whatever the hypocrisy of tinubu was, he's the game master and wont bother about your sentiment. The number one beneficiary of tinubu policies will still be southwest and other region will try to key in other not to be left out. Tinubu has played a smart game and i will tell you he's the smartest of all major contestant and the best for this kind of job but not the best for a more civil society.
There is nothing like being a game master at the detriment of your own people!

You don't score political points by using your people as bait to achieve your aspirations!
That's not smartness,that is wickedness!
If that's what you refer to as smartness, then you still have a lot to learn about true leadership!

How do you even know he is the best in the job when he is even doing far worse than the former president in the last 100 days in office?
Under his leadership,he floated an already weakened currency with no single immediate production driven plan as backup!
He also removed subsidy without providing a buffer or amelioration plan to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal!

Those two blunders have now further weakened the naira and may likely drive our currency towards #1000 against a dollar before the end of the year and you think I'm being sentimental?

Maybe when you cannot afford the basic necessities because the purchasing power of your salary or income has dwindled due to inflation, you will start to realize the error you made....maybe that's when reality will finally dawn on you just like that of buhari's disastrous 8 years as president!

Obi suppose to be in prison
You agbadorians talk too much with zero action!
Why are you wasting time?
He is not a governor or Senator!
No immunity covers him!
He didn't run or seek asylum in a foreign country...He is right there in anambra state!
Send the EFCC or DSS to arrest him nah
Why didn't you also seek the arrest of Atiku that is aggressively pressing your paymaster's neck at Chicago?
Ohh I guess its because he doesn't want problems with his Fulani masters but wants to flex muscle with Obi!
If the obviously paid writer believes he is corrupt, let him press charges against Obi at the court which is also under the control of the executive not writing epistles like a drunken man whose serial cheating ex-wife ditched him for a better guy!
Too much shalaye and chest beating no dey full basket!
I dare you guys to arrest him!

You're not being sincere. There is nothing like nothern masters. The game of politics is what tinubu played and we all understood.
You think i'm being unfair right?
Okay!

Who was the APC leader after Akande?

How come akande was able to call out Buhari but Tinubu could not?

How many terms did Buhari do?

Did Tinubu say that Buhari did well in security?
If Tinubu said so then it implied he was part and parcel of the failure because he had sold Buhari to us as the best thing since sliced bread and cannot be exonerated from blame!

It was so glaring from the first term that Buhari was a monumental disaster waiting to happen yet the same Tinubu aggressively campaigned for Buhari in 2019(second term) while refusing to call out Buhari for how he handled the security of the country esp the massacre that happened at a church in Ondo state and other states in the north!

All this was because he wanted to become president hence the only way to pander to the northern caliphate was to look the other way while Buhari divided and regionalized the country!

Yes Tinubu played the 'game of politics' to the detriment of his own people who were largely affected by the onslaught of the rampaging herdsmen in some communities in the SW which necessitated the creation of amutekun by the SW governors!

Fairness is being able to call a spade a spade not axe!
Tinubu was silent despite all the atrocities committed by Buhari simply because he didn't want to upset or anger his fulani masters who were loyal to Buhari!

Its that simple!

I never supported buharis administration. What i do know is buhari was a step to tinubu achieving his goal.. His administration would have been better but he chose to sideline tinubu and tinubu waited patiently.
The highlighted is stale and illogical!
Even Tinubu openly said Buhari had done very well
In other words,he was either lying to Nigerians or he was simply trying to pander to his fulani masters at the detriment of his own people!
If the former leader of APC Bamdele Akande could call out Buhari for poor leadership, what stopped Tinubu from doing the same when it was obvious that Buhari was taking us to a seeming economic crisis?
Even now,Buhari's 100 days in office was far better than Tinubu's 105 days in office!
May we not end up saying Buhari was better than Tinubu because so far its going that way!

Ok i agree with this. I still believe asorock cabals will be more difficult for obi to handle if he was there, just the way goodluck administration was frustrated.
Whatever everyone feels, lets hope the new government get it right within four years. I still believe Nigerians themselves need to be productive individually to reduce importation.
What has been done by the current administration that also supported the 8 years failure of Buhari to provide the basic requirements like efficient power supply, unified tax regime, reduction of transport cost, reliable security system and accessible roads for businesses to run smoothly in the country?
All this present administration has done is to keep increasing taxes for an already taxed private sector!

She is absolutely right!
We sell raw materials that we have been blessed with and buy the finished products from these foreign countries!
Crude oil, gold and other untapped materials dont make much compared to when they are now finished products!
For instance, crude oil has got many finished products like PMS,diesel, aviation fuel,LPG,CNG,kerosene etc that should be fetching us billions in funds in naira if we had refineries!
Netherlands is one of the biggest exporters of dairy products and chocolate despite not having enough cocoa farm lands and this is because they import cocoa from many countries but make 20 times that when they process the raw materials into finished products!
With our massive land mass and abundant and valuable raw material,we can even do much more hence reduce poverty!

A crime committed by who? , I guess you are more intelligent than the judges and American government, keep deluding yourself
Really? grin grin
Whose account were the funds forfeited?
Ohh i guess its the bank account that should be held accountable and not Tinubu? Smh grin
You are actually the one not only deluding yourself but actually mocking your combined english Teachers!
His account received a huge sum of money and he never complained but rather withdrew from the same account!
When he was asked by the FBI.he first lied that the huge funds were contributions from the company he worked Mobil but when his company was subpoenaed, they explicitly said such funds were not handed to him for safekeeping!
He had initially claimed not to know the source of the funds or the sender only to agree after overwhelming evidence showed he actually knew the sender!
If you suddenly find a large sum of money in your bank account,do you start spending it or do you report such funds to your bank esp if your dont know the origin?
All these are contained in that investigation and case by the FBI which led to a forfeiture of the funds!
Next time read the entire documents(thats if you can) of that case instead relying on partisan updates from your apc whatsapp group!

GeneralDae:
Tinubu was in Nigeria working when this case came up.

He found out that his account in U.S Citibank which was also his family account with 1.4 million dollars was blocked.

He then got to know that is due to a drug case investigation whereby he received money at some point from Akande a politician who was a family friend to his wife's family.

Tinubu was never charged to court by U.S to determine if he was part of the drug ring of Akande brothers (who were sent to prison but never even mentioned Tinubu as part of their ring).

U.S.A courts were focussed on the account and reasons why they should cease the account.

In the end, Tinubu and his family sued the U.S for his account and became the claimants.

Eventually it was agreed that 460,000 dollars be forfeited based on U.S money laundering law where about 500,000 dollars is forfeited from accounts with huge funds whenever there's a suspicion of the account receiving money linked to crime.

So this was no criminal case. He wasn't charged to determine his involvement in the drug case. DEA report wasn't even involved. Only IRS.
Too much epistle!
The case is all over the internet!
The funds in his possession was linked to narcotics!
He was given a civil forfeiture which proved the funds where from a criminal nature!
What does the constitution say about a presidential candidate having a civil forfeiture?
What was his initial statement when asked about how he acquired over 600k dollars and yet his monthly pay from Mobil was above 2k?

It was INEC that put themselves under pressure in the first place.

Why say everything will be transmitted electronically, and do the exact opposite. Shouldn't their rule and regulations bind them?

Make it make sense.
They didn't just say it,it was contained in the rules and guidelines that results will be electronically transmitted from the PU....
Hearing the justice say otherwise or that there is no such thing as electronic transmission in the inec rules and guidelines is preposterous!

You guys are getting it muddled up!
No one is talking about him being arrested or convicted!
The question is was a civil forfeiture done or not?
If yes, then it simply meant that he stands disqualified based on the constitution because the funds in his possession which was forfeited had to do with crime

It was not a crime, if it was, there would be a mug shot, stop deluding yourself, if a kidnapper saved money in First bank and he was caught and prosecuted his money in central bank will be siezed, that does not make First bank to be kidnappers, Tinubu cannot buy America to lie for him. Use your brain
Read again and stop being emotional!
Civil forfeiture implies that a crime was committed.....he was set free after the forfeiture was made!
Civil and criminal forfeiture are almost the same....the difference is that if it was a criminal forfeiture, tinubu would have been release from jail after serving a sentence!

This should not even have been one of the reasons put forward to challenge the election validity.

The lawyers should have known this. If the case was labeled a civil dispute and forfeiture, then why label it a conviction. Most civil disputes don't even have jail term.

civil forfeiture, legal process that enables a government to seize property and other assets belonging to persons suspected of committing a crime. The main purpose of civil forfeiture is to provide an effective means of prosecuting criminals and fighting organized crime.

A crime was committed by the current president years ago in a foreign country which had to do with funds used for narcotics!
A civil forfeiture took place!
The constitution states clearly that such individual stands disqualified!

Whether civil or criminal forfeiture, both have to do with the criminal activities of the criminal and the criminal stands disqualified!
