Actually it doesn't affect GDP in the way which you have portrayed. Gross Domestic Product roughly explained is a measure of the monetary total exports of all goods and the services by a country in a given fiscal year. The drop will better be explained by the fact that since deregulation, it has become less/marginally profitable for profiteers who would usually smuggle fuel already subsidized to "neighboring" countries to sell.

The EFCC said it decided to freeze Fayose’s accounts in line with its mandate in Section 34 of its Establishment Act.

It also said it followed due process in freezing the accounts by applying to a court for an order of interim attachment.

The commission said: “That the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in the exercise of his statutory mandate contained in Section 34 of the EFCC Act, having satisfied himself that the various sums of money in the account No. 1003126654, 9013074033, 1010170969 and 1013835888 domiciled with the 2nd Respondent were made through the commission of the an economic and financial crimes, to wit: stealing and receiving gratification approached the Federal High Court Lagos Judicial Division, for an order directing the manager of the 2nd respondent to freeze the said accounts.

“That in his wisdom, Hon. Justice M.B Idris granted the 1st respondent’s application wherein an order of interim attachment was made on the aforementioned accounts. Attached and marked exhibit EFCC 09 is a certified true copy of the said order.

“ That the said order was a preservative order to prevent further dissipation of proceeds of crimes.

A gruesome scene unfolded after a convicted child molester kidnapped a 20-year-old woman and took her back to his home and assaulted her.
Reportedly, Kimberly Walton was walking home from her friends house on Sunday evening when she claims she was approached by Robert Williams, a two-time convicted felon.

Williams asked her if she wanted a ride, Walton replied “No thanks.” That’s when she said Williams drove off, but when she turned the corner he jumped out of the bushes, grabbed her and threw her in his car.
According to report, Williams took Walton to his home where he proceeded to assault her for several hours.

Williams fell asleep after drinking massive amounts of alcohol and Walton was able to untie herself. She then approached Williams, tied him up, and in a bit of rage, grabbed a knife and “castrated him.” Walt stated that he woke up screaming and yelling.

According to Williams statement, he said he was afraid to die and complied with Walton’s “morbidly disgusting request.”

“I threw that bastards junk in the microwave, grab the plate, fork and a steak knife and cut it up,” said Walton and a recorded statement. “I grabbed a gun that he had left on the kitchen counter, walked over to him, and forced him to eat it. I have no remorse and I am not sorry. That bastard deserved it and he’s going to hell.”Williams was transported to a local hospital, bandaged up, and booked into the Fayetteville County Jail.

Some are even calling her a hero. “Now we don’t have to worry about that pervert doing this to anyone else,” said Donna who lives in the neighborhood. “If we castrated every child molester, we would never have this problem.”
