Use the email address u used in booking the appointment and cancel it. Look for important reason to give them so they can allow you book another appointment when you are ready. Remember to cancel it at least one week b4 ur appointment date.

No, for student visa, you be required to collect your visa with a travel insurance, that insurance is different from health insurance that you will do while in Germany

Please, I'd like to know if it is a must to have a valid health insurance submitted with the application before a study visa can be issued by the German consulate.

I guess I would include the leave letter addressed to me from my employer like u did, I thought it wasn't needed.

Kindly note that I have been in correspondence (via mail) with a professor in that field for the past 5 months before I submitted my application. The professor had already accepted to take me as her student before I sent my application. Nevertheless, I hope it helps you.

akosh005: If u re working now, u have to submit ur employment letter, payslip, leave letter n ur own soa. Dis will tackle ur current employment situation and limited employment prospects. U will also need a convincing SOP.

akanni: sorry about that, you will need to look at the reasons for refusal though and cover those grounds before reapplying.What date did you submit your application by the way?If you can share those reasons, some of us could assist you with what you need to put right.

Reasons like travel history: which I have never left the country
Length of stay and purpose of visit
Family ties in canada nd country of residence
Limited employment prospects in country of residence
Current employment situation
Personal assets and financial status

My canada visa application has been refused based on the grounds that I haven't satisfied the condition I will leave canada after my program and related "excuses;" please can I still re-apply against a January start date and how do I put it right this time
