Mamas please I has a kwayshun, biko don't read and pass. I usually have this stretching feeling around my mid abdomen sometimes it is so uncomfortable that I can't stand erect, has anybody experienced this? Please share your experience. Do I need to see my ob/gyn? My next appointment is Wednesday.
P.S : my placenta is low lying, is it related in anyway?

I'm just so emotional today. I'm 20 weeks today and for the first time I felt sure kicks after being on bedrest the past week cos of spotting due to stress. The kicks are assurance that everything is alright. Somehow I feel like my baby is a boy even though I want a girl.

Heavenly Father, some weeks ago we complained of morning sickness, tiredness and all bit today you have preserved us all and we now compare baby kicks and bumps. Father you who did this for us will complete the good work in our lives.
Father we ask you to fill our hearts with peace and remove from us the spirit of fear which the devil is trying to plant in our hearts. Thank you for we know you have done it and again the appropriate and appointed time we will have our babies Hale and hearty.
Father for those in the ATC room, we pray that you remember them in such a way that people will marvel and glorify your name through your works in their lives.

Goldenruby and GenyEbere, post natal depression is very real. I think mine was mostly from the shock of after delivery pains and anger at my mum, MIL and other older women around me as to why they all psyched me for labour and left out the other part. Don't worry you'll be fine.

JUMAYIN, I also experienced dat itching and burning sensation after kpekus Chai and I thought I was alone.

Team November, hafa? Morning sickness packed his bags dis week for me 15w 4 days (172 days to go). Godmother and PrincessKF, dnt worry e hear by 16 weeks or so years shld be fine, I stopped vomiting around 18 weeks with my first and I caught up on all the meat and fish I missed (I craved grilled fish from crunchies fast food for two weeks straight ).

Thanks for calling me out ms is doing me strong thing (hyperperemesis gravidum), I've been in and out of the hospital but I'm stronger now and I have started eating too. I'm 12weeks +2 days today and I gv God all the glory. Congrats to all the mamas dat hv born.

Moving forward mamas, please can anyone give tips on how they coped with severe MS? I can't seem to keep any food down, virtually everything I eat or drink makes me throw up (sorry TMI). I tried taking glucose water but same thing happened.

I'm already feeling weak because I'm not eating well and have no appetite.

Dis was me with my first nothing worked except drinking very cold funky water(funkified with ribena or 7up) and eating meat pie. As Godmother said lie down for five minutes or so after eating, infact don't move after eating. Spicy foods triggers heartburn for me.

Yes I did, (though vacuum aided cos I was weak and vomiting as reaction to misoprostol) but my doctor told me all things being equal I could birth a 4kg baby without tear as I am a tall/big girl and possess a typical gynecoid pelvis. Has ur doctor done a pelvimetry for u. Abi is he sharing cs based on assumption?

Ah! God is wonderful. We hv reach 8 now, now. I pray that more people will come here to testify especially our ATC sisters. Omaibaji and ambient, please don't mind the doctor. My first baby was 1.85kg at 32 weeks and he was born at 39 weeks weighing 3.6kg. To put ur mind at ease, u can Google pregnancy week by week, u will see wat to expect each week and d estimated weight of her foetus.
Happy and healthy 9 months to us all.
