Hobbessian, according to webster can be defined as the analytical automation or brokerage, geared towards rendering matter to defie logic, so as to utilise the extremeties hidden in the solar system" ![]() |
@ Snapshot Very, very, very, very, very good talk. They must reap what they have sown. |
As much as i agree with Na so and kemjisuper, you cannot but grin with glee that those corrupt politicians are sowing the seeds that they have planted. They must realise that as my brothers and sisters in Naija are sleeping with one eye open so too must they follow suit. They must realise that they cannot deprive the youths of a good life with their attempt to liquidate the entire assets of Nigeria without repercussions. Very soon they will not be able to spend their ill gotten loot and no place will be safe for them. Mean while platinumnk, which kain add be that? I nearly lol die. If na 15 years ago i for apply but old age don de near so ![]() |

@ megadeath SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME THESES PICTURES ARE FAKE. ![]() |
Finally a solution to our fraudulent tactics of taking over aged players to the u17 has been found. We all have brothers at home, or almost all of us anyway. There is no way a 13 or 15 year old footballer can look or play at the kind of level these boys have been playing. especially in a country where age group development is dead. So where these boys come get the skills at that age. I remember the story of Osondu, when that belgium club bought him thinking they would develop his skills further and under them he would grow physically because he was supposed to be 15 years of age. They were horrified to find out that instead of growing taller my guy was growing sideways. Where 30 year old man wan grow to again? neither did he improve skill wise. Really bad investment. God catch all of them. This has always been the problem of Naija, putting blockheads in positions of authority, from president of the country to NFF chairman. Thunder fire all of them. |
God fear catch me!!!!! So naija no change at all? which kain thing be this? are you sure this pictures are current? May God help us |
Funny topic; of course Nigerians abroad are better off than their home based counterparts for one simple reason, compared to Nigerians abroad, Nigerians at home do not have the same level of support to succeed in whatever you want to do. I came here with a marketing background. I was lucky to do what needed to be done to get a job that enabled me to train as an engineer, and still pay for college to study being an info system auditor. Do you know how expensive it is to go to college here? but the government paid for everything and gave me 2k allowance per month for four years and still paid my salary. Is there any institution or programme in Naija that will do that? Apart from the fact that almost nothing works in Nigeria, the govt is guilty of one very important thing, they kill dreams. Here you can do whatever you want to do so long as it is whithin the boudaries of the law. But lets get one thing straight. There is nothing like home. I miss home like crazy. The good thing about yankee is if you are smart and stay out of trouble, you can lay a solid foundation for yourself back home. Financialy, structurally, and career wise. This place just does not have the same feel as Naija. |
Forgot this important point; if for any reason you feel you are not ready to take the interview you can reschedule your appointment. You are allowed one extension. It happened to me. |
OOOPS I really goofed. I over happy for the guy so tay i no read the post well. Well to answer his question well i think yes. your sponsor will have to send a letter to you stating that he wants to sponsor you and most likely show some of proof of income like a bank statement or phone number and address of employer. My biggest advice to you is not to contradict any information you have or are sending to the consolate. They are just itching to disqualify you for any reason. Also on the day of the interveiw comport yourself very well. There are cameras watching you and your contenance. since you are single These are the things i think are very important to have. 1) Original educational results 2) Birth certificate. The one population census gives out 3) All the results there were given to you at your medical checkup, if the results are not ready does not matter, they will still attend to you. 3)Criminal background check certificate from police headquaters at ikoyi, costs less than 3k. 4) Visa fee. dont change it the consulate, it will cost you more. do it a night b4. 5) Just in case have extra copies of you passport photogragh. Not too sure. Also study for the discipline that you were educated for, they will fire you questions on it. It's been a long time but i think these are the most important. Good luck |
If you love her ignore her and act as if she is not saying anything of interest or importance. Women respond and react only when they feel what they are saying or doing is making an impact. If you dont shout her down. Why take sh@^##t from someone you do not have feelings for? |
@ A-town Let me tell you where you goofed: Any system that encourages you to live over and beyond your means is corrupt. We are seeing the result with the total economic meltdown. Almost everybody is owing minimum of 10k in credit card bills. Not very many can pay mortgages. Cars are being reposesed on a daily basis. How can somebody who earns 25k annually be allowed to buy a house of 1 million? living above your means is corruption. How can a system discourage savings; you are taxed heavily if you leave money too long in your account. If you have a debit card you must use it constantly or charges will be deducted from your account. What kind of system will allow you to market false products on tv. No matter good the marketing is, it is still wrong. I hope you are not allowing the american way of life cloud your logic. It is sweet, but not that sweet for me not to see the vices here. The reason you are myopic in your views is that as a nigerian your understanding of corruption is ghana must go bags, election rigging and policemen standing in broad daylight to collect bribe. Like i said before ours is too brazen and crude. Theirs is more sophisticated. There is no country without sin. Sure it is better than naija when it comes to administration, policing and amenities and i wouldn't want to go back anytime soon, but still they have their issues as well. Also like i stated before, i do not care how corrupt other countries are but that my country is and it must stop. |
As far as i am concerned i do not care how corrupt other countries are but that my country is. The level of corruption in America as far as i am concerned is x2 of Nigeria's. The only difference is they do it with style and finese and in some cases legalise it while ours is brazen, crude and downright archaiec. For instance lets say you want to buy a car and you visit a car dealership the system is such that it is so easy to get the car as little as 4k for a valued car of 30k. The twist is miss one payment and the penalties are structured in a way to make you a slave to that dealer forever. The whole system is such that things are given to you in way thay is so easy but at the end you will be a slave for life. They are so good with mathmatics and law that once you are trapped you will have no legal recourse except to file for bankruptcy and trust me that is the last thing you want to do. In Nigeria when a senator collects money we call it bribery but for here na lobbying. Their own type of online fraud is how to set up your own online home business . You will be conned into parting with hard earned dollars and when you have lost your money the explanation is you did not follow the business module well enough for it to succeed. The marketing and the manner you are conned is so suave that you will never believe it is a con. They even advertise on tv. and get this; the tv station will advise you to be careful of the advert that they are about to show, that they will not be held accountable if you lose money. The reason we are branded is that we are too crude. In all the countries i have gone i have not seen where a policeman will stand in the middle of the road to collect bribe in broad daylight. |
God don butter your bread. Yes you will need one plus your marriage cert. Also make sure your get the population census type birth cerfiticate. |
HABA NAIJAMARK take am easy na. no be fight. Time will tell if he innocent or guilty. But considering the fact that he is wanted and in England it will be hard to prove either until he buys plane ticket and goes back home. What is so important in England that he cannot report himself to his accusers back home. He should know that by virtue of his position in society and the banking sector, there is nothing more important than clearing his name. |
@LAYZIE Which kain argument be dat? you are saying you recognise the fact that kidnapping exist outside the east but where you stay is not that bad because the kidnappers in PH look at your status first. There is no good or bad kidnapping, or small or big kidnappings. Nowhere is safe. If they want you they will get you . The point is it must stop. |
@IKEYMAN&KOOD first at ikeyman: why should i hide my car from sight and why should i shop in a low profile form? The fact that i am doing all this shows that the place is a dangerous place. I should be free to do what i like when i like at anytime i like so long as it is within the contraints of the law and of common sense. That is the way it should be in a safe and free society. Although it should that the security threat is not limited to one specific region in Nigeria. NOW KOOD: why should we not say this stuff on the internet that many people can read? Na lie dem de talk? The purpose of the blog is to air our fustrations, opinions and possible solutions. Our problems are like a huge sore and hiding it will not cure it. It must be opened and diagnosed for the proper solution to be found. My friend went home sometime back and was shot and killed on his way from the airpot. Can you imagine? he had not even gotten home before he died. That had the rest of us thinking if it was worth the investment going back anytime soon. And like i said it is not only in the east. This problem abounds all over the country. It is not that there are no crimes in other country but you are rest assured that everything will be done to apprehend the culprits and future safeguards will be put in place to prevent future occurence. but in our homeland Praying to God for vengeance is your only option. |
@phemmy TRUE |
@bialegend and beaf Must you communicate always through aggressive responses. In fact, must you contribute at all? If you cannot converse in a logical, composed and respectful manner then nobody wants to hear from you. HABA!!!!! Una be small pikin? |
Like i said before Not everyone can lead. followers outnumber leaders. That has always been the way of the world. |
@mbulela True talk. Sadly not everyone can lead. Sadly followers outnumber leaders. That has always been the way of the world. |
@obimid If i tell you what happened to the banking sector you go shiver and faint with disbelief. Those guys have been taking us for a ride from day one. It was the biggest ponzi scheme in the history of Nigeria. They were robbing peter to pay paul. Lets say we establish a company called ''AJANLEKOKO MANUFACTURING LTD'' or we buy controlling shares in the company. Then we approach those corrupt people in the stock exchange to look the other way. Then you also approach a bank to help you push shares. Then the final step is to advertise for people to buy your shares. You start selling and make millions. When people don buy enough and there is millions or billions in the cofers, you withdraw your investment plus profit and start cooking the books to show ficticious profits. Remember this is a limited liability company so you as a person cannot be held accountable if the company fails since the company is a living entity. 'voila you are a billionaire overnight. The same principle applies to the banking sector. The more people that bought shares initially enabled them to pay huge returns. Since they weren't producing anything and had made bad investments abroad and at home and at the same time syphoning millions into their own private pocket, cracks started showing. They could not pay investors anymore and people were not buying shares as well. That was why they were forcing every staff into marketing to try get more money. You see robbing peter to pay paul. |
@ogef4real I swear you are truly hilarious. I laughed till tears came out of my eyes. You should be a comedian. what do you mean by changing gear? I can just imagine the recession as a car in Nigeria and is actually changing gear, ol girl na yawa be that ooooooo ![]() |
True talk viking. |
@HACHNEY you never know bialegend. Poverty and constant disapointments don erode any form of lunacy wey de im body. His comments are always disjointed and hurtful. Always against the tide. GOD HELP US if that is the future of our country. |
@sjeezy8 i swear me too i weak ![]() |
@ bialegend i want to you to cause chaos, how much will cost me? money is no object. I insist you recruit like minded individuals. preferably from the same ethnic group as yours. time is of the essence. reply asap |
@EZEAGU dont't apologise for people that. By the time they realise it, they are already consumed with hate and petty issues. Culture, innovations and technology would have passed them by and they will still be caught up in like you said NAZI like mentality. BIALEGEND '' dont buy that car. you no know say na igbo man import am? FRIEND "but it is cheap in price na". BIALEGEND "i dont care." |
@sjeezy8 Imagine you are a politician and you were opportuned to meat people like bialegend who actually believe in what they are saying, and they are in their thousands. Imagine the kind of havoc you would cause in Nigeria b4 an election. Dollars+ethnicity+stupidity. what a winning combination. You would be governor in no time or better still president. OR WORSE STILL MILLITANT LEADER |
