If you study well, you will pass. If you work hard, you will succeed irrespective of your religios disposition. My cousin now doing masters in the US on NLNG scholarship said something about his department. There are chinese, Americans, Russians etc in his class who were on scholarship too and majority of them were athiest. They were all brilliant and he felt like the dumbest person in the class. This people will go clubbing on sundays and still come back and top the class with 2 or 3 Nigerians who think prayers is what works. This is not to say that prayers is bad, but how can you explain your self to Athiests who are doing exceedingly well.To me, i believe in God. Even if God wants to give you something, he will give you the tools needed to be competent in it. You are misunderstanding the point. When God says he is a God of justice, what does it mean to you? God help us all

Alot of people trusting God for NNPC success are just so unbelievable. I suspect they're the newbies in the job market. So if all the 9000 interviewed trust God for the job, who will God then allocate the slots to when there are very limited slots? obviously, it is the person that has demonstrated potential capacity to be a solution provider in NNPC that will get the job since God is now a common denominator to all applicants. Abi does God love you more than the other applicants?

I used to think like you, applying logic to explain everything. Yes your assertion makes so much sense ordinarily. However, you fail to understand that for the fact that everyone prays to God, only God sees their heart and know the genuine people. Secondly, out of the few genuine people, some carry the grace of working in NNPC while others have been destined to bring glory to His name in other spheres of life. Not that I am discrediting hardwork, but don't make the mistake of thinking that only your hardwork got you through because the "equation of prayers" has been balanced as everybody prays. If it is by hard work only, there are some people much smarter than you who didn't make it past the CBT for reasons as ridiculous as network failure.

Be guided, God is not man that you can use logic to decipher His ways, he can choose to give a madman a position you have worked and prepared so hard for just to make you understand that it is not by your power.

N.B. Just in case you want to profile me as one of those slackers who think God will come down and write exams for them, you will be wrong, I am a first class product but I always dedicate it to the One who made it possible. God bless you.

It seems everybody coming for the interview were seeing same set of interview panel according to your discipline.
No time to really drill the management cadre candidates by subject matter experts.

Not even according to your discipline, because some panelists were from other disciplines hence the generic questions.

Not that I jump into these sort of arguments but I will like to clarify that what is wrong is a matter of perspective. Some times what is right to the Christian is wrong to the Muslim and what is wrong to the Muslim is right to the Christian. In other words what is wrong is not always wrong but dependent on which side of the divide you stand. If you ask me I will say you should leave judgement to God and God alone.

You made a good point and I totally agree it is a matter of perspective. If a teacher sets an exam and then decides to share the exam answers to only half of the class while the other half is left to their own devices, of course the half that benefitted will hail the teacher as a great man while the other half will consider him a beast.

In other words, let us drop the matter as there will always be a divided opinion just like with the above students. My advice to those who feel like sharing their experience is that they should act with wisdom, whatever good you feel like doing shouldn't be at the detriment of others that have equally worked so hard, let your conscience be your guide.

As a matter of fact, I agree that giving out direct questions affects your chances, and gives another an edge to perform better.
However, what I have issues with is the fact that those who are screaming "ethics", "right and wrong" have all read other people's interview experience, and used it to prepare for theirs.

They only became righteous and objective all of a sudden because they don't want others to enjoy the privilege they've enjoyed.

I have applied for other jobs where I got far in the recruitment process because previous candidates shared their experience. I do well to drop my experience for posterity as well.

If you don't intend to do that, stay away from the well, or at least, don't put dirt in it.

You have a point there but it would have made more sense if experiences shared were after the interview was over just like in the case of the CBT. Even if those agitating against it benefited from it, it still does not make it right. You are doing it for posterity sake Yes! but have you stopped to consider that your act of good deed is spoiling other people's chance at a better future? You can't rob peter to pay Paul. Timing is key.

You cover book oo, you open book oo, it is a personal decision. If the looker know wetin him dey do, him for no even notice say person dey cover book for am. Parasites like to hide their weaknesses by trying to shame those who refuse to open book. A lot of people don open book still fail while those wey him help pass forget am. So please y'all should stop that crap talk. If him no open book for you, move on, no be you pay him school fee.

You should know it is a trick question, they are testing how easily you can compromise your standard.

Even if they share the questions or not it still won't matter. Many that were not even invited for the interview will still get the job. This is the best time to pray because you have done your part.

Yes, some people will get in through the back door quite alright but if it was that easy, all positions would have been filled by nowand there wouldn't have been any need to conduct this stressful recruitment exercise. It is not everyone that has the money and connection to come through backdoor. Hence, sharing of questions matters as the bulk of the recruitment will be via merit. There is no best time to pray, the bible says pray without season.

The arrogant fish will tell you "all water na water" until something starts boiling. A word is enough for the wise, if the position was meant for everyone, there wouldn't be any need to conduct a test or interview, it would have been a walk in employment, but like I said, thank you for being nice. Perhaps those sharing their interview questions don't really need the job, they are comfortable where they are, I have no grudges against you but please, please and please, give us that are in desperate need to land a decent job a fair chance. Be nice to us too by holding your peace.

For those sharing in-depth details of their interview , giving the rest of the candidates undue advantage over others who have already done theirs, you guys are very nice, thank you; but you should have done 1 more better by screaming out your CBT answers too to enable more people pass the test.

Nna mehn, I thought EH questions were supposed to be restricted to the role you applied for, It was only during my interview that I realised that 3/4 of the panelists don't know jack about my field, they asked me random questions based on what they know because it seems there is a rule that each panel member must ask their question but I thank God for my peripheral knowledge beyond the scope of my field. Yes nah, it is a trick question. They are banking on the fact that candidates will not read carefully and jump into solving the primary school maths.

The question asked for the "26 cups" and not "26 cups of beans", I think it is a trick question that aims to test for a candidate's attention to detail.
