Felicity0001: How about the both visiting you today while you're driving? You think HP n rental na mate? Mr felicity, it still doesn’t make sense. You are trying to hide behind the protest while you are still making money. 20k for an offline trip (No commission) and u still plan not to pay car owner at the end of the week? That’s simply wrong. When we see wrong thing, make we Dey talk am. Most times, drivers here make it look as if driving the the hardest thing to do in this country. Which work is easy? Which investment isn’t risky? In Lagos, if you don’t put effort towards whatever you do, u might fold. In driving, hard work is spending more time online. The lastma that disturbs drivers are also the Lassa and council that disturbs shop owners. Protest isn’t an excuse to default Payment! |

bolabiyi: driving around in traffic ba? Issokay.. Then drop the keys na. And wait until Lagos is open again. Is there any need stressing the car when money won’t come out? No. Pity owners too! |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Beng1234: 9:17am On Oct 14, 2020 |
The protest is no excuse to default your weekly payment. If you are on rental, inform the owner and drop the keys until protest is over. If you are on hp, inform the owner too. My point is; if you are still driving around, you have to pay. Don’t give excuse on the day of payment. Make una self Dey pity owners, Na money them Dey use maintain motor.
P.S: I haven’t driven for 2 whole weeks, I can now feel my flesh and I noticed that I seal more deals, because I have the time to relate with my clients. God bless everyone in the hustle, my prayer is that we won’t drive forever!!! |

AngryIgboDon: At your hopeless age, you come online everyday to discuss lighting ovens amd having mermaids in your kitchen as if that makes you a boss. The real bosses are busy using your destiny to enhance their own and their family members.
Bunch of outwitted slaves, basttards and oven lighters. You just open your mouth. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa like a donkey. How is it your business that I became friends with my rider? I got my money from the trip (plus extra toppings). Look very well before you fire shots. Not everyone has chill. |

Olayetan: Pilots
Pls i need contact, i had brake failure last nyt on my way from festac to ikota school, i managed to drive the car with my rider to destination, on getting to mega chicken, i saw a mechanic working on camry car, i related with the mech to help me block my brake lining from leaking oil and the guy did while i paid him 2k.
I slept in front of the mega chicken until 3:30am when i had a knock on my car window, i woke up only to see someone asking me to drop him at lekki at an agreed price, i asked him, does he know its curfew time which he nodded yes and i said to him that, he's liable for every police checkpoint which he agreed to comply with them.
On getting to jakande round about, we saw police check point and i was hoping the guy would comply but instead, he didn't and the police asked me to go and drop him where i picked him, i asked the guy and his girl to drop from my car so i can move back to mainland. The guy and the girl came down and i thought the police would let me pass but they still want me to bribe them before they will let me pass and i had no money on me as I've used what i got from the trip that took me to Island to buy fuel and settle the mechanic that helped me fixed the brake lining.
Right now, they have taken my car to their office in ilasan cuz i refused to bribe them as other motorists passing by were bribing them and i explained what happened to me to them but they insisted on me settling them before they will let me pass.
Pls if you have any contact that can help me in this case, i will really appreciate. No rider is worth your sacrifice! The other day, I picked up a rider, going to seme park (mile2). As we got to the destination, rider said the park was still in front. Meanwhile, we passed. I asked bike men around to confirm. One bike man told me the park was just behind us (we could quickly reverse). As I put am for reverse, LASG show face out of no where. They blocked the car and asked rider to come down. The rider self wan rush come down (he said he would walk to the place). I told the police man that the rider must follow us to where ever they are taking me to ( I didn’t end the trip then because I knew police were gonna take our time). The police guys said we were going to oshodi. They asked me to drive. On our way, negotiations started. They asked me to pay 10k, I beat it down to 5k. Told rider that he must pay half the money or else I will seize his phone. Baba paid 2.500, I paid 2,500. By this time, we had gotten to isolo again, we had to turn back, trip ended 4500. I moved on. |

northbird: What I'm saying is.
You can only enter Oniru from Ozumba lane heading towards the lekki toll gate, you can't enter from Ozumba lane facing Falomo Bridge.
All the roads that form a perimeter around Four points Hotel are one way drives. That means if you are on that road, you can't make a U turn on same road n face the opposite direction.
Signs are there, it's not yet updated on Google map. So d heads up is for guys who r not familiar wt d new devpt.
Before Gmap leads one into... If you are coming from toll gate, u can’t access oniru. Driving straight from muri okunola into Abila abiodun (that access bank road), is 1 way Entering corporation drive from oniru road is 1 way |

AngryIgboDon: Something terrible nearly happened to me yesterday.
People are really Wicked in this world. People no longer have conscience in Nigeria.
I was around Jibowu and got a request from one beast of many colours. Because this was a park, my spirit told me to stay sharp and frost. As I arrived, I was watching the body language of this mad man and knew already that all was not well. The way he was eyeing me mischievously and behaving all snaky told me that all was not well.
This young man told me to use reverse and enter the luxury bus park that he has some small loads he wants to load in my car. According to him, they are just "Shoes and Bags".
I decided not to drive in but park along the road and investigate. My people when I arrived, the pictures below are what I saw. I used my rider app to check the estimates from Jibowu to Lekki phase 1. Umunnem, what I saw e shock me! 2200-2550! I screamed Jesu! Why are people like this?
This Young man wanted to load a whole container of goods from China into my Darling car and take me to Lekki for 2200! Something am sure a Truck driver won't even accept 15,000 naira for. Yet he wanted to load it in my Saloon car for 2,200 naira. And he was thinking he is smart?
I have seen it all in this hustle. This world is really not my home... What a wicked generation?
To cap it all, he is my "Igbo brother". I spoke to him in our dialect and asked this animal if this were to be his car, will he like to carry all this load for 2,200? He told me how is that one his business? Is it not Bolt that fixes price? One bus loader there even told me all the Kabu Kabu he is calling first were telling him to pay 25,000 naira and that the trip will be twice! Yet, he wanted to do it one trip on Bolt for 2,200!
Am a businessman and I know the weight of those sac bags alone. Each of them weighs over 150kg! The four of them is over 600kg! While the total load is over 1,000 kg! Yet he wants to pay 2,200.
I even told him that any driver he calls should be an offline job and it shouldn't be for anything less than 20,000 naira because those goods am seeing there are worth over 2 million! He told me to getout. What a Wicked Belzebuul.
Guys stay sharp and frosty before this mothafuckas take food off your table. It doesn't matter if the person is your brother from the North or South. If your car dies, none of them will be there to help you. Basttards! The funniest thing is that another driver will pack the loads and start trip. |

I got a request on Ogudu road today, went straight to pick up location. Called rider only for him to say pick up was wrong due to gps. That I should turn back (imagine oooo . Turning back to where I was coming from 2km). If the rider had an error in location, why didn’t he at least call to inform me? Tomorrow now, them go enter twitter Dey rant. |
