As for morning sickness, my dear, just take it one day at a time, before you know it your baby will be out and your u won't even remember the morning sicki. By the time you mingle with your teamies now, you won't even remember morning sicki again. You are not alone, that's the most important thing.

Hi mommies, I am 40W5D today, I had a membrane sweep/strip done yesterday by my doctor (used gloved fingers to massage my cervix with the hope of inducing labour- it was very painful).

Afterward I felt cramps in my lower abdomen and also noticed blood stained mucus like discharge. He said if I do not go into labour within 72hours of the sweep, then it didn't work.

Who has had this done before and how effective is it in inducing labour.

I believe by now you go don start to dey sing in tongues, na labour dey start so oo. May God make it easy for you.

Hey mama, do you know this seed (dabino), Hausa guys that hawk tiger nut in wheelbarrows sell it, you can get it, de-shell it to get to the seed, that seed is a life saver, I used to take both the dabino and the seed together until someone told me it aids contraction, don't know how true it is but I stopped taking it, I was only taking the seed, mind you it's very hard to crack. I keep chewing it until I crack it.

I have been taking pregnacare and I don't have any ish with it. It's smell is reduced to the extent that you don't even smell it, you know how we are with smells. But like someone says every body differ. Do what your Dr and your heart asked you to do. .

I can remember there was a time my Dr told me that if I feel it's making me eat too much, that I should be skipping it, as in take one today, don't take tomorrow, take another the 3rd day. Hope this helps .

Hi mommas in the house. Please I’ve come with my wahala again. I travelled and was given some drugs as my antenatal drugs. But I went with my previous ntenatal drugs from my former hospital. This new one is in one pack and because I didn’t see the necessary ones I was taking, I went ahead to take it alongside my vitamins. Until today I had time to read through and I realized it contained all I’ve been taking. I’m worried. Hope the overdose won’t have any effect on the baby. Basically the iron supplements and folic acid.
Also I noticed my baby no longer kicks me as before. I’m in my 28th week. And even when he kicks not as strong unlike before which was very strong. I’ve dine a scan and his heartbeat is still strong. The nurse said it’s probably because the space there has reduced. It’s my first time pregnant please. I’m just worried about a lot of things.

Folic acid is a water soluble vitamins so it cannot last more than 24hrs in your system, that's why you are advised to take it daily. I don't think the iron supplements should pose a problem, but I'd advise you stick to just one. Your nurse is right, it's getting tight in there for the beautiful one. Happy bumping

Please I'm down with malaria 1+ and was given lonart today in the Hosp. Asked the doc if it's safe in pregnancy and he gave me the go ahead.
I'm still skeptical about taking the drug as I've taken one of the coartem kinda drugs earlier b4 I found out I was preggy which I'm not entirely sure is safe in pregnancy. Just don't want to repeat same again that's why I want to be extra sure
