This is why I keep asking people that if God is to judge us according to his standards for real, will anyone make heaven? Remember, sexual immorality is not limited to sexual act alone, staring lustfully at someone amounts to sexual immorality. However, it's time we stopped blaming pastors for not preaching this or that. The Bible is there and it's written in English. We can always refer to the Bible because in the end, it's not between you and your pastor, it's between you and God. |
Tell her your pastor said if you marry her, she will become an imbe*cile. |
You'd always need your B.sc if you need a good job. Get your B.sc and build on it |

Cutehector:Your posts are beginning to scare me these days |
She's pretty. Her only offence is the fact that she didn't recognize the wonders of push-up bra. |
Stay loyal and allow him bring home STD? Stay loyal and continue to suffer emotional trauma till you become a living dead? Stay loyal and allow the children learn from him? Best thing is to tackle the issue with Mr. Generous in a reasonable manner. Should he refuse to change his ways, it's better to be alone than to be with a wrong partner. Even the Bible permits divorce on this ground. |

firstolalekan:Aha! To you, my brother. To you, it's a man's world. I see a word where gender does not place restriction on anyone...and my brother, before God, all beings are equal. |
Her argument does not hold any substance at all as far as gender equality is concerned. Women can't impregnate men just like men can't carry a pregnancy. What we have here is division of labour where the woman is saddled with 95% of the responsibility. I see no reason why someone should think it's stupid for women to request to be respected, appreciated and given equal opportunity. I'm not a feminist but I respect their struggle...take it or leave it, there are women out there in their numbers who have benefitted positively from this movement. Moreover, no matter how good something is, there will always be a bad side to it, hence, it's no news some people are abusing it. If she wants to remain 'seen but not heard' it's her choice, I mean no one is forcing her to come out of slavery. Obviously, she's educated and can even use the social media, she can buy and drive a car, she can choose whom to marry and not forced into marriage, she can apply for and get employment...if she's really against gender equality, she should give up all these things, then she can say whatever she wants to say against feminism The day women start supporting women the way men support fellow men even when the cause is stupid... I'm afraid that day will never come. |
Hmmmmm.... Sharia law in Nigeria. Should it become a law, they'd be the first to bear the burnt as they are all renowned thieves. I'd love to see the so called Bala's hands chopped off. Jungle justice would become the order of the day. |
You guys should stop snitching ![]() |
I need not do any tongue twisting stunt before realizing I have it. My friends did a good job laughing at me and correcting me at the same time. Been working really hard on it and I'm improving. It's mother's tongue interference... Those of us who started out with Yoruba would definitely have it. IT'S NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF. If you can't correct it, own it...it ain't peculiar to this part of the world. An average French man can't pronounce The. Why do we always try to conceal our identity #just-thinking# |
