Why are you seeking advice when you know what you did is wrong. You are simply selfish and thoughtless. It's not about the refund anymore, but high hopes and inconveniences caused. You take whatever happens... You will be the loser in this case, I am sure. |
osmosis101: He would have been used to series of heart attacks. |

I will save this your story... Cos I am in the process of going into tech too! |
I read this story with rapt attention and I learned a lot from it. It is just quite unfortunate how we live and conduct ourselves in this country. You will understand better if you have had terrible experience with agencies and even community people. But one thing that makes me not to take Nigerians seriously is how we continuously lie to ourselves, always denying the truth and pointing accusing fingers at some set of people - as if we don't know where our problems are coming from. The country is where it is today because we all behave very very badly (with the exception of a very few upright ones - very few). The Nigerian police is bad? Yes, it is comprised of Nigerians and most Nigerians are terrible people, civilians or otherwise. The Politicians are terrible? Yes, they are Nigerians and most Nigerians are like that wherever and in whatever capacity. Just name any sector you want to - Schools, Courts, Security Agencies, Passport Offices, Bus Stations, Market places, Communities, Government offices, Private Companies, Hospitals, Social Joints and even religious places... and it is simply same sad story of bad conduct. We have actually lost it as a people. I can't understand how we got to this point. The truth is that... Nigeria is not going anywhere and it won't ever get better if we continue like this. This is just the beginning... |
Useless Nigerian Soldiers who are only good at harassing harmless people but can't confront the armed. Bunch of useless fools in camouflage. |

Anguldi:. Nigeria is still worth dying for, for those who her worth unlike "runners"... |
Free2Fly:Truly I admire your courage but it may not work all the time. You see majority of these policemen, most especially, the rank and file, they are stark criminals. As in hardened criminals in uniform. They implicate people at will, they can do and undo cos the country is already a big mess. Can't start recounting sad experiences with them. |
vanbonattel:That Bayo Onanuga is a bastard! Should be sacked!! He is busy responding to Atiku rather than tackling the problems facing us daily. |
AoifeNightfall:Na wa o... Reading all the comments, makes me uncomfortable. |
Namaster:Ironically that part of the human body doesn't really degenerate as you have painted it. If it is not diseased, it will always be cosy. The worst that can happen to it is expansion but hardly losses all its values, most especially when the individual is still young. |
This is the more reason why lots of agencies should be moved out of Abuja and to others parts of the country. Over concentration of headquarters in Abuja is of no meaningful significance but of corruption instead. These people feel they own the all the agencies and truly they have successfully infiltrated all these institutions in majority with their people but with no progress or development to the country. |
Ttalk:Well said! |
NeoWanZaeed:So what's the essence of the warning you read in the beginning. Too much social media, too little sense. |
In fact, it feels as if I was the one you borrowed your car. I feel so much gratitude and appreciation for you because people like you are too few in today's world. And I want to thank you for your good heart. May God continue to have your back and be there for you in your time of need. You will rise above that car (you will buy better cars). God bless you and please, forgive his carelessness and just move on... You remind of when I was planning to travel out and needed money, even some close family members turned me down but a friend from now where borrowed me millions though I later failed to travel and since returned his money but I will never forget him. |
stuffs4me:No one is "chest-beating" anything here, we are just worried about our future and the future of our children... |
Jogs1900:Thank you sir. Na only you dey see am. Others they see tribal sentiments but ignoring the fact that Northerners are the most corrupt in this country. Just look at how they manipulated Emefiele. Even though, we know he is also a thief but they seriously used him. |
When other tribes emerge the richest now, the Northern groups will claim marginalization of northerners. The northerners always feel they own the country, therefore, Nigeria should be in their pockets, which is what they have been doing anyway and why we are where we are today. |
Jogs1900:You started well but ended disappointingly. So EFCC should be disbanded because one corrupt and biased ethnic group feels they are being targeted? This is very disappointing! But the so-called Northern groups didn't raise any objections when other tribes were investigated and prosecuted, so when Northerners are involved, then EFCC becomes sponsored! |
But on a serious note, this particular family's issues are still a reflection of how our country is and has been, in chaos! Ruined by greed, selfishness, dishonesty, utter desperation, falsifications, diversions, manipulations, threats and all sorts of terrible antics etc. |
You talk as though na everybody go blow for this life. No be so bro, let's learn to appreciate good contributions if there are. Everything must not be money, that how our lives become more and more difficult, cos we choose to worship money. |
Kreamie:When the past education minister moved NOUN (National Open University of Nigeria) from VI to Abuja abruptly, no one raised any tribal concerns then. Our tribal sentiments keep setting this country backwards. Its funny how Igbos will see nothing wrong when any of their kingsmen is caught in corruption web. Shebi na here we dey when late former Police IG Tafa Balogun went to jail under a Yoruba President and Yorubas did not back him up for his wrong doing, he was left to carry his cross. I am sure he never recovered from the imprisonment till he later died. But if it's other tribes, they start playing the dirty tribal game shamelessly. |
Lovenorth:The Nigerian system was deliberately design to corruption anyone. Stealing and diversion of funds is like a competition in the public service. A system with so much loopholes for you to divert 100s of millions of Naira or even billions, the most righteous will be tempted to take some money and after all no punishment whatsoever. Las las na plea bargaining go end and another cycle of stealing. |
madridguy:You know it's a vicious circle. What we always don't know is that the wickedness we plant today will consume us tomorrow. I saw a video of some policemen (a particular policeman) using cane to flog a man in front of his wife. That one held the cane, the next is he started slapping him, all because you are wearing uniform and carrying gun. If you drop all those things, can you fight him one-to-one? |
If only we can trust the Police, Army and others to always do the right thing. With the way this country has gone so far, I don't trust anybody again and don't believe anything again. How are we sure they are truly "One Chance"? 2females & 1male is somehow to me. I assume the man is the Driver, so the 2women are now the robbers? May be to rob only females sha, not males. Again, are there any weapons used by these guys? |
Acidosis:It all depends at the level of operation. Some may be selling from big shops or market stores while some sell in traffic. No be same level. Yes, grass and grace dey there. |
I pray and hope say later... You no go ask Nigerians to donate money for any issue. |
We do not need to be so religious but to be honest and sincere in our daily lives. Nigeria will be great. But at the moment, we only dance to the gallery. |
I am so sorry, this one really caught me. May the Lord have mercy on your soul and us the living. It's today I understand that the choices we make as individuals could have serious consequences on others who may not have made the same choices. I am so sorry, may your soul rest in peace young woman! Suicide should never be an option. We die trying to make it better, not giving up. |
This one is acting like Jada Pinkett's husband (Will Smith). |
