Pls house, For someone planning to assess with ACS, do they accept career episodes based on experience from IT/SIWES period, school projects? If Yes, are there samples anyone can share with me. Pls help a sister here. Thanks
Only Engineers Australia requires a CDR and career episodes I think. ACS only need you to provide convincing reference letter or if you want to go through RPL route.

omo guys am in hot soup i mistakenly submitted my assessment to vetassess with the wrong upload on statement of service abeg what can i do about this
I am not sure how their portal works now. You should be able to delete the document you uploaded wrongly. If you can't, send an email to vetasses to explain. It will be done for you to upload the correct one.

Please Guys am a graduate and really want to migrate to australia. An agent is requesting for 3.5M to get me a work visa with an initial deposit of 700k.
Am just confused and dont know what you do, if i should trust the agent or not.

3.5M for what? I don't think you need anybody to advise you to run far away from him because your money will go down the drain.

Without certificate in your technical skills, there is nothing you can do to migrate except through study visa.

@tyosho

I have tried r we reaching out to you via email, I don't what is wrong that I feel you don't want to communicate with me even giving you my number to call me because I don't have your. We just landed last week and am just confused. I just want to enquire about things here since you know most of things I don't know. I feel sad about things but I just want to let you know.

Thanks.
This is selfish you know.

Why not be patient and wait till she replied you. Do you know if she was dealing with something or at work that she could not reply you.

However, whatever information you need is at your fingertips. A simple Google search will solve some of your questions.

@Odundimple,

OAU is a tier 1 university.

All 5years courses are assessed to be AQF Bachelor's degree.

However, I think ACS assessment is based on the contents of ICT courses. Your program should have more ICT courses than junks..

Azy123, Alphadoor, Zoew can advice further.

Greetings all.
VETASSESS requested for my certified BSc. degree certificate from my formal University. I apply and my formal University hv posted my certified degree certificate to VETASSESS Australia three weeks ago. Now, I hv a grace of 3 days for my certified certificate to get to Vetassess. WHAT CAN I DO?
Please hv anybody in the house passed through such problem?
Tell your 'formal' university to give you evidence of the postage. Upload it for VETASSES to know it has been sent. Inform VETASSES that your school already sent it in the mail 3weeks ago.

For self employment, certificate of registration of company or business name is very important. You cannot claim any point without it.

I have always been on this thread reading posts but I have a little challenge which is limiting me from making a move of applying for an Australian PR. The challenge is this university tier tin. I graduated from Abia State University which I guess is a tier 2 Uni and my assessing body is aitsl( Education/Eng), 5years Job experience, 29years. I want to apply as a preschool teacher. Please I want to know if Aitsl does this tier tin just like other assessing bodies?
I think AITSL is more interested in supervised teaching practice than university tier.

Thank you so much for your response.Yes,i have been a lawyer for 12years here.But my work experience is with the judiciary as a magistrate for 5 years out of this 12years.My spouse is already disadvantaged by age.He is 53 and im 37. so he cant be the principal applicant.Please can you give me other ideas on how i can get around this? I have had my call to bar and degree certificates already couriered to VETASSESS.I have gotten my employers to do me a reference letter. And i have also contacted other previous employers to do same too.Infact,i have commenced the assessment process.Pls What do you advise i do at this point?
Vetasses is not the body responsible for assessing legal professionals. I don't understand why you sent your documents to vetasses.

What you can do is to recall your documents and don't pay if you are yet to pay.

@planofGod,

Is your 3yrs post PhD qualification? If yes, you should be able to get positive assessment. You only need to package your job descriptions in line with Anzsco descriptions.

You should rewrite English test for a 20 point score.

Any experience in estate management?

Hi eveyone,i have just been reading posts from accountants,engineers and other sciences proffessionals on this forum. I am a lawyer but i am discouraged because it seems there are no chances for Nija lawyers in Australia as i have not seen any lawyers showing interest in migration on this forum.Though solicitors, judicial and other officers in which category i fall are part of the occupations list.Somehow i feel i have no guidance.Oga Bellong and others pls help.Any info about solicitors and judicial or other legal proffessionals in Australia?Thanks
You must first be called to the bar in any jurisdiction of Australia before you can submit expression of interest. Google the law society of the state of your interest to understand the process.

You sure understand that law is differently practice in different countries and jurisdictions. You have to be able to practice law here before you can migrate as a lawyer.

It is a long process mate, that is why you don't see anyone talking about it. If you are married, your spouse can be the principal applicant if the occupation is on the list.

@Christyline,

How long has your husband been practicing?

@horlakay,

Without work experience, getting a 70 for ITA maybe difficult. The student visa may be a good option if you can finance it.

What is your husband's occupation?

@horlakay,

Why can't you process PR nominating materials engineer than going as a student.

To answer your question, I will pick project management over the other one.
Family › Re: Tribute To Baby MOMMAS! The ULTIMATE FEMINISTAS. by bellong: 9:40am On May 21, 2018
I nominate my Mum who became a baby momma because she chose to practice a different belief and faith.

It is not an easy task to raise 4 stubborn and difficult children. Looking back at the troubles, stress and pains we caused her while trying to give us a good life, I can't but wonder how she survived the times.

To the men, if you and your partner fall out of love with each other, you have a responsibility to the children. They shouldn't be made to bear the weight of your bitterness to the women.

To the women, don't use the children as a weapon to get back at the men. Some men are interested in being part of their children's lives but because you wanted to make the man pay for leaving you, you shield the kids away from him. You are not getting at the man but killing the inner yearnings of the kids to have relationship with their dad.

To all the mothers doing it tough and doing good job in raising the kids, may you not lose your reward and you will eat the fruits of your 'labours'.

Shout out to all the accidental baby mommas cheesy

Hello everyone, I need advice on on some issues from the gurus in d house please

1. I have a BSc Accounting from Uniben, ICAN and an MBA from NOUN should I ignore my MBA and have only by BSC and ICAN assessed?

2. Do I have to get syllabus for my BSC, MBA and ICAN I have my ICAN and BSC transcript with me already.

3. I have 10 yrs working experience and 9 yrs post ICAN. And I am currently an assistant Mgr finance, can I apply as finance Mgr. I become asst Mgr 3 yrs ago.

4. Does 70 points stand a good chance for Accountant -general

I will truly appreciate ur responses.

Thanks
You don't need your MBA for the assessment.

You need at least 80points to have any chance as an accountant at the moment.

Finance manager has very limited options.

@idNG,

1. Yes, he can add his wife to the application. The wife will need to update Home affairs so they can issue a different bridging visa.

2. No, it will not. All she should do is withdraw the appeal. 489 visa is superior to student visa.

3. Although there is no hard and fast rule about the documents to provide in proofing a union. However, wisdom requires that he provides as much evidence as possible to proof their relationship considering that the wife has been denied a study visa. Don't give the CO any opportunity to come up with a conspiracy theory.

The office here are booking the tickets, not sure it will be booked with the extra 10kg. I just want to know if we will have to pack the 10kg separately or it can be inclusive in our already packed luggage.
Once you get your ticket, it will specify your baggage allowance. You should go with whatever is on the ticket.
Travel › Re: Living In Australia/life As An Australian Immigrant by bellong: 11:52am On May 16, 2018
@Onizea,

Book a hotel online or Airbnb accommodation.

Take a taxi or bus from the airport to your destination. You don't need to book ahead for this.

The 10kg extra, is the company willing to pay for the extra or they have booked it along with your ticket? I don't understand that part.

If you are willing to pay, you can carry as much kg as you want. I should warn you that it is better you use the money to buy those excess things you are carrying here than pay for extra kg. The charge is ridiculous.
