Your insecurity about not living in the US makes you think that I think I'm better than people because I live in the US. If I got myself UK citizenship, you make have a point. The article is biased and provides no evidence. Airlines are private companies whose business is to make profits. Different races dominate respective sectors Some from tradition,others from skills, others from physical abilities, others from.academic backgrounds etc.
Sports franchises eg Bball realized blacks are best hires, Chinese dominate karate movies, Jews are into banking and businesses, Indians dominate retail outlets , whites in SA dominate rugby, women dominate in child bearing too😀😀.
If airlines didnt hire black pilots and have not l over the years in a globally competitive world, there should be other reasons for that, not just race.

I'm glad Kirk wrote this. It makes it evident that criticism of DEI is just a catchall for racists who believe black people aren't good/smart enough.
I'm not sure I told this story. But one of my exes was a graduate of 1 of the top 2 Law Schools in the US (being somewhat nebulous). She was half Nigerian, half white. She applied for summer internships in law firms with her Nigerian name initially and wasn't getting any interviews. She subsequently applied with her white/European middle name and got interviews with some of the top law firms in the US and ended up accepting a job at one of the top firms (She got offers to the top 3).

DEI, is a tool to force companies to hire qualified minorities vs. looking them over based on racism as they tend to do. The argument that in a country of 300 million with a 12% black population or 40% minority population, they can't find qualified minorities is specious at best.

Now for the self hating black person who thinks minorities aren't qualified to fly planes. The same arguments were used in the past to prevent black people (not capable/smart enough) from flying. Considering zendi's claim that "children nowadays learn all the bad things they want to learn thro internet connected divices", I want to get in there before the internet and teachers do, and I do want your kids taught about sexuality so they can protect themselves from paedos and not be paedos themselves.

Schools have curriculums, and you can choose a school with a curriculum you desire for your kids instead of sounding like the education you buy for your kid is imposed on you.
