No hospital spokes person will divulge information about any patient if not given the go ahead to do so.The patient holds the right to conceal/reveal information regarding her/his state of health. So this is false. NB complicated Appendicitis is still not a Major surgery |
We pride ourselves as giant of the continent.we have a huge population But in many aspects of human endeavor we lag behind. Public infrastructures are gone. No stable light whereas in small country like gabon houses don't have generators as power is stable. Angola is constructing a hydro power plant with capacity of 39000 MW. Kigali capital of Rwanda is very neat and orderly. Namibia. Almost all the roads in this country are tarred. Before u can set up hospital in south africa. U must have a good ER and an ambulance.most African countries have reagrd for law and order |
Its no shame to them its a reality check. A shame to African leaders |
he was forced to resign in fact we can say he was sacked by GEJ |
Establish a no-nonsense approach to cleaning up corruption within the department. Rooting out corruption can be accomplished by putting in place a clear line of communication with the citizenry so as to enable the reporting of corrupt police behavior without fear of retribution. Establish an internal affairs investigative process that is governed by a set of internal controls to ensure investigations are handled in a fair and transparent manner. Act aggressively on actionable investigative findings. These processes will serve as a strong deterrent to corruption and result in renewed confidence in the department by its citizens. Once you have a mechanism in place to deter corruption, put in place a series of clear, performance-related benchmarks in order to have a method to analyze and chart improvement. These benchmarks will also provide the department's employees with a set of firm guidelines by which they can gauge their performance, and have security in knowing that they are meeting the expectations of the department's administration. Examples of these benchmarks might be a targeted lower crime rate, a number of successfully conducted community policing projects, reaching a goal of positive community feedback indicators, or establishing a target number of visual impressions per person of patrol units patrolling their neighborhoods. Develop a merit-based reward system to provide incentives for performance and encourage improvement. Put in place broad-based criteria which enables all department employees to have opportunities to achieve a merit-based reward. Ensure that the criteria are strongly tied to the benchmarks mentioned earlier, as a poorly administered merit system can result in charges of favoritism and actually worsen morale. Finally, conduct a public-relations campaign to highlight the new improvements and publicly acknowledge the successes of the department employees who advance in the merit system and encourage additional community feedback. This public-relations campaign will encourage the employees to continue to perform in a superior manner and will inform the citizens about their successes, which should build goodwill within the community. |
Sagging is illegal in some American cities |
We had a meeting of landlord association with some PHCN workers. we were told to that we can have 12 hrs of light per day without rotation. What time do u think is best to have light. 11am to 11PM? |
Its so sad. A respected friend of mine does it this. The irony of this is he and his wife are bankers |
All phcn needs is intelligence gathering and investigation Once they know the houses involved. All they need to do is disconnect light to entire area and publish the names of the perpetrators. So the entire area will know why they are in darkness. |
mavinc4u: .Everything for you pple na God. Person violated traffic law u still dey mention God. If you slap someone I'm sure u go mention God |

Beaf: Bro, we are only trying to help you.. Security agencies will soon pick u up |
manny4life: You're somehow confused brother, you talk about privatization, then you talk about government, which is it? My advice is that yall should STOP peddling LIES. So what it's sold for N200billion, that's about $1.4billion. Who in their right senses want to recoup such amount in a short period of time? I mean, think.THAT'S NOT OF MY ORIGIN, BARTH SAID THEY WILL MAKE 22 BILLION MONTHLY |
Whatever is being felt as increase in power output is not from privatisation but increase in gas provision as reported. This is the same commodity phcn has been requesting for and the same government that made it difficult getting it is now singing availability in the name of privatizing, increasing tariff etc. Nigerian public are unfortunate in their desire for power or better standard of living in that it is the answer they seek not the process of getting to the answer. This is why it is so easy for nnaji to enjoy feeding all Nigerians the half truths. Are phcn workers not the ones still providing the light? The problem is that phcn of eighteen companies is being sold for a total of 200 billion with this increased tariff, it will generate twenty two billion monthly almost 300 billion within a year?. So dont expect any improvement After the so called privatization because the return on investment is too high to invest any more.Any thieving government official past or present can afford to buy and recover their investment in under a year without adding one single power station. That is the rot bpe has placed on the table for Nigerians to swallow hook line and sinker. Unfortunately it is being swallowed because ignorant desperation is endemic to us. |

Honduran Finance Minister Hector Guillen resigned on Wednesday, a day after his wife was arrested with the equivalent of more than $57,600 in her vehicle. Local police stopped Dinora Arambury on Tuesday near Tegucigalpa as she was en route to the city of San Pedro Sula, about 100 miles north of the capital. Arambury was arrested after police found the cash - 1,125,000 Honduran lempiras - a discovery that prompted a media firestorm in the poor Central American country. "I've made the decision to permanently resign my post as finance minister and face up to this situation," Guillen said on Honduran television. Guillen, who was named finance minister in February, said the money his wife was transporting consisted of a loan that she planned to use to pay bills related to the bed business she owns in San Pedro Sula. Guillen's resignation was immediately accepted, Interior Minister Carlos Madrid said at a press conference. The government announced that Deputy Finance Minister Carlos Borjas will replace Guillen on an interim basis. |
Please advice me on what to do definitely. I've been dating her for awhile. But what happened today got me thinking. She's not good with driving but always argues she good. Today while she was driving my car I noticed it again. I started warning her to be careful. She get angry anytime I warn her. I came out of the car to buy something then she decided to turn. While turning she entered a ditch I rushed to the scene to make sure she was safe. Now we are thinking of how to get the car out.after trying for 2hrs I became tired I turned held her by the shoulders then I said You see why I always tell u to be careful. That was my offense. She started screaming at me calling all sort that I should shouldn't tell her that. She made a mistake and that's it I was shocked then I left her she just screaming go go go. No remorse at all. Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has ordered officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, to begin the arrest of any motorist who refuses to stop at a Zebra Crossing for pedestrians to cross. The governor gave this order on Thursday at the finals of the 2012 Be Road Friendly (BRF) Competition, which was organised by the state Ministry of Transportation at the Government Secretariat, Lagos, southwest Nigeria. The governor said he was disappointed that motorists violated the zebra crossing law with impunity without waiting for the pedestrian which had the right of way to cross at a zebra crossing. He asked the pupils, students and others present at the event to vote if they wanted zebra crossing and they responded in the affirmative. Fashola then ordered the General Manager, LASTMA, to begin enforcement of rules on zebra crossing violation across the state immediately, saying that people must learn to stop for pupils and people crossing at a zebra crossing as they had the right of way. The governor reiterated that the attitude of the people to traffic congestion must change because traffic congestion must not be treated as a disease or virus but as a function of the way the people chose to live. “You will not see traffic congestion in Somalia, but in London, New York, Paris and even in Manhattan where even the feet is faster than vehicular movement. There it is bumper to bumper. The truth is that there is a period called rush hour in every major city of the world and Lagos will not be an exception. “It is that hour and period when our children are going to school, parents are going to work and traders are going to the market. So if you are not in any of the three categories, what are you doing on the road at that period? “The highways are not personal highways but shared assets. We must use them one after the other. If we all get on the road there would be traffic. We are sharing a common asset. Our responsibility is to manage it for the common good of all,” he said. Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Kayode Opeifa, said since 2008, Lagos State had adopted the School Traffic Safety Advocacy Programme, two years ahead of the United Nations declaration in 2010 of traffic education and road safety education to the next generation which are children. Opeifa said the feelers the ministry is getting from various non-governmental organisations in the transportation industry is that accidents are fast reducing, adding that the ministry is planning to carry out a review of the entire road transportation law in the state with special focus on children and the physically challenged.
