By God's grace, even if I become CEO of an oil company (or GMD of NNPC....lol), I go still dey comment on NL.

It's a 2-way thing. I also benefit from NL. Met some fantastic guys on NL some of whom we have met physically even outside Nigeria etc.Treated to a nice dinner by a NL friend in Manchester last year.

Set up a career consulting firm leveraging NL popularity on career matters. My partner that runs it full time and myself met on NL.

Wrote a book in 2014 ( https://www.jarushub.com/the-road-to-victoria-island/). First chapter of that book was a comment I made on NL in 2008.

Extrapolating from the Access bank theory, I want to say this. The best of each field, from CBT, was interviewed first of all. I believe the best of most of different specialties were invited July 1st and 2nd. However, for some fields like ICT, which probably started interviewing its candidates from the 9th, I still believe the best from CBT were called for the interview that day(July 9th). The lady you talked about didn’t perform as good as you in the CBT, accounting for why she was called on the 10th for her interview. This also explains why she got alert, and you didn’t get alert. She has been screened off. From the people who haven’t got alert, this is where the quota system will apply. People saying interviews were based on locations only, you are not entirely true. The fact that 4 or 5 of you called to an interview panel were from a region doesn’t mean that everyone interviewed by the panel for that day was from the same region. After your set, the next 4 was probably from a different region. In my set, the four of us were all from Kaduna(July 2), but that that day, I still saw people who most likely came from Benin. Also some Lagos people were also interviewed 2nd July.

Well, no matter how we want to interpret it, the Access Bank Theory reigns supreme. Receiving alerts are definitely not good is a bad marker.

No, I get what you are saying, But Majority of Nigerians underestimate the northerners, I went to a cafe during the first stage of this recruitment . Did you see the number of first class applicants & 2.1s for that place. My brother those people sabi book, especially current crop of graduates from that region

Please leave that 2.1 talk, a lot of students buy it in the south talkless of up north, it does not hold waters.

I didn't compare stats, I just said they were many, hence the argument that they all failed is far-fetched

All these they've not paid applicants scheduled on a particular day, or particular state, or discipline doesn't follow. This is how some people were thinking during CBT shortlisting and Interview invite.

Nothing is certain at the moment, so we should all need to chill though

I have been paid since Wednesday..6 July batch..guess what I can still log in to my profile and see my details there...what does it tell you? We are still in the race..

Severally it's been made clear that NNPC applies a quota system for the merit list..as even seen in their recent appointment of COOs/ head of the seven divisions..they are a lot of Hausa people in NNPC..this is as a result of the quota system..

If you tried your best at the interview...Pray you make it from your state.. (Delta, Lagos, Ogun, Imo) take note..high competition states

After APL .. orientation training shall start..after successful completion people shall get posted to different subsidiaries..

As for Tfare..there may b an embargo on it for now..or probably the lists have not been fully updated...

July 6th was a very efficient day in the process.and had a lot of sure and capable candidates especially EH..all of them can't b out just cos of alert..

The process is fast and it's good so let's discuss things much more important..

I also attest to your point on a lot of EH for July 6th cos it was a Saturday. Good observation

Those that got their alerts were those that weren't recommended by the interview panels... They've already been screened out. The final selection is for those that the interviewers recommended.

This is where the competition is stiffer, because it's based on quota system and course of study.

If it is true access bank holds no ground, almost everybody from July 6th received alert... So July 6th kpata kpata didn't make it?

When APL comes alot of local men will be shocked, everybody just hope for the best yet prepare your mind for the worst..

Local man has an info but it has been shared by another local man before and no one believed.

Some sensitive info are better left unsaid especially if it is unfavorable to some factions. From the trend so far, all you will get are ridicules and insults. I suggest you leave everything to NNPC to break the news themselves.

nice attempt . But as with most online surveys without a control sample, your sample space is prone to lots of data corruption and feedback dishonesty as the result has a tied relationship with human factor bias - confirmation bias being one. Quality online surveys don't have such deficiencies.

Do you have a better idea?

Y'all were told before the interviews that there'll be reimbursements for everyone hence the reason for dropping account numbers in the first place. Reimbursement does not determine who gets or does not get APL.

It is in human nature to create panic or discredit other people's story when it does not favour or yet to favour a faction, hence the resultant proliferation of the theories and the "I no want Tf" comments, it happens even in politics.

For those of you who have received tf, good for you, you can now look forward to APL, for those who are yet to receive, pls look forward to both, there is no need for either party to create panic with either of the 1% theory or Access theory, it is not helping. Not everyone has the nerve of steel like you do, let's tread carefully. God bless us all.
