egift: Jonathan understands the issue of SNC. But most of his sycophants here do not. Because once the conference is Sovereign, even Jonathan will not have the power to change any agreement reached. Jonathan have said he can only agree to a National Conference. Which is nothing but a glorified committee. Why don't you just allow GEJ plot the way toward the conference instead of telling lies? |
jason123: ^^^Bitterness! ![]() |
nakedall: Just ask yourself, is there any black country on this earth that is develop? then amalgamation is not the issue here but primitive way of thinking. There are several black developed countries in the Caribbean. Countries that are of African origin and led by black people. Come with another trick, bro. |
jason123:Lol! Is that why you claim to be Itsekiri from an Ijaw village? Please explain! Comedy! |
DivideUs: actually 99.99% of the country wants your oga to wake up!! and about 100% dont want to be in nigeriaNo, you are scared and think you can hide it under sophistry. If 100% of the people didn't want to belong to Nigeria, there would be no country, there would be no people wishing the Green Eagles and Falcons well, nobody passionately watching our efforts in the Olympics. Yes, you are scared of the people and an SNC. Be real about it, the people want a nation they can belong to, not a piece of land that is exploited by a few. Talking is the only structured path forward, even if we are to split. |
ezer: I gez some people (alj harem, divideus...) do nt understand d meaning of SNC. @kobo, ur words are indiscernible...u know wat buhari statement caused last year, yet u prefer to tag GEJ's statement treason over Buhari's. @op and kobo, lemme put it this way; wat IF the british knew nigeria wud bcom a failed state, and they still went ahead wit their intentions cos of their selfish interest. Wud it be wrong for d president to identify the mistakes made by the british and proclaim it? Or shud we live on the mistakes because it was made by the british? Note the conj. IfThe unfortunate truth is that 90% of our politicians are only too happy to use the tools the British left behind to enslave the people and suck them to death for their selfish benefit. It is fear of the loss of their tools of oppression that is causing many here to raise their voices, twist words and even lie. |
ballabriggs: Thank you my Brother. How can the C-in-C of a diverse armed force such as Nigeria's make such a divisive statement. A statement that could divide the military which he commands thus risking a mutiny. The man is more intelligent than this and should wake up!Escapism. |
shymmex: Who cares about how you feel, just stay in your lane.. I only comment on issues about Nigeria, or probably blacks in the UK.. You won't see me talking about Jamaica to Jamaicans - nor American to African Americans... Heck, I don't even comment on issues about the UK, the country - despite living there all my life... I know it's not my country - and my opinions don't count... You should do the same, JAfrican! If you live in a tiny World, why try to include those who can see beyond the walls? |
DivideUs: we r not india and pakistan, and when we go, trust me i will want nothing to do with ya region, to prove it to you i'll export my almajiri stuff through cotonou or lomeYou don't want to talk, because you are scared stiff. I understand. But it won't be for you to decide when the time comes, cos 99.99% of the country wants to talk and forge a structured way forward. |
PhysicsQED: I don't understand how this is even a thread, or on the front page. Buhari is talking about dogs, baboons, lions, tigers and bears like a parable giver, but GEJ is addressing reality and talking like a human being in plain English yet sophists are straining to make his words have whatever meaning they want them to. Ridiculous. Its the unfortunate reality of todays Nigeria where politicians who thrive on the status quo of chaos, see quick win personal gain in fanning the embers of our disunity (even if it means innocent deaths); they call think their primitive approach "opposition." Naturally anyone who wants to forge a real unity is their mortal enemy. The only way we can ever have a real unity is if we sit down and talk. Why are some scared shiitless of the prospect? |
jason123: Dude, you always try to come across as if you know it all but the reality is that you don't!Lol! A thousand false "was it not you's" do not take away from the fact that you are a fake. You will always be bitter at being exposed as a counterfeit. How can an Itsekiri man come from an Ijaw village? Wonders! Face the topic and vent your childishness elsewhere, I'm too busy. Thanks. |
DivideUs: why in gods name will you want to sit down with us?Dude, do not be in any doubt; whenever we hold the meeting, it wouldn't be something the elite that keep your people down as almajiri's will be able to influence. It will be a people to people, heart to heart, almajiri to area boy, fisherman to cattle rearer, hunter to farmer discussion. Single word, "people." ![]() You can claim not to be bitter, but you sound it. Many Southerners too are bitter, the Middle Belt is bitter, the ND is bitter, the SE is bitter. Why pretend? It is best to talk before bitterness explodes. It is the mature approach to problem solving. Even if we part, why should we be like India and Pakistan, always at war? Do you know both countries where once one? |
jason123, I'm a little bit curious on why you and beaf are now kind of mortal enemies. Going by bolded, it looks like both of you share the same view. I also know you guys are Delta peeps, if so why the beef?
Jason is just bitter that I exposed him as a fake, pretending to come from Delta state to cause ethnic dissent. When challenged to name his village, he actually mentioned an Ijaw one! But is Itsekiri? ![]() How is that possible? He doesn't even know the place he claims to come from. Why make the absolutely ridiculous claims to be an Itsekiri who comes from an Ijaw village (Guiness Book of Records!)? Jason123 is alj harem. If you go through alj harem's posts here you will find the same constant rattling about "Beaf" like I'm sleeping with his wife or something. Its comedic anyway! |
DivideUs: not really, like every thing else nigeria, it will not work, if we want it done it has to be fast without i say - you say. again committee will do just fine, go round, know what the people want, start a referendum and set a date. finishReferendums are usually arranged by aggrieved parties. Since you feel aggrieved, you should be writing the UN not the FG (sounds quite ridiculous to get the FG to write the UN anyway). You sound very bitter indeed, don't you think it will be better to sit and talk about the cause of your bitterness? Why the fear to talk? |
MsDarkSkin: I agree. Beaf, don't stoop to some people's levels. Will try. Thanks. |
DivideUs: like someone said SNC takes time, and honestly i think its an avenue for you to lootLol! All I see are excuses to keep the country running as "usual." We need to sit and talk, bro. That is the only way to resolve problems. |
maybel: @OP, if u were to write O'L English exam now,u wud definately fail. I dont know if u ever passed it anyway. How can u conclude frm d statement above dat he meant amalgamatn of north and south was a mistake? Na wa ooo.Its funny the way people dishonestly twist anything GEJ says. The OP is notorious for that. |
jason123:Face the topic. |
ayobase: Beaf, pls do me a favour. Thanks for the advice, bro. Its just that so many of these people want to dump on individuals rather than face the topic at hand, because they lack the intellectual force (take note of the post immediately above for example). I'll keep it simple. |
DivideUs: hey goat or is it pepper soup, i dont give a rats ass about 1914, we are not same people and we do not have to pretend to be, but when a coward of a president cant come out and tell the country what he wants it really piss me off ok, we know what phuckers like you and your likes have been saying without a single reply from the govt (aniko prosti briggs, dokubo, clark etc) so this right here is another way of your coward of a BOSS to not say what he wants!!You sound mad, bro. Calm down. Do you not want the freedom to be able to talk your "treason" at an SNC? Why does an SNC scare the shiit outa yo hairy arse? Bloody awuf luv'n phuck and fan of the status quo. |
@DivideUs Oga, ayam still waiting o! ![]() Beaf: I'm a bit tired of this daft "appointment" and "oga" stuff. Are you guys so light brained that you cannot discuss without lying? |
The poor fool alj haram is obviously too thick to know he is being ignored. Must be the effect of chewing grass. |
DivideUs: dude must be a comedian b4 his appointment, you and your oga want out just as much as we do but unlike you we do not have govt resources, all we ask is that you take the lead and trust me, we will follow. the need for foreign help is cos of the lack of honesty from your dundee of a bossI'm a bit tired of this daft "appointment" and "oga" stuff. Are you guys so light brained that you cannot discuss without lying? Why are you status quo luv'n phucks scared shiitless at the mention of 1914? It takes a lot of low self-esteem to say you have no resources. What do you think the brains in people are? What do you think Japan has as mineral resources outside sand, yet they are the 3rd biggest economy. Dunce. |
Again: Why are the lovers of the status quo scared shiitless at the prospect of the re-engineering of our unity? Why does it freeze the brains of the parasites and boko haram fans amongst us? Why does the mention of 1914 make some pee themselves? Just asking. ![]() |
Diligence: Focus on the message, not the messenger! Truth hurts but must the spoken! That's how healing process takes place; retrace and reset!Simples. ![]() |
DivideUs: beaf aka nairaland/twitter SA, you can actually work on enough regional signatures (i'll work north for you) and have your ogas endorsement then forward to UN to oversee the break up in peace (through referendum). makes me wonder what in the world are you guys waiting for since we all know thats what you are working towardsPlease, be constructive. If you want out, you go to the UN. That fact that you've mentioned the need for foreign oversight shows that we need to talk about the mistakes of 1914. |
Did I not say shymmex was suffering from an inferiority complex? See how he is trying to pull racist moves against MsDarkskin, because she is trauncing him intellectually? ![]() |
4evergod3: Always being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine from GEJ. You go wound one day. Now GEJ is under pressure because of issues from 1914 just because he said it? Dude get a life. We have seen Heads of state and Presidents come and go and nobody mentioned 1914 as being a problem even if it was... Rather they chose to work around it and leave results which the populace could see and identify with but what does your Paymaster GEJ do? He plays the blame game just like you Porky. Pass the ball.Words of a dog and baboon, parasite and lover of the status quo. |
nagoma: We part in peace , a referendum can achieve that. sNC is a talking shop , will generate more tension and is a waste of time we all know what we want -separate from the enemy.Listen, bro. To be honest, we don't have to part ways (I've personally been all over the North and love it). We just need to be truthful to ourselves and create a framework to maintain that truthfullness. There are deep questions that need answering like: 1. What makes a person a Nigerian? 2. What are the rights of a Nigerian (child, adult, female, male)? 3. What is the contract of responsibility between state and citizen? 4. How does religion fit into nation discuss and governance? 5. How do we define equity? 7. By what parameters can justice be said to have been served? 8. Who owns mineral bearing lands? 9. Who owns mineral bearing waters? 10. What makes one a citizen of a state or LG? If we truly answer most of the above, the so called North-South dichotomy will shrivel away and melt into nothingness. If discuss and still find no reason for co-existence, then we can part peacefully. |
FILEBE: Goodluck, the most controversial president Nigeria has ever had. The guy is seriously under pressureHe is only "controversial" to lovers of the status quo and is only "seriously under pressure" due to the mistakes of 1914. |
manny4life: I won't neither however the problem is that though I'm worried about the foundation, I will defer to the structural experts who will discern the issue. Nigeria's foundation depends on 160+million Nigerians, and NASS is the right people to address such issues not president. If president went on air and told the people, WE HAVE A PROBLEM, not necessarily mentioning amalgamation, and ask the people to decide how they want to fix it, it's the people who will say it, and hold their NASS members accountable and not the president. Mr President can listen to the people and send a draft to Congress, THIS IS WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT, let NASS refuse it, now it's the people who want it NOT him.I really do not think the NASS is the place to hold a national conversation. 90% of those guys are only there to increase the bulge in their pockets. Even worse, under our current counterfeit federalism, the NASS, just like our governors and LG bosses are not accountable to the voters. So whose voice would they be representing? How do you use a rotten system to fix itself? Its not possible. bro. All along, GEJ has been dropping subtle hints of the direction he is following. I will list a few (tell me if you think the NASS would be useful in any): 1. Make the LG the center of development, not the state and divorce LG accounts from state govt accounts (governors kicked a mighty fuss against it). 2. Abrogate the land use decree (ostensiblly for agriculture). 3. Expand the constitution amendment committee to include ethnic representation. 4. Recent mention of 1914. Quite clearly, the only force that can tackle these matters convincingly is some sort of grassroots representation, similar to what we had with the selection of representatives for the 1979 constitution. Thats the only thing that willl work and free each and every Nigerian from bondage. |
@shymmex Stop using racist terms like "whitey." It just makes you seem quite an id!ot. It also would not take awy from your inferiority complex or the fact that you have no identity, cos you've never been to your village. |
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ... 90 91 92 93 94 95 96 97 98 (of 876 pages)

we are not working! its that simple, we don't want you and you don't want us, and for the record i am not bitter (not about you guyz anyways) i think my people will do better when free money stops coming to the governors, that way they have to be innovative in generating income, and my people will rise. its that simple.
