The Falconets have done well. After all the celebrations, I hope a detailed report will be submitted as to what happened in the final game against the Germans. This report will then be used for future competitions like the Female Soccer event of the 2012 Olympics in London. Baring any stupidity, the current Falconets Squad should form the bulk of the team that will represent Nigeria in London come 2012. We need to start doing things properly in Nigeria. Cheers.

So without penalties ghana wud not have even qualified for the 2nd round huhn

The President has made a good decision and I think FIFA has no reason to stop governments of nations from meddling into their country's football activities. The Super Eagles get their funding from the Federal Government and the government cannot keep spending money when they don't get quality football. Iam surprised at people shifting the blame from the Super Eagles. The Federal Government provided them with everything they needed and I see no reason why they couldn't deliver. The suspension from the President is best since it will give them time to get fresh legs and not tired legs like Aiyegbeni who saw an empty net and couldn't score. At a time when i expect people to applaud the mother church for maintaining it's traditional moral authority consequent upon it's high level of morals even at this trying time, they are busy pointing at some irrelevant issues. With over 1.1bn Catholics worldwide & with almost half a million priests, that we are not hearing these kind of stories everyday shows that God himself is in the church. The devil needs to be smarter, this one isn't a case. The Church would not be intimidated to yield any ground on her convinced stand on same intimacy marriage, Women priests, Birth control,, etc. If anybody felt shortchanged by some decisions of the mother church, let them not hide under any guise of useless blackmail to air their grivances. I will advice some of the commentators here to reflect on these before making comments. People should understand the world of difference differences b/w Rev. Fr Ratzinger and his Holiness Benedict XVI. It may surprise some of you that the church doesn't practice democracy. Any decision taken by the Pope concerning the church or even by a Bishop concerning his Diocese is not subject to debate by any authority let alone by some remote atheist.
