This is a wretched case of things being stretched to hang the cat. The US has it in for Nigeria, we can expect more of the same sort of embarrassments until the country begins to take on the toga of a failed state.
I can't blame the US (probably Obama who wants the best out of his black roots). Its time for us to shape up.

huh? shocked
Exactly! Just say Nigerians; or if you must have fellows, then say "fellow prisoners".

It has been 49 years of steady improvements in our "nations" ability to normalise chaos.
We have a "nation" can bomb its own citizens when there is no war, after 49 years.
After 49 years, an everlasting ASUU strike is alright, in a "country" that one day hopes to develop.
A "country" that after 49 years of wretched existence; still produces astonishingly corrupt "governments", yet has the guts to talk about vission 2020.

We should be celebrating that we are another year closer to absolute meltdown; only then will we be able to stand on the ashes of the current counterfeit and build on true national foundations.

o9999:
@Beaf,
Now you call it illogical,

Do u stay in the ND? or more do u even stay in Nigeria?
Do u really know who has been benefitting from this fight since?

Forget about logic now and face realities,

If u say what i have posted is wrong, give 2 examples of what contradicts it.

The bottom line, is that a few rich are using the masses to get richer, in the end, the masses will suffer for it,

Now, who and who are being kidnapped? (the poor masses for ransome of as low as 10, 000, yes criminality is involved NOW) but how can you differentiate b/w the criminals and the freedom fighters?

You call it illogical,
Is it logicall to kidnapp the guy constructing the road u ply on everyday, unless he pays a certain amount, he is not allowed to pass with his equipment? if he does not pass with it, how does the road get constructed?

THIS is what is happening. For someone to mount an electric pole our my street, he has to pay 'US' else we will not let him do so.

The question is, who will benefit from that electric pole?
The whole street or just him?

My dear, start living in the reality at hand NOW!
you shld have asked, is this really happening rather than call it illogical,
Your first post accused ND people of stupididity in many words. so stop dodging about, answer the simple question I asked; is it your opinion that ND people are stupid?

@ Udezue  & Only Truth

I only turned 22 like 3weeks ago so am not rushing for a husband!!!  angry angry angry

My dad is Not Delta Igbo -- He is from Sapele!!!

My Fiance is Yoruba But His Mum is from Imo state (Ngor Kpala)

I Dont Mind The Mixture--- There is Nothing wrong With It!!! The Family Is One Big Mixture-- Lol-- Cos My Big Brotha Is Married To A Calabar Gal,

The Point Is That We Love & Respect each Other!!! Our Tribes Dont Really Matter---- Although We Tend To Say Things Like-- Hmm Dis Is Your Yoruba Behaviour or How Everyone Jokes About My Bro's Wife Lucky not to be a housemaid and so on!!!  Its all Jokes grin grin grin grin

Its Wat You Get Wit Educated and Exposed Ppl---- Tribalism Is Not Importaant --We Are Rather Concerned With The General Wellbeing, Growth & Wealth Of The family as a Whole!!!

Your case is settled then. Your support lies in both ND and Biafra (answer to your ancestory). Your fiancee will have little choice but to accept and comply.
These are crucial times.

People like Adeboye are the reason a lot of blinded xtians participate in extreme evil, all the while somhow deluding themselves that they engaging in some bleeped up "divine will". There are even nude churches these days.

Wise up.

If there was law, Nigeria would be a great country. But the very roots of the framework are shaky, so nothing can ever work and there is unending chaos.

That is why some of us are fighting to either get out of the place or at the very least, reinvent the whole concept of Nigeria so that we can all live in harmony. It is better to live in harmony than in unending chaos.

Don't give up, its actually good you're on NL.

I sort of figured that (you were shocked on another thread when I mentioned how we are always at gunpoint in 9ja). keep close to your people, its good you're on NL then.

This is a warning to any genius in Nigeria. Leave fast!
Your "country" does not value you. If you remain, your family will have you on suicide watch, there is no prison worse than having your mind locked up!

If you have brains, then for the sake of your health, leave Nigeria while you are young and do it quickly; or you will end up bleeped up.
