Join me in thanking God, on the 8th Jan I held my princess in my arms. Though tru cs am very happy. Team jan...wish u all safe delivery. all the pushing mamas the Lord is your strength. Pls enjoy ur sleep now oh, cos baby dey different time zone.

Praise the Lord!!! The Lord that did it for you will do it for us too. Good news will be heard everywhere in this january. So happy! Waiting for your birth story oooo.

Please all, i've been having some sharp pains around my abdomen this morning,it goes off and on. I'm just wondering what could be the cause, my appointment is still in 2 weeks time. What can i do about it?

registered at general hospital igando. The last time I went there I wasnt attended to and I was 30weeks then. the last time I even had a proper clinic is when I was 26weeks.. my aunt that is a consultant said I shld go and register in a private hosp to be on d safe side.
will go there when im 36weeks to see what is happening there although I have really lost interest in d place

You can still go back there to check and ask if they do delivery during strike period so as to prepare. As me dey see this strike,we never know how the thing go be o. Please how do you clean your nipple?

mothers u guys are soo wonderful. wondering how miserable I wld have been if not for u guys on nairaland..im on bed rest, I cant sleep, to stand na war, to sit na war, to turn around on d bed without standing up first na war. my left side aches like mad, it seems like my LO is stepping on my chest if I sleep on my right side. Dehydration is killing me and I drink water like there is no tomorrow. .after that nko the rest room frequency no get part 2.
hmmm I don talk say I no go complain again.. im grateful Lord. im sorry for my rants. cant help it. im 34weeks gone..

Where did you register and are they not attending to you people? I registered in a general hospital too but they don't go on strike. Although it's just "mother and child " hospital. They do only pre natal and post natal in the whole hospital. Even when doctors were on strike, it didn't affect us.

baby's weight is ok. just pray he/she comes before ur EDD cos na fat d baby go dey add now. mine weighed 3.03kg @ 36 wks n was 3.94 @ birth. I was induced at 41wks. & dnt b afraid of episiotomy, dependin on d patience of d doc/midwife, u may nt evn get. i had one n didn't evn feel d pain cos my labour pain superceded it. it's healed perfectly n my ministry isn't affected at all. hope u av seen my explanation on how to use EPO?

I ve started using the EPO dearie. I don't even know why the thing dey bother me these days.

2.68kg @ 37weeks is equal to or less than 3.68kg @ 40weeks... if u r a first tym mum, an episiotomy wil b given by most hosp to aid delivery.. relax sis, God is in control

Yeah,im a first time mum. I ve started using EPO and I think I ve to start reading more on episiotomy.

Please mothers, I went for scan at 37wks and my baby weigh 2.68kg. Hope it's okay because I don't want my baby to be big o. I dey fear to tear pass labour sef.

The wrist pain was part of me thru out first and second trimester. Also had thumb pain too. But it went away and never came back in third trimester.

Now I don buy EPO and no one is ready to teach me how to use it. Okay o

also a mama (cant rwmember who ) ate plenty pineapple to hasten labour.
nipple stimulation is anothee one.
try walking more.

I read about pineapple too on babycentre.com and I ve started it, the nipple stimulation is a no no jare. And I'm still reading on the epo but I think I'm convinced with all I ve read and I will go for that tomorrow too. Thanks

I'm a ftm i don't really ve any experience but a friend of mine told me to get *ewe abiwere* when i'm 7mnth gone,dat it made delivery easy.I don't knw how true it is o,maybe u can ask pple sha.

I dnt just trust all this herb sellers. Make dem no go give me nonsense.

my dear, relax o. baby go soon show. dont b too desperate/anxious. tk frequent walks. walk up/down a flight of stairs for as many tyms as ur body can tk.

I live in a 2 storey building and the stairs are located in between the flats. They are so comfortable to do exercise on. So I ve started this already.
