seyiki: Good day house. I need guidance on how to go about my case. I have OND in electrical/electronics engineering in 2006, but I have 11 years plus work experience in a manufacturing company where my job roles have been tailored to the requirements by the general fitter skill (mechanical skill). Will this be acceptable by the TRA or what do you think I can do? Thanks in advance. Get in touch with Olalekankad. |

karlboss: I hope to migrate to Australia for a better life using the master in business.
I have little experience in prosthesis and orthotics technology I did my it training LUTH Lagos. We just got our licence to practice this year.
I hope to get a job in Australia after studies trying to learn IT Android development
Thanks for the response. Studying a masters in business will likely be an exercise in futility as it has no pathway for you to stay. You are better off continuing with masters in prosthetic and orthotics at the La Trobe University. You can use this to apply for PR later and even get a better career pathway. Don't waste money on Masters in Business. Study a course that will lead to a PR. To read more on PR, check the other thread. |

I have also applied to other universities but they keep directing me to agents and English requirements Do you have experience in that field? Your course of study. What do you need help with? What do you intend doing with Masters in Business in Australia? |

@Boseroye,
The only way to know is by applying. Put your years of experience as outlined in your CV. The worst that can happen is for them to say no. |

Bamz: TRA doesn't specifically ask for vendor certificates but it can act as supporting documents. You can get 5 extra pts from the 489 subclass or 10 points from the 190 subclass.
PS. TRA waiting period is a long wait. Around 90 days. It is the other way round. 190 - 5 points 489 - 10 points. |

Desiny: . What about seeking asylum how possible we this help my chances of staying too please reply thank you Is your country at war? I don't encourage people to fabricate stories because of a visa. If you have skill on their occupation list, you can apply for PR than looking for backdoor. |

Write your CDR as a chemical engineer. I believe you should be able to. There is similarity between petroleum and chemical.
If you write a convincing chemical engineering CDR, you should get a professional engineer. |

Hedvaforever: Thanks@bellong..The interview went well for over 30mins.though afterwards,the case officer at vetassess said he still needs to confirm my employment and duties from my direct boss and since i said i do not want my organization to know about my immigration plans that i should furnish him with the details of my manager who can verify my information. Make sure that the person you are supplying his details is conversant with the job descriptions you gave vetasses. Whatever the person says will be used as the final for assessment. Goodluck. |

Please what's the probability that either of them will work out. I need advice from people who are residing there. Thanks I don't know the advice you seek. I believe your friend will know better to seek for advice as he is the one involved. I don't advice people to do illegal things. |

@Milkytins,
You cannot get partner's point from your wife. The occupation must be on the same list as per subclass level. |

1. You can pay with your bank card. You have to confirm the dollar limit on your bank card.
2. In the documents you submitted, did you proof beyond doubt that you are working as a mathematician in the bank? Your job role in the bank must conform to the ANZSCO job descriptions for a mathematician. Your getting a positive assessment is dependent on how you put your case.
In the email you will be sent, they will outline the steps to take to appeal a negative outcome. |

Does anyone know the possible questions when they call like this so as to be prepared..My nominated occupation is Marketing specialist and i work as a marketer in a commercial bank..thanx all.. Cc@bellong They will ask you about your job descriptions. Go and study what you put in the reference and Anzsco description for the occupation you nominated. Other possible questions to substantiate your employment and what you do as a marketing specialist. Your response will likely determine the outcome of your assessment. |
