We have all at one time or the other involved in online dating. Some of us are still involved unlike me. You add a girl on facebook, moved her to whatsap, then ask her out. It's all online dating.

I have had many funny experiences.

Let me share one.

It was common in those days that when chatting with a girl and you mention your location, even if she is in the same location with you, she will claim to be in another farther location.

If you say you are in lagos, she will say she is in Enugu.

I tricked a lady into revealing her true location, when she realized we are in the same lagos, she quickly added "but I am now in Benin schooling".

So if you want a meetup, you will send them transport money. And they will not show up.

Hope you guys have stopped sending transport money to a girl in Ekiti. Trust me they are in lagos. I have busted 2 girls like that.

This is nairaland; they won't understand your intention. After going through your topics, I observed that your ilk love literature, and writers are the ones with best perceptions about life. They usually exude and maintain best moral standards, but in a rotten world of ours, writers will have hard time getting friends with like minds in terms of literary prowess, ornate armoury, religious inclinations etc.

I'm a writer (this is not my main moniker), 37, and have no one I can share ideas with.
