You obviously don't understand the dynamics of Law... people caught up in attempted crime don't go Scot free... Attempted rape, attempted murder, attempted robbery.. Once caught must pay for it just that the punishment metted won't be as severe as it would have if the crime was actually perpetrated. For example: You came back from work and caught a thief trying to buggle your house.. Will you let him go? Answer that question honestly. We live in a country where religion and ethnicity are sensitive issues.. Now one id!ot woke up named his dog Buhari (that is still okay) went ahead to inscribe the name on the dog and was parading that on the streets in a Hausa community for that matter (What Better way to incite violence) but for the manner of approach of someone who felt offended and reported to the police that careless action would have resulted to loss of several lives and valuable properties vandalized and public peace breached. Even though the Oba is 100% correct... That alone won't solve the Nigerian problem. The leadership and our system of governance has to be completely overhauled. Uprightness and discipline must be enshrined in our in our national lifestyle beginning from leadership. Faith (what the Oba advocates) is important, Work (our collective effort to do what is right leaders and followers alike) are the two important steps to move us forward as a nation. |

Reading the responses.. So far yours has been the most reasonable... Maybe there are more.. All the Saints of God who was before Christ went to hell because they inherited the sinful nature from Adam (non can enter heaven with that nature) hence the coming of the second Adam (Jesus). Indeed no one can enter heaven without an encounter with Jesus When Jesus died he visited Hell and conquered the prince of death and hell and took away his keys and freed the Saints including Adam, Abraham and Jacob and all saints that died before Christ. (please note that Prince of death and hell isn't Satan or Lucifer as widely believed.. In fact that incident caused a brawl between Lucifer and the Prince of hell). However there are 2 people who didn't visit hell In that dispensation.. Enoch and Elijah. They went to heaven and did not die. The third person who made heaven without visiting hell was the thief by the right hand side who was crucified along with Jesus.. He asked for mercy and it was written that he took cross with him to heavens gate and that was his "visa" to enter gates of paradise.
