Franklyly:

But let me break down your points for you
Age 31 =30
Education Bsc =15
Experience 6yrs =10points
English = 20 points
Total = 75 points.
If your wife assess as accountant, you will get extra 5 points making it 80 points, but no need for that 75 is good enough already.

For a Medical Profession that is only about 2% filled for the year, I guess you will land a grant immediately you apply, you just have to calmly start the process, Congrats your grant is almost certain. For our assessing body, you need to write Eng test before you can submit for assesement so I guess you have to start there, I have a lot more info, we need to connect in pm, congrats bro!!!
Thanks a Lot Fam, I have been trying to get in touch, kindly check your mail and Hit me up.

2) in know CPAA, but ICAA is it same as CAANZ?

I think IPA is the last of them all

Yes bro.

He can go for any of CPAA and CAANZ.

He should endeavor to submit evidence of membership of ICAN / ACCA and provide a syllabus that covers all required areas as stated on the assessing organisation sites.

All the best.

Yes ICAA is same as CAAnz. As per your earlier question, I would prefer the person assesses ACCA as I am not very sure about ICAN.

@praiseisgood, was your ICAN assessed mine wasn't mentioned in my assessment outcome with ICAA?

Yes maám.

My ICAN (membership) was assessed as equivalent to Australian Bachelors Degree by CPAA. Same with my wife who graduated from a state suniversity. Only her ICAN (membership) was assessed as the B.Sc does not qualify -Tier palaver.

How are you doing? Hope the ministry is moving on fine.

toslad, praiseisgood and other accountants in the house which way to go ?

Although, I have submitted different EOI 's (General Accountants) for 189 and 190 NSW, is there any thing I can do to ensure I get invited any which way. Or should I also assess as a finance manager?

My concern is my age as my points will drop by November.

My Sister,

Do whatever you must to ensure you are invited before November. I am paying dearly for dropping points on age.

There is real competition for Accountant/Auditor and the Indians are just amassing points like kilode.

Guess you are in Aussy. Why not explore the NAATI option if you can quickly learn a new language.

Also follow up on the assessing body to ensure your Husby's assessment is out on time.

On NSW, they have slowed down invitation. Guess the last time they sent invite (pre-invite) was Mid- April (Although someone claimed to get on 11th May. Hopefully, with the lifting of unannounced ban on Accountant and regular invites for 189 by DHA, there will be less stress on 190.

We shall get there.

You don't need your MBA for the assessment.

You need at least 80points to have any chance as an accountant at the moment.

Finance manager has very limited options.

Go and register for a PGD in education with National Open University or NTI, Kaduna.
A strict requirement by AITSL is that you must have done Teacher training.
