Nigeria's new reality is SE/SS + Middle Belt. cool
Ignore it at your peril. The door is open to the SW, but not to ACN.

Nchara: Can you define for me what many means here? Jmaine himself confirmed there was a general voter apathy in the SW, no? Of course a few voted for him in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and Ekiti. He lost to Ribadu in Osun and won in Ondo (Mimiko). Otherwise, the preponderance of Yoruba - if they mostly voted for him - in this forum will not be calling GEJ names unwarrantedly.
You have a point, but the fact remains that Yoruba's too voted for GEJ. This is especially apparent when you consider votes outside Lagos (where SE/SS ain't that many). Even in Osun where GEJ lost to Ribadu, the vote was very close.

alj harem: Dude don't waste your time because I know Jmaine is a "diehard GEJ fan" so I was just pulling his legs. Don't sweat it.

All I know is SW rather form an alliance with the North than the tribalistic Igbos down south. Fact !!!
The only wise member so far of your clown corterie, is Akanbi_edu. Go and read what he said again (even though that too is doomed).
Most of you love to live in a make believe World that has no absolutely bearing with reality.

Allying with the Buhari's, IBB's, El Rufai's and Atiku's is a fools game.

Oshare, mavo?

basher: From the comments I see on NL, its very easy to see why Nigeria has the type of leaders we have. A people deserve the leadership they get. Nigerians are the indeed very vile, evil, selfish, unpleasant and wicked people. Never will you come across such blind, unwarranted and unprovoked pure undiluted hatred, as is displayed on a daily basis. It's almost subhuman. God forbid!
It is subhuman.

Politics › Re: 2015: North Banks On S’west To Stop Jonathan ! by Beaf: 5:03pm On May 22, 2012
Nchara: What are the facts? The general voter apathy that you fortunately alluded to implies that people stayed away from the voting poll, yes or no?
If an insignificant number of Yoruba (which I supposed did) voted for GEJ why did the majority stay away?
Have you read any Yoruba here on NL who claim to have voted for GEJ? In contrast, which Yoruba here have you not read who has not had a bad word for GEJ, calling him all sorts of names and calling those who voted him in i.d.i.o.t.i.c? Do the i.d.i.o.t.i.c voters include Yorubas as well?
If a large swathe of Yoruba voted for GEJ (which I do not believe), what sort of people will vote a man in and then turn round to ascribe him to others? Is not that the zenith of double-speak and two-facedness? Consider that Tinubu proclaimed in public that GEJ won the election fair and square https://www.nairaland.com/717204/jonathan-won-april-election-tinubu. Although now he is singing a different song.

When I say Yoruba in this argument, I exclude Ondo where, I am sure, Mimiko led the LP to give GEJ a resounding victory. But then one state out of six is quite insignificant.
Dude, many Yoruba's voted for GEJ and many root for him. A few names come to mind, like jmaine (whom you are talking to), Werekpeleri, Lateef4me etc etc

You winshes only came on this thread to pull down the good work of a private citizen like yourselves. A man has taken an epochal step in Nigeria's development, but all you carnivores can do is scream in amazing ignorance at a totally unrelated issue. You can only speak like the agbero you are.

That is why when we give winshes like you easy homework, sweat starts pouring in volumes from your bald coconut heads.
Go and find out who Rilwan Lukman is, it will improve your lifes outlook before you fly back to your winshes coven.

What do you have to say about Akpevweoghene? Dunce.

This post goes to all other daft people.

You are just ignorant, bro.

Anyway, the barge belongs to a private individual like you. He has started small in the oil business and has continued to grow from strength to strength. That is what we should be hailing.

ANTITRIBALISM: No Tribalism, Delete Tribalism, Against Tribalism, Wipe Tribalism, Avoid Tribalism, Hate Tribalism, Erase Tribalism, Ignore Tribalism, Flush Tribalism, Reject Tribalism, Resist Tribalism, Sweep Tribalism, Terminate Tribalism, Condemn Tribalism, Oppose Tribalism, Fight Tribalism, Kill Tribalism and Bury Tribalism.
This is the most sensible answer to a daft thread like this that is food only for those like Gbawe who imagine that primitive sectionalism and bigotry can be wrapped in sweet words.

Are you on the street in Warri where the barge was launched?
Dude, what you see is the efforts of a private individual like you and I to bring development and employment by daring where others failed to tread.
If there were just a few thousand like the guy that owns FENOG, Nigeria would be a different place.

It is a shame the way many of you instinctively pull others down. Its a Nigerian disease.

Rewind...

Beaf: People like Gbawe continue to think that Yoruba people are not wise or can all be roped in with his bigotry. Imagine the amount of crap in the sentence below:

Gbawe:
There is no insistence on a Fashola Presidency in 2015 - especially if Fashola as VP to a Popular Northerner puts the SW in a good position of producing the President thereafter. The region, for all that has happened, may realise , despite the misplaced optimism of yourself and others, that it may be more expedient for the SW to position itself well for the future than to join the "non-negotiable" sabre-rattling of others.
Here, we have Gbawe crapping on Fashola as is the constant story with ACN keeping that guy on a very short leash. Every year of his first term was energised with impeachment plots from his ACN party, and now he is not good enough to run for an ACN presidency, rather that goes to Buhari, the lord of blood soaked dogs and baboons!
It is a line of thought that is as disgusting as it is borne of frustration. One that is as insulting to the SW as it is an attempt to impose a low grade piece of shiit as President, rather than a man of Fashola's quality.

The desperate awuf chasing game ACN is playing, only becomes more apparent with Gbawe's every post. Thank you Buhari for yet another gaffe, otherwise many would still be fooled. Imagine dumping Fashola for Buhari or Atiku?! Tufia!! angry angry angry

Lesson 101 of desperation and O-Duncehood:

1. Ally with those who regularly make calls for dogs and baboons to be soaked in blood.
2. Defend their statements like you are a dog gone mad.
3. In your awuf luv'n phuck calculations, forget that you are losing states like Osun and possibly Edo.
4. Start screaming your plans for 2015 in 2011.

Politics › Re: 2015: North Banks On S’west To Stop Jonathan ! by Beaf: 11:22am On May 22, 2012
Gbawe: Say what you want. Things are certainly not as simple as you think they are. Events have borne this out but you and others seem to deliberately prefer neglecting real occurences. Your continous talk about "incompetent Northerner" is distasteful and almost banal. It is as if , dogmatically, you think Fashola has to be a Presidential candidate for Yoruba folks to be interested in 2015. That is wrong. Running Nigeria effectively will best be achieved by a coalition of good guys in many strategic positions.

It would help also if the peace and political harmony exist also to facilitate this. No one wants to "shove aside Fashola". It is about looking pragmatically at what our very flawed system can accept. There is no point, for example, pretending we a politically sophisticated Nation . Absolutely no point whatsoever doing that.
Your useless party simply bullies the Fashola's and thrusts bushmen like Aregbesola forward. It is well known that ACN is going to put Tinubu forward in 2015 rather than Fashola.
In case you don't know, Fashola is the only interesting thing in ACN.

Keep lying, everyone can see how Fashola is kept on a very short leash with constant threats of impeachment. But you will tell us that it is PDP that has been getting ACN to launch impeachment attempts on Fashola. Or it is PDP (and not ACN) that has led the contant threats to "deal with" Fashola to keep him in line? If anything, PDP wants Fashola (and for his own protection against dogs and baboons, he will yield cool).
Politics › Re: 2015: North Banks On S’west To Stop Jonathan ! by Beaf: 11:00am On May 22, 2012
The good thing is that we are only in 2012, a full 3 years away from 2015.
By 2015, the Gbawe's and similar traitors/subversives/O-Liars would be totally irrelevant to the future direction of Nigeria. In fact, they would be in a drowning mans battle, because Osun would have gone to the PDP (possibly Edo too) leaving the traitorial ACN with just 3 or 4 states.

Nobody really cares about the Gbawe's (and other O-Liars) who are only in pain, because their desperation for awuf has seen them making alliances with the devil that calls for his dogs and baboons to be soaked in blood.

Gbawe, you will be totally irrelevant, come 2015. Make your noise now, only to fizzle out in foolishnesh like Atiku, its a familiar road.

Gbawe: Please explain your statement. Igbinedion, a PDP product, looted the State dry. Osunbor was rigged in to replace the looter because Edo folks rejected the PDP. When the choice of the people (Oshiomhole) finally gained his mandate, he robustly justified , with good performance, why Edo folks were right to reject the PDP.

Those who know their history and are balanced will know the PDP does not stand a chance hence the desperation of Anenih. If you genuinely wish Edo folks well then you will admit what is terribly obvious to everyone.
Both Igbenedions (father and son) are in ACN.

Anybaba: These ABOKI people are not serious. Who are they deceiving? First a supposed Yoruba man from Ogbomosho in Oyo state was arrested, today it is Augustine Effiong, an Islamic convert ! The question is when will this charade of denting the image of other ethnic groups in an aim to salvage the lost integrity, worth and value of the Nigerian Aboki endhuh? I challenge them to tell us the village and clan that Aboki man is from in Akwa Ibom State ! We are not deceived. :
Forget the long talk pally. They caught a Yoruba guy and have now caught an Efik guy, tomorrow, they might catch an Edo or Urhobo guy.

Several months ago, there was a security alert that boko haram was feeling the heat and desperate to switch from the almajiri type to educated Southern graduates or educated Northerners.
Today, we see the result. Southern Muslim extremists are now being put to damaging use by boko haram.

Unfortunately, most of us don't read and when we do, we do not pay attention to the details.
