meshachdbuzz: Yes fast processor.. But if you have agood software that's well optimize u will see wonders
For example Just imagine tecno using the new sd865 becuz of the shitty UI it won't perform better then the 855 on pixel But on paper sd865 is more powerful than the sd855
On like reviews I saw on YouTube Lg g7 vs samsung s9+ Both have same processor But the lg is faster in downloading loading of webpages Opening some app faster.. Same with lg g8 faster Dan samsung s10+ Yeah, thats true, most heavy UI contribute to slow performance. I've usually been wondering how a processor that's scores higher antutu benchmark performs slower. E.g Helio p60 vs SD 636 |

BenDanor: Let me buy this argument 1. Speed: I'll give it the A13 bionic chip on the iPhone which passes slightly higher than some powerful chips
2. Os updates: its a tie. With the introduction of Google pixel there is frequent updates and support for even the first google pixel
3. Security: I'd give it to the iPhone but that doesn't mean android isn't secure. Android has been more secure these few years; hardly heard androids getting viruses these days. If you want security you'll be all locked up without freedom and vice versa. Just know what you want.
4. Storage: you'd give it to android for expandable slots.
5. Camera: I'll give it to android. The google pixels and the huawei p series are blowing the iphones out of the way.
6. App integration and interaction: I'll give to android. You can make any app default and quick options to jump right into any app from anyother app.
7. Processor: The A13 bionic chip although the gaming chipsets on powerful android phones are giving it a clear fight.
In my opinion, apple was just created for security and android for customization. That's their main attribute, the rest are just what a phone should have. But for me, I'll pick the google pixel series (android) I'll have to make this correction straight away 7. Processor: the hauwei kirin 980 processor is the most powerful currently. If Apple would use it, then we would say its a neutral thing but now, the processor category goes to android. |

Atiku: You seem more enlightened than i am, so let’s discuss.... but you must have used both devices to argue. Which of the two does better in
1; speed 2; os updates (frequency and support for older phones) 3; security 4; storage( Bloatware wise) 5;camera 6; i also disagree with you on app integration and interaction. (You see why it is your cup of tea?) 7; processor
I don’t have to accept your cup of tea. Let me buy this argument 1. Speed: I'll give it the A13 bionic chip on the iPhone which passes slightly higher than some powerful chips 2. implementing: I'll rather buy their scrap than waste money on chinko like tecno..my A10 performance and display beat some of infinix flash ship devices, you'll know the difference when you use Samsung A series, and it can run pub g and pes 2020 smoothly The A10 uses a mid range mediaTek chipset and its display is IPS LCD HD+ with 2GB RAM so how can it beat a flagship (e.g infinix note 6)? Unless your just talking out of the prestige that's it's a Samsung device. |

meshachdbuzz: I disagree check out the lg device way cheaper with AMOLED better processor is just brand name joor I second this motion. Because Samsung's low range and some midrange devices are usually scraps take for example the A10 but still sell at an unreasonable amount. |

Deicide: I was comparing Samsung galaxy s8 with Xiaomi Redmi note 8 and the major difference is the super AMOLED screen if not other spec are almost the same well except for the processor with slight difference when it comes to processing speed. I guess the AMOLED screen makes pic appears better AMOLED display is also a contributing factor, durability, processor and brand name are also included. |

Rexraph18: Sorry for the misinformation, it doesn't really loss sound completely, just the mic responsible for making calls and recording sound. Aside that, speaker phone works, playing music, videos, even make calls on loudspeaker.
And about fixing, it's more a software glitch than hardware (I checked XDA forum, Google support etc), cos the issue started after updating the phone, if I downgrade to android 7.1, everything works normally (I have confirmed it) (I have other phones I use, so I use this pixel for my camera snaps, and the android 10 experience) OK it's more of a mic issue right? |

Rexraph18: I use the pixel XL.. battery is 34++ but not too good, can barely last a day on a full charge, aside that and the fact that there is this audio problem which is most likely to happen on pixel phones before 2017, where the phone loses sound after update. (Though sound works perfectly with Bluetooth headset)
The iPhone 6s on the other is also a great device, as it can get iOS 13 currently (though that will be the last major update)
So if your options are just the two devices, go for Google Pixel XL. Better camera and battery.
PS: should you decide on the Pixel, I will give you mine for 30k (currently on android 10), use 5k or less buy Bluetooth headset and keep the change Please can you post the pics of the phone? Do you mean loses sound entirely or the sound went low? |

Phones › Re: Is Gionee Back ? Gionee M11s And Gionee M11 Specs by BenDanor(m): 2:17pm On Jan 27, 2020 |
techycontents: Gionee announced two new smartphones called the Gionee M11 and Gionee M11s on WeChat. The Chinese smartphone maker seems to have put an end to its financial troubles and is ready to take on its competitors again. There was a partial TENAA listing of the two devices yesterday, but today, TENAA has published the full specs of both phones.
Going by Gionee’s previous models which come in standard and “s” variants, we believe the Gionee 20190620G is the Gionee M11 while the Gionee 20190619G is the Gionee M11s. The “s” model usually has the better specs
Gionee 20190620G (Gionee M11) The Gionee M11 (20190620G) has a 6.217-inch display with a 720 x 1520 resolution. There is a camera in the middle of the upper part of the display which is housed in a notch.
The phone is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor most likely supplied by MediaTek. There will be three variants – 3GB RAM + 64GB, 4GB RAM + 64GB, and 6GB RAM + 128GB and all will support storage expansion.
There are dual cameras on the back and TENAA says the sensors are a 16MP primary camera paired with a 2MP secondary sensor. Based on the listing, it appears the 2MP sensor is interpolated to 5MP or maybe some variants have a 5MP secondary sensor. The front camera is a 5MP sensor which seems to be 8MP on some variants or interpolated to 8MP. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The Gionee M11 packs a 5000mAh battery which has become pretty popular on a lot more phones this year. Unfortunately, it runs Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone will be available in Black, Gradient Blue, and Gradient Purple (above). It weighs 180 grams and measures 157.6 x 76.4 x 9.4 millimeters.
Gionee 20190619G (Gionee M11s) The Gionee M11s (20190619G) comes with a slightly bigger 6.3-inch display with a Full HD (2340 x 1080) resolution. It is also powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor paired with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of expandable storage.
There are dual cameras on the rear side of the phone along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The listing states two configurations 16MP + 5MP or 20MP + 8MP. The front camera also has two configurations – 13MP or 16MP.
Unlike its sibling, it packs a smaller 4000mAh battery but runs Android 9 Pie. It will be available in Dream Blue, Ink Green, and Starry Black. The Gionee M11s weighs 170 grams and measures 160.6 x 75.8 x 8.4 millimeters.
We expect Gionee will make a proper announcement soon and also reveal details about the pricing and availability of both phones.
