My dear, there are principles in life, the Bible said that when a woman makes a vow and the husband is not comfortable with it, he can cal it off.

Theres obviously a mental health issue of epidemic proportions in Nigeria and the Govt has to try to do something about it.

There isn't a good emergency medical attention in Naija.
My father who had signs of stroke walked into UNTH Enugu and left the hospital with a full blown stroke, thanks to Naija medical system.
These guys survived and were supposed to be emergency cases with world class medical attention where their BP, burns, and other medical issues as regards tests should be carried out in minutes, there are good pain killers to numb their pain while burn specialists and culsultants should have taken care of the burns.
What a COUNTRY!!!!

I can bet you that
1. The driver may have died and doesn't have a life insurance.
2. The truck and the products are not insured hence the loss will be too much to bear.
3. The truck may not be road worthy and the driver may not be well trained to lift highly inflammable fluid.
4 the agencies responsible for safety and security just collect bribes and the rot continues

After we all get superstitious and start asking God why all this is happening as if God caused Nigerians to be dumb not following safety precautions.

I wonder how they now galivant with the man who spent 8yrs of the 16 yrs in power whose government was also termed corrupt. I also wonder where they got all the monies for this celebration and if the monies wouldn't have gone into the economy.

Though bad leadership may seem to be the problem, the hard truth is that Nigeria didn't get into this mess because of bad leadership.
A people get from amongst themselves leaders and get exactly what they want be it military or civilian rule.
Though a lot of African countries are doing well now, the issue is actually a black man issue and 're-colonisation is necessary to improve the black race.
We have got the worst value system to to the human race. Black me dress expensive all over the world except they can't afford it. We calculate God's blessings by material things especially cars and houses even when we don't need them, nobody wants to be left out, a lot of Nigerians borrow to live to standard just to impress nobody and that's the more reason we hand the petty theives and allow the big thieves get into power.
The supposedly good people do nothing making them worse that the aledged bad people .
Why can't Nigerians protest or revolt it they feel plundered by the political class? When I read tribal fights I see here on nairaland by our youths I know that salvation is far coz those who should see the issue and seek to change it are even reinventing the problems.
I am already vexed to even say more.

There are lots of factors affecting the current day naija man and families.
Almost every home have sex issues now but some homes are good at being able to conceal it.
Choices also differ, I am yet to see the naija guy man who doesn't/haven't cheat/ed.
Also all naija women are now taking to cheating too and calling it revenge.
Religion is only an opium now for the naija couples as they are holy in places of worship but jump out to cheat and revenge cheat.
