flexyrule:And later when balance come low and body come weak, they will start claiming they worked for Nigerians, therefore, Nigerians must help them. But na for club some of them finish their money, only with the exception of Davido (the only one wey I fit go out of my way for). |
People have a lot of funny comments here but it's a serious issue. My concern is.... What becomes his fate going forward? Will he continue to stay in SA or will he be deported back to Nigeria? |

I like your write up. You write well, must be intelligent. Anyway, I am a man and I agree that most men have the tendency to cheat, it only takes the grace of God not to. Funny enough, I met my wife on "Baddoo". I was working for one of the telecoms companies then and we had a product package that contained Baddoo and I wanted to test the app to know more about it and luckily I met my madam and we have been married for close to 9years with 2kids. I have never cheated on her though I occasionally feel attraction for other women but I always quickly kill it or avoid it totally. I promised myself I would never cheat because, I never thought I would come this far in life. I lived a kind of rough life in the past and God still blessed me and brought me to where I am today. I thank God for His mercies. Here are some of my discoveries about men, women and marriage: 1. Men will always be men (they were built to desire women wether you accept it or not) Not all men cheat, but the percentage might be low (and coupled with so much moral decadence now) 2. Women are smart and manipulative, so men have to tolerate more and pretend they don't see most things (so that life can be convenient) 3. Marriage is a 50:50 thing, if you have a good wife/husband, don't take her/him for granted, appreciate their effort and commitment (where there is commitment and effort). 4. I discovered that one actually needs principles to guide you through your life course, for example, the bible - God says don't do this and that (my brother/sister it's for your own good. If you doubt it, go ahead and knock yourself out and have a hard experience) 5. I am not the best of husbands but I always try to do my best (but I no go die before my time sha) 6. Some men can cheat and still love their wives very much (but I don't like deceit besides, cheating is a lot of hard work on its own - having to work hard to impress your side chick and work extra hard to keep it away from your wife, so that your days can be long on earth). I can't afford it anymore. I simply stay away from anything of such and I pre-occupy my mind with the goals I want to achieve in life. 7. Marriage is a fine blend of happiness and sadness (just savour both and keep moving). 8. Marriage is a big sacrifice (a lot is at stake, most importantly - the children) 9. If you have the privilege of dating before marriage, please do it well and enjoy it, cos the sparkle dey reduce inside the marriage but it doesn't reduce the love. Infact, love increases) 10. Husband and wife should work together to build things that will secure them and their family in the future. 11. Distrust, selfishness, lack of appreciation, too much smartness, too much strength, too much discipline, too much control can bring a marriage to its knees. Just do the best you can and leave the rest to God. |
brain54:Very apt of you. I think say na only me dey feel that way. If na football, them go say they are better, now its music and still beefing Nigerians that they are better than us and that we are just loud. You cant just be loud for nothing, it wont be sustainable. |
Does your own father have a private jet? You forget your own father to start talking about your father-in-law. This one na small boy. |
Absuchat:Still Nigerians! |
Which selfishly monopolistic Dangote? He is not worthy of mentoring anybody. Someone that hates competition and growth of others. |
Kog45:It's Defibrillator not defribillator! |
ceejay80s:Even this narrative is not convenient. Suicide is only understandable where a person lives alone but when with people, everybody becomes a suspect. So, there's nothing wrong in doing thorough investigation. Lastly, rate of Nigerians killing themselves now is worrisome, we still have a whole lot to go through together and work for before this country can get better. No one should die unnecessarily. President Tinubu start doing your work please, We must build this country! |
ravensckar:Is anything normal in this country? Are we normal people in this country? Our problem in Nigeria is about us, we are the country's misfortune and not the other way round. She did not even show it well, it's much worse than that. And it's not about "Unilag", it's about Nigeria and Nigerians. We simply just bunch of useless people. A student got that hostel for about 10% of that amount and see what she (a female hostel) is subletting for? And later we shout Tinubu, Atiku, Abacha, Obasanjo, Jonathan but we are much worse than these people. |
Anywhere you have aggregation of females it doesn't end well most times. Women are purely emotional beings, when they love and fight, they do it without caution. They have been known to be very dangerous when taken for granted. Finally, the batch of youth we currently raise in this country will be the gradual downfall of this country. The current crop of Nigerian youth are largely so irresponsible, reckless, thoughtless, clout-chasing, very trivial, very weak and they continue to lose the basic qualities and life ethics that will keep them alive. They just want to do everything for the social media ("glams & grams"). Run after so-called celebrities while neglecting their own personal lives. |
Truly, an act of betrayal but done in all honesty. I will advice you to act angry too for a while and allow everybody to simmer down. You can later apologise to your mother and tell her it was accidentally sent. Your mother is your mother. You will have to be very skilled, patient, intelligent and tolerant in handling her. A lot of mothers are like this. In my situation too, they sometimes quarel and won't settle it within themselves but they would want to bring their children who have been good cousins into their issue. Women are the problems of this world but there would be none without them. |
It's psychological bro! She is mentally trying to subdue and control you. That's if you allow it, the ball is in your court. If you can live with it, it's fine and if not, reject it! All the time!! |
modernWays:You people and double standards. Your illogical reasoning... And where a man is comfortable enough to take care of everyone, the wife starts dragging equality with him. Well, life has a way balancing itself out anyway, all your one-sided reasoning will be automatically be canceled out. |
I have a lot of hatred for this Dangote of a man now, after reading all he did to the other Ibeto Cement man from the Enugu who was importing cement - running him out of business, using the government as a weapon to always perpetrate himself and autonomy of his company upon Nigerians. He has been accused of same against Bua. Who knows how many more he has done without our knowledge. He implicated Emefiele too. Now coming to Lagos to setup a Refinery, I think something is fishy about Dangote and Tinubu/LASG, and we need to be wary of this their relationship. It will not end well for the common man. Dangote is far too selfish a man to do any good for the average Nigeria. |

Dailymice:And you want us to believe this crap. If a man treated a woman so badly as she claimed, he would never sell his property to move to anywhere with her. Never! Me wey I no get any problems with my wife sef, refused to sell my property. Let us borrow money first to go, when the place work out for us, we can sell our property. I don't trust all these abroad setups.... |
But how come EFCC uses so much force and illegality to arrest the youth for supposed/suspected internet fraud and leave the politicians who have actually ruined/continue to ruin the country? Was the EFFC created to run after "Yahoo Boys"? Obiviously, they have actually abandoned the ECONOMIC crimes in their duty to chase after only the FINANCIAL crimes. |
richmond500:Unfortunately... Only a very few can see this. It is just the sad truth. We all want a great Nigeria on a platter of gold without paying the price for greatness. |
Afamsi:Exaggeration! It's a risk none of them is willing to take. The destruction will be huge on both sides. Why didn't America or UN stand up against Putin when he invaded Ukraine? I guess Isreal support against Palestinians is their response. |
Wujio:No one is innocent, neither US, nor Russia or any other. Everyone is only trying to protect their interests and form allies with those whose interests align with theirs. |
"If they go on strike you save money" - what a mentality! And I thought this man was sensible. What of the lives that will be lost as a result of the strike. |
I will continue to say it The Police under the Egbetokun will fail like never before. IGP Egbetokun should be removed, he is indulging the policemen to extort Nigerians. He will fail woefully in the coming days... |
Baba rest abeg. You no get problem, except you want to start creating some for yourself. In this current harsh economy, you are getting support from in-laws (you said you are not man enough). When I don use all my food money buy fuel finish, I don tire. I need support. God bless that your in-law family, let the support keep coming. You saw their standard before you married their daughter, shey you no ever think am that time. Yes, I am not man enough, I cannot die young, let them support me, if I really need the support. |
Why will they occupy when it was given to Senior civil servants who already have houses. |
I want to see the response of LASG about this incident. They have been so focused on Train transport and have neglected all Lagos roads. The Lagos roads are now very bad, everywhere you go. Dangerous potholes everywhere. This is so reckless on the part of Lagos state government. Are we all going to ride train or drive our cars on rail tracks? |
Find house for Oworo, Bariga, Shomolu na. Very easy, like.... 500 - 750 you go get house |
This O'Level no enter anywhere now. How e take go University? |
MrFixIt007:BUA had supplied distributors at higher rate before going public to announce reduction. So, what happens to the previous supplies without any reduction? That would be total loss on the part of the distributors and so much delay in sales. |
KingAzubuike:Everyone is aware he donated except you. The publication is online for you to check. |
