I have been an active Nairander for years now, but I only post or reply when necessary. I am in Kaduna and I see serious war looming (I fear for everybody living in Kd).

To those saying that this is not religious or political, I laugh you. It may start as a communal clash but it always escalates to religious, ethnic and polical.

I saw a video here of a man being stoned to death during this crisis in Ibrahim Taiwo road ( Before Kasuwa). If you watch the video carefully you will notice that at one point, they stopped stoning him and started shouting that he is a Muslim. That was his saving grace.

I have good Muslim friends, therefore I can vouch that they are not all evil, but so many Muslims are committing atrocities all in the name of Allah. Its just the illiterate ones. If you are an educated Muslim Man or Woman tell the truth, nobody will stone you for it.

The traditional ruler is a Christian, what a coincident. The problem is, Islam encourages Muslims to fight those who fight them but Christianity says "If you are slapped on the right cheek, turn the left cheek for the person to complete the slap".

I was born and braught up in Kd, I still live there. This happened not too far from my street leading to my house. I am not a religious nor an ethnic bigot, but it is things like this that makes one to conclude that Islam is blood sucking religion.

I am from Orsumoghu in Ihiala Anambra state, we too don't kill Python. During one Christmas festival like that, my cousin from Lagos killed a Python and nobody knew. After travelling he kept on having troubling dreams about the Python he killed and physical attacks when he wakes up. The bad dreams and attackes stopped when he confided in his parents, they travelled and buried an empty casket cooked and merried the same way we bury humans.

In my Mums Village "Mbosi" they don't kill bush meat, particularly giant rat (Ewi). The day we caught one in our compound my Mum warned us not to cook it with her pot or even eat it. But my sisters prepared it using our pot, ignotingbour mothers warning (we called it fetish and none sense). After consuming it nothing happened to we the male but my sisters mouth were disfigured and their tongue was like that of someone that drank hot water. Few days later it affected my mum after using that same pot to prepare another dish.

I don't know what to believe anymore, but our old tradition should be respected.
