We must do everything to keep Mascherano. We are not sure we bought the Poulsen who played in Sevilla or the flop who just played for Juve. |

ola olabiy: the question is: when was the time sub-saharan africans were ahead of any other race? good you knw that north africans were better at a stage. and asians too. but, what about blacks? when? or is this due to some inherent factors? There was never a time like that. I also want to believe that all across Europe to Asia, these people learnt from each other through repeated contacts they might gave had. Sub-Saharan Africa must have been isolated . yes it could be due to some psychological factors. Some people argue that all races have different philosophies. |

When Europeans were backwards and behind Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, where they inherently less intelligent than people from those places? It depends on how u define intelligence. |

gadogado: The point Im making is, collectively as a group, Africans constitute the least intelligent people on the globe. In contrast, Africans are some of the best athletes in the world. There are obviously going to be exceptions to the rule (putting a Nigerian student in a class with Japs and Brits) but this does not in anyway negate the fact that we are naturally disorganized which in my opinion is a component of lack of intelligence. We also lack other components of intelligence such as foresight.
Nigeria started at the same level with Asian countries, as far as economic indicators but because they're more intelligent, they have grown to supersede. Look, the examples of Africas lack of brain power is evident, you see it daily. So why deny it? Having a sense of organization and intelligence are two different things. I agree we lack the first as seen in the Africa's development today. |

EzeUche22: WHY DO SOME PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF HAVE SELF-HATE?
Do you think all of Europe was advanced? When Rome crumbled, Europe went into a Dark Age where life was short and brutish. Barbarian white people were running around, while in Africa, our kingdoms were rising. This is not Afrocentrism, this is history. Africans need to stop allowing whites to dictate our history and reclaim our history for ourselves.
What do you call Ethiopia? They had a literary script, monuments, and a rich culture. I don't hate myself in anyway and I'm very proud to be African. But Europe was not just about Rome and Greece , they were many more smaller empires and civilizations at that time. And the talk of Ethiopia, I agree with that. But again that is just a part of Africa. Far away from Egypt Sudan and Ethiopia, what were other African regions like? In the 18th century South Africa, the Zulu kings for instance were still living in sheds and running around half naked, the bushmen of the Kalahari were still exposing their asses and sleeping under the stars. |

EzeUche22: What color do these Ancient Egyptians look like?
They do not look white. there are other wall paintings from Egypt that depicted fair skinned people. |
Politics › Re: Milton Friedman On Slavery And Colonialism. A Must Watch For Africans by bgees(m): 7:49pm On Aug 15, 2010 |
Lets compare the achievements of ancient Greece , Rome,Persia and other smaller empires, the structures they built like the coliseum ,the palaces , the castles and compare those to what Black Africa looked like that time. You will discover that we were living in the dark and we never matched the white man. And don't even mention ancient Egypt , it was only a small part of the continent and its population was not completely black.
I unlike most people here will not let baseless Afrocentrism get the better of me. Black Africa never matched the civilizations of Ancient Europe. Our continent is rich but we never developed ourselves and we paid the price by letting the white man develop or rob us in the process. |
