The statutory declaration must be prepared by the other person, not you. I have attached the one I did for my job assessment. Note that I masked out all personal info
I actually did mine myself and get it notarized by a notary public.

I have just one question before I can give my opinion. Your honest and truthful answer will be appreciated.

When did this man in question repents or was he the one that told you he is God fearing?

^^^^^ Engineering technologist is broad and class of Engineers who are not considered professional engineer.

An electrical, chemical, petroleum, mechanical etc can all be assessed as engineering technologists. Engineer Australia assign this to any engineer they deem the CDR does not meet a professional engineer standard.

I want to believe that is why he advised the guy to assess as an engineering technologist which I believe is a reasonable advice.

Dear Bellong and other gurus, please i will like to confirm if I can start my assessment as I have done 2.9 years in my current place of employment and I have one year experience previously, but can't get a refrence letter from them.I only have their employment letter.I have taken PTE already(10 points).
Yes you can start your assessment. Do a statutory declaration for the previous job and attach other supporting documents as discussed on this thread before.

Goodluck.

@40manlappy,

Yes, it is like an affidavit as it must be attested to by a notary public/court as done for affidavit.

The content is pretty same as reference letter except that you are writing it yourself. You only need to add why you can't get a letter from your employer and also include contact details of your direct supervisor.

When I have time to sit at my system, I may be able to upload a sample of the one I used.

Thanks. I'll weigh the options after meeting with them in January.
Don't disturb yourself with any meeting. Just do a statutory declaration and explain why you couldn't get a letter. Add those documents as back up and you will be fine.

Oga Bellong,

Please what documents are required to prove one is responsible for the kid? I have a five year old Nephew I plan to add. The parents have agreed to let me include him.
Letter from the parents putting him in your care. Receipts for things you have bought for him or school fees paid if any. Anything you can think of showing you have been the carer and provider.

keleto:
@Bellong, you mean EA(Engineer Australia?), what about (Trade Recognition Australia TRA), are they the same?
Engineer Australia does electrical engineer draftsperson while Trades Recognition Australia is for technician.

It is better for you to assess as a draftsperson as EA is faster.

Bosayo:
Oga Bellong please I have a question regarding dependents that can be included in my application.

I have a 13year old brother that is living with him and I cater for all his needs. I read on a web that it will be possible for me to include him.

I just want to verify if this will be possible as there is no one else he can stay with in Nigeria.

Thanks again
As long as you can proof you are responsible for him, you can add him as a dependent.

@ucjc,
Someone already answered your question.

@Keleto,

Apply to EA for electrical engineering draftsperson. You can't nominate Engineering because you have an HND.

Real purpose of visa was for a temporary work permit(401/457) having believed the LIES of insider job huh
Yes, do it today. Raise the errors with him in strong terms. Condemn his actions and put things in perspective. You keep his response as evidence.

What are your qualifications and experience?

^^^^ For a start, do you have any email exchange with the agent as per his error?

What is your real purpose for the visa application?
Travel › Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by bellong: 10:34pm On Dec 22, 2016
@Segunwamiri,

From what you posted, the main reason you were refused is not providing enough supporting evidence for your trip. You (or your agent) probably didn't give supporting documents for the business trip or what you provided wasn't convincing enough.

Nothing difficult in applying for visa yourself if you follow the information on their website. It is neither cumbersome nor difficult if you provide all the information required with supporting documents. Agents cannot be as passionate as you to present your case. They are mostly after the money and not your satisfaction.

What you can do if you have to apply again is provide enough documents to support your application and convince the case officer of your true intention for a temporary visa. When you get to provide further information to support your application or something like that, you can explain you used an agent previously, because you were very busy at the time if it is why, who didn't provide all the documents you supplied to him and didn't realise until decision was made on your application. If you communicated with the agent by email to register your displeasure, you can attach a copy of the email to support your claim.

In other news, why are you applying for a business tourist visa?

Hello everyone, does EA accept skrill money transfer or payowner as means of payment for assessment ? They appear to be cheaper. I will also welcome suggestions for cheaper means of payment compare to using current Nigerian banks exchange rates.
Check EA's website but I don't think they do.

No cheaper means bro. Nothing comes cheap...

@Keleto,

My advice is take time to read the entire thread. Your questions have been treated many times. Knowledge through reading is power.

You can use bank statement but you will add other convincing evidence like employment offer letter, promotion letter, resignation (if old employment) letter and tax clearance if you have it.

For old employment, statutory declaration is what you need to do.

@Tyosho,

Champagne on me when you land... Quitters never win and winners never quit.

Good to hear it ends well. I knew it would end well...

@Bosayo,

Choose skill assessment, you can add point test advice to it but it is not compulsory. Skill assessment is the most important one.

Please make sure that the job descriptions you write in your CV match that of ANZSCO descriptions for VETASSES. I believe you don't want to get a negative email.

You should be fine for a positive assessment.

Goodluck

If you are single, your best bet for now is use a backpacker. Google backpacker in Melbourne and book for about three to four days.

Amanda0,

Learn how to quote properly and you don't need to quote comments, just type name. The way you quote makes it difficult to read your questions from the quoted statement.

If your friend is not an electrician yet, he can get an apprenticeship job from tradie companies. He will be paid at an apprenticeship rate $12/hr.

Alternatively, he can enrol for certificate IV in electrical in TAFE or any training organisation. It is advisable to go through the apprenticeship route. Don't ask me how to go about it, when he/she lands, he will know or ask Google.

If you are reading posts other than asking questions, you would have read that Medicare has been discussed severally. Yes, Medicare is part of what you get when you arrive and it doesn't cover dental ailments for adults. Human services website is where you can get detailed information.

A child born to PR holders onshore is given citizenship even if the parents are yet to be and I think about $1500 is paid to the parents after birth.
