Is it the FG that caused the poverty in the core-North or a wicked section of its elite?
Blame shifting is a dangerous game to play.

You should investigate how to chunk bytes.

TheShopKeeper: Sir, yes a contract might have been signed, nevertheless it doesn't stop the government from negating on its promise to pay up.
Will you be prepared to wait for 5months for payment, knowing that you have various overheads that needs to be covered.
Even to pay federal government workers, the government is having problems.
This is a sure indication that the government is a business-killer.

BTW: I'm yet to see any shadow of the subsidy buses on our roads.
Payment terms are always an intrinsic part of any contract. So long as terms have not been broken, the suppliers should keep quiet and deal. Its straightforward.

If you ever sign a contract, make sure you understand it; there is no space for emotional crap after signatures have been taken. From that moment, its the gentlemans thing or the law court, there are no grey areas. It is highly unprofessional for companies to join in the usual Nigerian train of loudness and chaos, like they do not have a clue of what a contract is.

There is no reinstatement. Why do 9ja's love rumours?
All that has happened is an NJC recommendation, which I believe the President will ignore (especially as the IGP has reopened the MTN telephone saga - more heads will roll cool).

Politics › Windstorm: NEMA Alerts South South States To Get Prepared by Beaf(op): 9:00pm On May 10, 2012
Windstorm: NEMA alerts South South states to get prepared
By Our Reporter

STATES in the Southsouth yesterday got an alert from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). They are to get ready for severe windstorms as predicted by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) to avoid casualties.

The agency issued the warning in a statement issued in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, by the agency’s South South zonal Information Officer, Mr. Roberts Ekemini.

NIMET’s 2012 rainfall prediction shows that the 2012 rains in the South-South region are likely to be characterised by heavy windstorms.

The Director-General of NEMA, Alhaji Muhammad Sani-Sidi, said the essence of the NIMET prediction is to prepare the states and their citizens for the natural disaster, the statement said.

This is from your own post:

Itsekiris are of very mixed ethnic origins (primarily of Yoruba (Ijebu, Ilaje,Ondo and Owo), Edo, Urhobo, Ijo and Anglo-Scottish and Portuguese descent) and are today mainly Christian (Protestant and Roman Catholic) by religion.
Now, sod off. You are irritatingly ignorant and loud.

Stop being stup!d. You asked which Delta state groups pay homage to the Oba of Benin and the Itsekiri's do. cool
Please, sod off.

Arosa: Remove Itsekiris from that list. they may speak yoruba but they have edo blood in their veins. another edo tribe that speak yoruba are the Usen peeps.
Itsekiri's don't even speak Yoruba. Just like German and English, they share 30% of their words, which will be similar to Isoko/Urhobo and Bini.
If an Itsekiri man speaks, Shymmex (who most likely cannot even speak a word of Yoruba) will be lost. He will at best strain to count a word or two, just as a German would strain to count a word or two of English.

Please, try to avoid me when you make your stup!d comments. Ok?

It is a miracle how anyone could take my arguments for the common man against a governor as "attacking people." Did you smoke that "sontin" in the NURTW garage? shocked

If you want to be a thug on behalf of the governor that refused to pay rent, why not go to Abuja to face the bailiffs who are throwing his furniture out? They might give you an eye pop'n physical "warm up" to last the year. Lol!
Politics › Re: The Correct History Of Edo? by Beaf: 1:18pm On May 10, 2012
PhysicsQED: With these titles one can usually find a root meaning that explains it though.

In the case of Edo you have ogie which means prominent/exalted/honored and it comes to designate a chief, acquiring a second important meaning.

In the case of Oba for Yoruba the root meaning is possibly father or it's something similar to the case above.
You could be right in that case. Perhaps Eweka brought it with him. But have you cleared that with people who a deeply steeped in ancient spoken Yoruba?
There is always the possibility that the name is neither of Edo nor Yoruba origins. It could even be Nupe or something.
Politics › Re: The Correct History Of Edo? by Beaf: 1:13pm On May 10, 2012
Arosa: Nice one, But seriously the implication of this is that, at the reign of Oghene, the Isokos, Urhobos and edos where one people. undecided
Practically all Urhobo and Isoko groups have Edo ancestry. Up till today, practically all Delta state ethnic groups maintain royal ties with Benin.
Isoko and Urhobo are classed as Edoid languages.
