I'm not surprised, yet i'm shocked that the present Buhari Federal Government imports vehicles from abroad instead of patronizing Made in Nigeria vehicles such as INNOSON.

I remember when Peugeot Automobile of Nigeria (PAN) was in operation. The same Buhari as military Head of state bought all the civil servants and members of armed forces vehicles from PAN. Even when they merely assembled and didn't manufacture any parts in Nigeria. Many rich Igbo people bought the 504 and 505 GL and SR versions and seriously patronized the company.

What has suddenly made Buhari FG to shun INNOSON made in Nigeria vehicles? Is it because the company is based in Nnewi, Nigeria instead of Kano or Daura? You be the judge.

I also ask why the same Igbo millionaires that jumped over themselves to buy a mere 504 or 505 saloon car, are not buying the fantastic J-Wagon made by INNOSON? These are the types of things i speak about when i say our people are unable to act strategically.

The Igbo guy whose company was later given a contract by Government of Iraq to build mono-rail in the country said he had been begging the FG to build Abuja city rail and he was shunned. Yet DANGOTE is given all sorts of FG contracts even when he has no company or capacity to do them. Do you get the drift?
buhari isnt the problem even.

Believe me...if the 5 SE govs and their entourage use only innosson, it wont be long b4 even buhari himself will start using it.

Our problem is our lack of leadership in igboland. We call it republicanism. Lol
Politics › Re: . by Bede2u(m): 10:08pm On Oct 01, 2018
Kanu came brazenly and made the same mistake the 1st biafran leaders made. The goal towards eventual independence is in stages...if u brazenly jump one stage...u fail and die. Chikena.

We must fight to restructure nigeria and go back to regionalism with the 6 geopolitical realities.

If nigeria must divide, it must not be championed by the igbos...otherwise, u will see another gang up from the rest of nigerians which will kill our people some more.

Winners only fight battles they can actually win.
Politics › Re: . by Bede2u(m): 10:01pm On Oct 01, 2018
If we couldnt do it then when it was easiest to do. Wen we had a defined boundary, when we have leadership, when we had a military and when nigeria was weakest; it would be childish to think we can do it now without a boundary, without access to sea, without leadership and now that nigerian military has acquired deadly and effective hardware and software.

Wishful thinking is the last thing we should be doing here...otherwise we water down the thread.

Its always good wen a leader knows his real situation. Our real situation is that we have come to stay in nigeria. What we must do is make our stay best it could possibly be.

Thats is where Anioma state, igweocha state, regionalism and devolution of power comes in.
Politics › Re: . by Bede2u(m): 9:48pm On Oct 01, 2018
Britain intended for Nigeria to divide in future if it doesnt work as one nation.

If the biafran war was led by a man who was more strategic as opposed to brazen, we might have been biafrans today.

All the leadership of biafra had to do was cut the right deals and enter the right alliances

One could have been to offer the north a large chunk of our oil if they would leave the western region alone.

Two could have been to swear allegience to communist ussr who were spreading communist ideals all over the world.
Politics › Re: . by Bede2u(m): 9:46pm On Oct 01, 2018
This map of Nigeria from the 60s made me realise something....back then, there was no region in nigeria that was landlocked.

The river niger divided the eastern region and the midwest, thereby ensuring that the northern region has unhindered access to the sea through international water incase nigeria divides.

Ambode is far more sensible than to try that, he will rather fight for his political life in APC than PDP in Lagos.

Lagosians just don’t like PDP for anything. The same feeling you have for APC in Enugu is the same feeling they have for PDP in Lagos
just say yorubas dont like pdp in lagos.

Lagosians include people from many tribes bro

The Igbo had really suffered great victimization. It would appear that 70yrs later, we still suffer victimization. And to make it worst, we had Now for the first time lost a war, a humiliating One, in which we gave our best, which turned out not being good enough.

The Igbo spirit has been broken by the events of 1967-70, the fall out of this is the self denial and identity crisis we see in Igbo boundary areas and the the decay of the Igbo high moral codes, now replaced by alien materialism.

It would appear whoever is to replace Zik in this herculean task of Igbo reunity and renaissance, has more difficult job on their hands than Zik did.

But the good thing is that unlike Zik, this leader would have the benefit of hindsight and history to direct his actions. Zik had no such, and made many fatal mistakes, consequently.
And yes, we must not shirk away from this great responsibility of igniting African renaissance that Nature had bestowed upon us, by defying all forms of subjugation and suppression placed on our path.
i wont lie to u....if i am to lead the igbo nation, i will still only fight for a united igboland comprising of se and ss igbolands within the contest of one nigeria.

The reason are many.
1. The north will not let go of any part of nigeria without another war. We will still lose such a war unless we are in league with ss and sw.
2. If igboland becomes independent, we will now come to realise hw little we are within nigeria. Nigeria govt can place embargo on us..and nothing will go in or out of igboland because we are completely surrounded by nigeria.
3. There is a reason u.s is a powerful nation. The power in number and diversity can not be wished away. Nigeria has the number, diversity and resourses to be the most powerful nation in africa...a potential igbo nation lacks that.
4. As years go, igbos will come to dominate nigeria with time.

I will only wish that Anioma state can be created as south east's 6th state. And i hope it would also possibly include the non-ikwerre parts of rivers state so that with that one move, we would recapture as much igboland as feasible for south east.

I also wish for the 6 geopolitical zones to be recognised as the new regions like in the 60s, with full devolved powers.

In that way, igboland will be under the umbrella of south east and will be fully self-governing even if within nigeria. In that way, we eat our cake and still have it.

Why compare Abakiliki with Ibadan...Ibadan was a regional capital while Abakiliki is just a young state capital ....pls compare Ibadan with Enugu ...

Enugu was known as Athens resilient city the only one in Africa lately while Ibadan took the biggest slum in sub Saharan Africa

So next time compare wisely
i dont want to insult enugu by comparing it with the slum ibadan has become.
Is there any part of enugu that looks like this?

He will decamp and fight a ruling party at the national level

Lagos is cosmopolitan but any candidate preferred by Yorubas wins! That has never changed

You mentioned Court grin grin grin like you not aware this is Nigeria

When powers want to deal with you, Even the court will reject you
1st of all...a ruling party in nigeria has never controlled all states. Not ever.

2nd 'the candidate preferred by yorubas' is a fallacy. Nothing like that exists because yorubas didnt all come together to prefer one candidate. Just say tinubu candidates has always won. That in itself can possibly end in 2019.

Many current judges are not symaptetic to apc because of how buhari's dss treated them in 2015.

U might just be seeing the destruction of tinubu by his own hubris

Ambode has lost it all, The whole party is against him

If he decamps, that buries his political career

So best thing is decamp and fight to finish...if they impeach him baselessly then he can go to court like peter obi did.

Please can we discuss about this. How to conserve the land mass of the igbo nation since our population is big.. What measures do you think we should take
there is nothing really we can do.

I know igbo population is maybe 25 million highest. Forget naija inflated census.

SE is maybe 10 times larger than istanbul...and istanbul has about 15 million people.

Plus SE is inside the larger Nigerian land mass. We have enough land.

So we are good.

Everybody shouting davido this davido that didn't ask a simple question. Do davido have pvc? Did he vote like others during the elections? Someone that supposed to be in nysc camp, what was he doing in osun, is it part of nysc programs? Was he not romancing his girl on the bed when elections were going on? And many idiots here think he is doing all his tweeting and wailing because of osun people at large.
The boy knows that if his uncle wins , that is a plus for his future political careers. And the family enrichment and dominance continue just like many other political elites. Many idiots that never eat since yesterday will still keep supporting them on empty stomachs. How many of the elites family always vote or even have pvc?
By the time you realised that all, not few, all of them don't send you and they are doing this for their personal family interest, it will clear for your eyes. The law that applies for elites differ from that of common man on the street and will keep on like that as long as People especially youths continue to sleep and face one direction.
By the time davidos uncle win the election and he makes davido as a SSA on youth affairs, then you will understand what I mean. Upon all your support for them, what did you gain? If you are not part of his team, who are not even osun indigenes , that he shared iPhones for after a successful carnival, you should hide your face in shame. You have been used. Dummies that can't use their heads everywhere.
