However, if I must concede to the conspiracy theories that have been flying around, out of 9,000, NNPC wants just 1200 or 2500 or 4500 according to diff "sauces". This automatically implies that the other higher fraction will be dropped. If I were y'all, whether I received alert or not, I'd pray to belong to whichever is the smaller group at the end of the exercise.

Crediting of these large number of accounts isn't necessarily done using all these NEFT nor NIP.
For those familiar with the use of Oracle Flexcube, a Journal entry is simply created and accounts credited.
Multiple batches of these Journals can be created to carry as many accounts as possible.
Alternatively all accounts numbers after being entered into an Excel sheet is sent internally to a central processor ( maybe at the dispatching bank's HEAD OFFICE) and accounts credited simultaneously.

Bros, everything you have described here, Flexcube, Excel, Journal and Head Office, in summary they are the components of NEFT. Describing the process and dropping banking terms won't change it. Even the narration clearly says it is NEFT. This presumed over-sabi is getting outta hand, and you have not even registered with our association.

It was presumed that processing began last week Friday after the last day of interview, GMD meeting was last week Monday

Sometimes it is good to be humble and find out about certain things you know nothing about,. Someone has earlier explained why NEFT can be resorted to as against NIP or if I must add RTGS too but ignorance is bliss for you.

Please it is not everything that is cast in stone, any fund transfer person will attest to my assertion that NEFT can be done same day. They usually add early morning batch to the previous evening's batch if any for processing.

Just to point out something I noticed, this second batch of payments were posted yesterday.....
I'm saying this because, If you check the narration, you'll see channel as NEFT.
This particular person used NEFT (Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Electronic Funds Transfer), which is T+1, i.e it will take 24 hours or more to reflect in the recipients account.


So technically, no new transactions have been posted yet.

NEFT may be 24hrs but can also be done same day especially if processed early enough. If you know, you know.

Don't you think there is more to this? Is it difficult for NNPC to collate all the account details of candidates and then disburse at once, just as they sent invitation for interview and CBT? Why the time lapse between the alerts?

Recall that for those who were interviewed on the same day, some have gotten while others have not. So I think there is a yardstick for sending these alerts.
