Well, the thing about human beings in response to the trending discuss about Igbo's not helping themselves is that if you do, they will call it nepotism, if you don't, y'all hate yourselves. I think it is best you do you because whichever choice you make, ppl must have something to say.

What I know is that when one has too many powerful people with different motives trying so hard to influence how one should do his/her job or how one runs an organisation, one is most certainly going to end up looking incompetent no matter how hard you try to make things work.

I pray that God grants them more wisdom to see this recruitment to a conclusive end.

Don't think too much about all these things, remember you once said that they have a robust HR department. They are more coordinated and organized than we give them credit for. On Feb. 14, their legal, HR, ICT, Twitter account handler teams and the GMD were well coordinated.

In my own opinion, I believe the undue delay is because God is judiciously packaging something BIG for those of us that will eventually receive the APL. He is also taking time to weed out the forces that may stand against the ordinary Nigerian (without connect) getting some of these appointments.

Whatever the situation is, all glory belongs to God for He is worthy. Amen.

I am an EH and expecting the APL for the highest EH category and I know what my inquiries are about. I will help by throwing some light into what has been occurring since I last commented here: Our dear MKK has requested the completed EH list and sent it back to the Review Panel 3 DIFFERENT times in the last two and a half weeks and no one knows exactly what he is checking for. The onus is on him to release the consolidated list which has been ready for three weeks plus now.We have no choice but to sit down and wait.

Those with credible info, this question is prolly a cliché but I can't help but ask if anything is really cooking this week?

I am tempted to believe that @Cavalier's info was for the additional GTs and not for the EHs as purported. I may be wrong though.

That's a good one. To address this, further scrutiny shall be done for APLs with similar info to determine the impostor. Phone numbers shall be included in the email to ascertain correspondence between the name on Truecaller and that on the APL.

It may not be totally foolproof but you can agree with me that it will curb impostors to a large extent. Further sifting shall be done when official mails are provided for the real candidates.

Lol, even if a plan has been made 5 years prior, as long as one accepts that the APL will come eventually, then it is necessary. All one need do is come back to this comment for implementation. That is not so hard is it?

Someone with the link should please help those who are in need if it.

However, in my own opinion, and by the grace of God if I get the APL, I intend to open a telegram group for those of us who got the letter to relate better on the way forward.

Right now, joining an open telegram group makes no sense to me for the following reasons:

1. It will not bear any exclusive info different from what is obtainable here on NL

2. It gives more room for constituting nuisance by those who have no business being in the group in the first place (e.g. GTs both successful and unsuccessful, unsuccessful EHs or outright non-applicants).


I intend to selectively add those who can produce screenshots of their censored APL blotting out every other info except their names and perhaps the position applied for as stated on the letter. This screenshot shall be forwarded to a designated email I'll provide for vetting before being added to the telegram group to ensure chaffs are separated from the wheat (no offense intended). Kindly note that I'll have to share my screenshot as well to every member that have forwarded theirs to ensure transparency.

N.B. I may not get the APL but this template can be adopted by those of us who'll get it.

Big Congratulations to the initial 1050 GT New Hires even though it is belated. Another Big Congratulations to the recent contacted GT.

With reference to NNPC official communication in February & the recent GMD's interview that GT recruitment has been concluded and that EH will be continuous process as the need arises;

[s]Could it be that the recent contacted GT has 3 years or more working working experience but less than 6 years? Maybe they want to place them in SS5 ( 3yrs Exp category) since no SS5 role was advertised during the recruitment. If yes, then they can be classified as EH too.

Could it be that the recent GT list has been mistaken for EH? If yes, then it's the luck of those GT (what has been seen cannot be unseen), [/s]after-all some people were paid TF more than once whereas some people were not paid at all.

Are they replacement for those that rejected the offer? Well by ending of March, NNPC had the full knowledge of those that accepted their offer and they could have replaced them immediately so that the induction will be together, I want to believe that was the essence of the 3months notice before the resumption.

Also, I want to believe that the virtual induction/onboarding of the new hires has been concluded,I think the resumption date of the recent contacted GT should give us hint about the status of the EH, maybe the next induction will be for the EH and the recent contacted GT.

This is just me thinking out loud, best of luck to the EH.
