Nice man. We are winning this. I am part of the WhatsApp group. Qtsnow: |
I too have been scammed by this guys. The format used for me is the same as yours. As a guy born in Kd who spent most part of his life in the ghetto part of Lagos (Ajegunle) it hit me hard. The painful part of it was that they came through my dad who was only trying to help his son secure a job. This people are so wise to the point that they wont come directly to you. In my own case, they went through my uncle who later communicated the idea of me getting employed in Civil defence to my dad. As a fresh graduate that has submitted over 300 credentials to over 300 companies in just 4 months of completing my NYSC you can say I was very desperate to be employed and to put my skills to good use. I lost #70,000 to them. I started suspecting a dead rat in the mix when I saw the account number, but my dad said it so because it is replacement and not a new appointment. The second red flag was when they requested that I should pay extra #45,000 for kit (Booth and uniform). Below is the account number which I paid into.

How much do you charge for Facebook ad. How effective is it? Kittex7: |
Palema007:The law of magnetic force states that positive + Negative = Attraction. Negative + Positive = Attraction. Positive + Positive = Repellent Negative + Negative = Repellent I think to some extent this applies to human attraction too. This is why the bad girls are getting married every Saturday while majority of church girls are at home. If you are good, expect to attract bad guys to yourself. it is now your duty to choose your partner from all the men your beauty and personality brings to you. |
lefulefu:You are not far from the truth. Imfact, I have a friend like that. Most times we jokingly tell him that after getting a bad girl, he goes around complaining that she is not God fearing and isn't wife material. What I am trying to say is, even a man whose kind of woman are those rugged types still craves peace of mind and stability in his marriage. |
True. But in this post, I am only pointing out what men want from women. I don't know much about what women want from men. You could as well enlighten me. Saintmary: |
LADIES PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!!!! Men attend to Women for two reasons, SEX, and LOVE, but in most cases, men do not Marry for Sex or for Love, they marry for STABILITY. Let me explain: A man can Love you and not Marry you. A man can have sex with you for years without marrying you. But immediately he finds someone who brings stability in his life, he marries her. What I mean by Stability is "Peace of Mind" I have seen some guys who made this statement "I love this lady but I don't think I can spend the rest of my life with her." Men are visionaries when they think about marriage, they do not think about wedding dresses, bridesmaids, anything that most Ladies think is fanciful. They think whether this woman can build me a home, can she take care of my kids and I, can she give me PEACE of mind?. Men don't like Ladies who gives them discomfort, This is why a man can stay with a woman for years and meet another in a month, then get married to her. It is not heartlessness on the part of the guy, it is the comfort of having peace of mind that drives any man. As we all know marriage is a lifetime contract therefore the best should never be sacrificed. Sex is a pleasure, love is an affection, RESPECT is vital between each other. Be wise |
I think i have learnt my lesson the hard way. i have them all. yomi007k: |
The money is #400,000. I think he has it, because i saw photos of his child's naming ceremony on facebook recently, those were not pictures of someone who is struggling financially. I don't know about the valuable collateral. stacyadams: |
Thanks, but is there another way i can get back my money. Everyone keeps telling me to go to the police. stacyadams: |
Daalu. I was able to build a twin flat bungalow in Kaduna, not yet fenced. I spent it wisely but wasn't able to reinvest into another business before Covid19. doggedfighter: |
Nne, daalu. Your brother is really bitter. doggedfighter: |
please, this is a true story. I have proof of all the transactions. I am always put off by the idea of taking him to the police. Is there another approach to getting the money that doesn't involve taking someones husband and father to the police? |
Okay, i will do that now. i was just doing that to book space for the other write-ups that would follow. ekwuemendinso: |
Its okay. This is no reverse psychology and i am not advertising anything. Thanks anyways, your comment means a lot. alexistaiwo: |
My Crux: Early this year (February) the Chinese manager of the company left Nigeria because of the Corona Virus and this slowed down the business completely. Last three weeks ago, I was arrested at my shop by police officers from Abuja. I got to Abuja before I was told my offense. I was arrested by the new Nigerian manager of the company because of the products which I supplied to that guy in Niger state two years ago. I spent three weeks in Abuja prison partly because of the lockdown and because my family members were looking for funds to pay the company. According to the manager, I will pay the #400,000 for products supplied because I didn’t make payment while the promo was on. I was released on Monday 6th of July, 2020 after the payment of #400,000 was made. To make matters worse, yesterday on hearing that I am out of prison, someone I owed #15,000 during this lockdown came to my shop and collected my android phone. Currently, I am phone-less and typing this with a friends PC. Today, my friend gave me a torchlight phone to be managing till I am able to get another phone. My questions are: 1. Is it possible to recover the money back from him? 2. If yes, how do I recover the money from him as He is no more picking my calls? 3. Is it okay to be scared, a friend told me NUPE people are very diabolic and he could hurt me? 4. Is it also possible he has jaxed me because I seem not to be taking the matter serious? Please, my fellow Nairalanders what do you advice I do? Can anybody here help me recover this money?? Please, the mods should come to my aid and move this to the front page. I am convinced someone here might know the guy in question cus he seem to be popular in Katcha, Niger state. |
Genesis of my Mistake: The reason why I and many others like myself who ventured into that business succeeded was because we had the best manager any business owner would be proud of. The manager is a Chinese, he has so many years experience of doing business in Nigeria and understands how to get the best out of Nigerians. He made us understand that it is only an open hand that receives (Meaning, if you don't give you won't receive). His level of trust towards us baffles me after all he must have seen and read about Nigerians. He would supply us products running into millions and asks us to sell and make returns. The key ingredient to the success of his business and our business was trust. This ended up being a big mistake because I got to learn the hard way that humans are blinded by greed Niger state and Kaduna were my biggest markets. In Niger state (Katcha) I met a very young vibrant man. He is Nupe by tribe, a Muslim and married with kids. At that time, I noticed he was struggling with life and in him I saw myself. I took it upon myself to help him make some money, so I registered him into the business with my money (#37,500), I asked him not to pay me back. My Mistake: Just like the Chinese manager, I also distribute products received from the company to some of my top distributors on trust in various states for easy redistribution/sale to customers in their various states. Together we all made money in the business and everybody was happy. On the 20th of September 2018, I made a fresh supply to the guy in Niger state worth #400,000. I made that supply at a time the company was running a promo tagged “buy one get one free”. What this simply means is that instead of him paying #400,000 he will have to pay #200,000 instead. Till date he has refused to make payment for those products. From all indication, he has sold the products because He has refused to even return the products back to me. Initially, if I call him he would pick my call and beg me to please give him time which I always do. Later he will tell me to send my account number that he wants to send me part of the money only for me to see an alert of 2k or 3k, most times nothing. |
Good morning fellow Nairalanders, I am writing this with a very bitter heart. This issue has been eating me up inside for a very long time, I think it’s high time I share it with the general public and get the peace my fragile heart deserves. NOTE: I have never claimed to be a professor of English here; neither do I have a degree of linguistic in English Language, therefore I am not perfect. I would have preferred using my local dialect (Igbo) but I need to get a wider reach so English Language is the perfect tool. Please, read to the end, this would be long but I will try to be brief. Brief Intro: Last two year I did a Network marketing business with a Chinese pharmaceutical company that paid me very well. It is not a Ponzi scheme. The business involves real networking and the buying and selling of health products. While doing the business, I got to meet new people from my experience of traveling to different states in Nigeria and in the process I made new friends. The Genesis of my Mistake: I know this is not snake related, but the mods should pls come to my aid. Lalasticlala mynd seun I need your help now. |
Yea, war is not the Solution according to a prevelaged spoilt brat from the sand hills of the North. Mind you, we know your people are indirectly getting prepared for it too by allocating all juicy positions of defence chiefs to the North so as to control the nation's armory. You really don't know what is coming for you, it will be bigger than the Biafra war I promise you. Keep fueling the people's anger with your Nepotism and avariciousness. Yenefer: |
I have never read anything on the internet as foolish as what you just put up there. Jesus! Is it that you don't have common sense or you just don't want to use it? You are busy bragging about owning rail lines and express road when your oppressors are busy looting away your future and that of your Children. I cry for you. It is sad that most of you in Lagos, Ogun, Anambra, Abia, Delta etc still think the North is one dirty desert. Think again because this politicians are gradually turning the North to a fortress with the excess allocation dey get from the Federal government. The South will continue to perish if we fail to unite. Taye4j: |

O boy, that girl must be a relative of either Anini or Derico Nwamama. I have another experience to share. I once brought a girl which I met that same day at my work place to my house one very hot afternoon. After our shitchat, one thing led to another and we ended up having S*x. After the romp, I escorted her to the bike stand to get a bike and still gave her transport and a little token of appreciation. Later in the evening my friend and room mate came back from work and after laughing to the story of my sexcapade, he suggested we take tea for the night. It was when we started searching for our tin of cowbell powdered milk (The biggest size) and the packet of St.lois Sugar that it became clear that I have been robbed by a petty thief. Till date, whenever we buy new provisions in the house my friend will jokingly tell me to call my girlfriend to come and carry everything as usual. I ran into her one fateful day at the market, I couldnt hold myself from laughing. That shit was funny. illicit: |
Lyydia:Indeed. I need popcorn. Do you mind to share? |
This was my experience. On this sad fateful day, I and my ex-girlfriend attended a workshop in Lagos. After the workshop, we agreed to lodge in an hotel till the next morning then we can emback on our journey home. I noticed that this hotel had like six different pure white towels in their closet and bathroom. Upon checking out In the moning, She wrapped two and put it inside her hand bag. Unluckily for her there's always a compulsory search at the reception before exit. Right there in my face a towel was brought out from her bag. Jesus! I got so cold and embarrased. She said it was a mistake but I wasn't buying any of it cus one towel in her bag may be a mistake but two is definitely theft. Share your own funny experiences. Cc: lalasticlala, Seun Pls, move this post to the permanent site. We know this is not snake related but you never can tell we may read story of someone who stole a reptile . |
I am from the South East doesn't make me Igbo. My dad is Ikwere while my mom is Idoma does that make me an Igbo? Balogunodua: |
Bro, good morning. Sorry I had to quote you so as to make my point. I was born in Kaduna, lived in Lagos and did my University in Anambra state University. I am not from Nnewi, but I am from Anambra. I am Igbo by tribe. Whatever I am going to tell you now is without bias. In my final year in school, I was nominated by the parish priest in school to be the chairman organising committee of the Final Year forum. I and a few others had the task to raise funds to print brochure, cook food for the whole students and buy gifts for the Chaplaincy. I and my committee members struggled to raise funds. One faithful day, I decided to visit Chikason group in Nnewi. After speaking with a man who looked so unkept about my plight he collected my account number and after a long while, a week to the event I received an alert of #500,000. It was like a miracle. I used part of the money to pay for for brochure and the rest on food and drinks and gift for the church. It's a long story. The man called 2 days to the event to request for an invitation. He came, saw the happiness in the face of the graduands and asked me if I still need money to solve any more problem which I declined because half a million was more than enough. Nnewi people are stupendously rich. Igbos are rich you will hardly know because the rich ones are not in government and they live a low-key life. totit: |
We've been exposed, Corona is exposing us, Exposing our weak sides, Exposing our dark sides, Exposing what normally lays far beneath the surface of our souls, hidden by the invisible masks we wear. Now exposed by the paper masks we can’t hide far enough behind. We've been exposed. Corona is exposing our addiction to comfort. Our obsession with control. Our compulsion to hoard. Our protection of self. We've been exposed. Corona is peeling back our layers. Tearing down our walls. Revealing our illusions. Leveling our best-laid plans. We've been exposed. Corona is exposing the gods we worship: Our health Our hurry Our sense of security. Our favorite lies Our secret lusts Our misplaced trust. We've been exposed. Corona is calling everything into question: What is the church without a building? What is my worth without an income? How do we plan without certainty? How do we love despite risk? We've been exposed. Corona is exposing me. My mindless numbing My endless scrolling My careless words My fragile nerves. We’ve all been exposed. Our junk laid bare. Our fears made known. The band-aid torn. The masquerade done. We've all been exposed. Not necessarily to the virus (maybe...who even knows♀️). We’ve all been exposed BY the virus. What Corona reveals, Only God can heal. So what now? What’s left? Clean hands Clear eyes Tender hearts. Come Lord Jesus. Have mercy on us. Author: Ukatu Ben |
May God never stop blessing you. I am from the South East and I can boldly tell you that the North is scared of the unity of South South and South East. They prefer our disunity more. DabuIIIT: |
Quote me anywhere. I pray this virus continue till september. Those wicked politicians will pay for what they did to our beloved country. I don't care wether it is APC or PDP they are all the same. I am not scared of death. If death is a price I have to pay for a better 2moro then it is worth it. Now I believe Nigeria will be great again. Our God can not be mocked. helinues: |
Are you for real?? Are you trying to say you don't know that carat is a mathematical measurement. “If you like Like you haven't heard people say "This is a 4 carat Gold or Diamond"? vizkiz: |
Mazikic:Seriously o. I also wanted to say the same. Obviously there is problem in the land which only restructuring and division can solve. We mustn't be together Afterall Ireland, Wales, Scotland all broke out of England and agreed to live together as the United Kingdom. If this social experiment called Nigeria is not working, why force it?? |
The man is bitter at Buhari?? You say you can see progress in this administration?? My friend I don't want to believe you are demented or is it that you derive pleasure in pain as long as the one causing the pain is one of your people? PDP messed up the country which was why I and patriots like you vehemently campaigned and voted for Buhari in 2015 and he won. It is time we admit to ourselves that APC and Buhari cunned Nigerians. Let's leave tribalism, religion and party aside for once and face issues on ground. We should stop the blame game. APC has the responsibility to atleast try and change the country for good, instead things are getting worst. maasoap: |
