangements are also being made with Ethiopian airlines for a flight from New York to Abuja next Monday.

Over 1,000 beggars on Tuesday laid siege to the entrance of the Lagos State House of Assembly at Alausa Ikeja and the Governor’s Office to protest undue harassment and their arrest by officials of the Lagos state government.

The rate of pressure our youths face is becoming too ALARMING, to the level that, majority of them has given up their blood to satisfied, relatives both immediate, extended, friends and society still not yet to satisfy them after giving up all within them,even their blood, the majority of them assume position before the time, like, motherhood, fatherhood, breadwinner without having a foundation of such positions, they are left with a lot of responsibility to shudder with nothing left for them to leverage on as a refill thereby their strength is sap off. Then our kings sit and wait for parents to die then he will INHERIT, spend the money since they don’t know how to spend it, someone needs to teach them how to spend that money, all is entitlement mentally and even more.
