thats the protocol. Many Nigerians today struggle in corporate environments because most of my people truly do not understand the true meaning and function of hierarchy arrangement. We are all used to illegal Possession of power (magomago society and OBJism)! Wake up guys, Nigeria is finally heading toward the right direction! |
thats the protocol.Absolutely on point! If we want to move forward, we must also follow the rule of law. It is that simple! |
RIBADU is still an AIG and can go to ASO ROCK if he wants to, dude stop all this ballistic post about RIBADUYou're absolutely correct! Of course he can go there the same way EHINDERO was just there last night. Right? |
Who gives a shi*T ?I do! |
Must you be happpy because RIBADU is no longer welcomed in ASO ROCK?No, I'm not happy at all. I'm just excited that the real war against corruption in My country is about to begin. |
Please, don't hurt him; he's my hero!

Security agents bar Ribadu from Aso Rock THE Presidency appears to have shut its doors against the outgoing Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, with security operatives attached to the Presidential Villa denying him direct access to the seat of power. Mallam Ribadu, in his first public reaction to his removal as EFCC boss, said last night that he was ready for the nine-month course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Plateau State. However, the EFCC’s Director of Operations, Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, and other police officers attached to the commission have shunned summons by the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mike Okiro, for a meeting on the latest development in the anti-graft agency. Several attempts by Mallam Ribadu to have direct access to the President in the last few days have been rebuffed by the President’s men who insist that his requests be channelled through the Inspector-General of Police (IGP). Presidency sources told Vanguard yesterday that the thinking in the Villa was that Ribadu’s nomination for the NIPSS senior management course had been unduly politicised and was already assuming a blackmail dimension, hence the President had decided not to get involved. The President’s Special Adviser on Communications, Mr Segun Adeniyi, could not be reached to comment on the issue yesterday. Several calls to his phone lines were unsuccessful. Sources said the president who is an advocate of due process and believer in the rule of law no longer wants to entertain the issue of Mallam Ribadu being discussed with him. “Since the issue is becoming a blackmail, the president is not ready to bulge. You knowthe president, he is one man that believes in doing things according to the rule of law and since the police authorities felt that Ribadu is due for training, he has to go,” sources said. Investigation revealed that access by Mallam Ribadu to the president has been furtherrestrained with the president’s seal of approval for his course at NIPSS http://odili.net/news/source/2008/jan/4/399.html |
We are tired of the worn out rhetoric in bold. Yar Adua a honest man surrounded by dishonest peopleYou should try:Nigeria as a country is surrounded by bunch of dishonest alarmist citizens. Yes, Yar'adua is the president, but it is still up to you and I to make things happen in this country. Instead of singing old songs, we should all look at each other and ask ourselves that "what can we do to rebuild this country" We need to stop sounding like bunch of beggars and do something positive toward elevating our nation from the dust. |
Could that be IBB's angles which also leads to "invisible progress"?Iyke-D: You can't help yourself, but to throw a nasty curved ball! |
And of course the Onitsha boys club: McKren, Debosky and Iyke-D |
Magnificent Information Bravo goes Iyke-D! |
May be I need to move to London to understand your point better. Deal? |
brownbonno and Akpanbaba |
OK, go ahead and list all the completed operations of Mighty Ribadu. |
Mr. brownbonno: You're a good man; but I'm sure that you will never never understand my state of mind and why I've selected to always view things from another angle; the angles that are mentally invisible to most Nigerians. So, please try your best to always ignore my posts like many other folks, it's absolutely not by force. FYI: Nigerians are picking up their passports one by one to return back home from plantations to contribute toward rebuilding our sweet country. |
It is a total disrespect to the entire Nigerians to believe that no one else is better or can do the job better than Ribadu (a confirmed political fighting tool). It is absolutely crazy! |
Posted by fakande: I think its about time we begin to realize that no man is indispensable and also that there is always someone better for the job. Ribadu is primarily a policeman who was used by Obasanjo to set a bad precedent.HELLO! McKren, wake the fck up! |
@McKren: May God Bless Ribadu (a great man). I wish him a safe journey back to his village! |
@McKren: Nice picture! |
Keep in mind that Nigeria is not an easy country to rule; there are too many invisible obstacles that one has to tackle as the president. Trust me, Yar'Adua is a very honest man, he's sincere and has a solid integrity. He's doing his best and with time, I'm sure that it will be clear to everyone. Just don't forget that OBJ left a shitty house behind for Yar'Adua and it will take time to get things back to normal. Don't give up! |
Bravo to Ribadu. Smart move! |
Ribadu bows, agrees to go to NIPSS Embattled chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu on Thursday broke his silence on his recent redeployment to the National Institute for Policies and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, even as he agreed that government could send any public officer on training. Speaking through Osita Nwajah, EFCC’s head, Media and Publicity, Ribadu, who said he fully concurred with the Federal Government’s decision to send him on a self-improvement course of study, accused the commission’s foes of using the media to cause disaffection between him, President Umaru Yar’Adua and the leadership of the Nigeria Police. The statement reads further: “In the past few days, the EFCC, as well as its Executive Chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, have been the subject of intense media debate generated by the decision to send the EFCC Chairman on a course at the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Plateau State. “The Commission has however refused to be drawn into the public debate. “EFCC now wishes to clarify that it is the position of the Commission that government can send any public officer on training to enhance his or her performance and continued service to the nation. And, as a loyal citizen and public servant, the opinion of Ribadu is not any different from the expressed position of the Commission. “It is however worrying that the NIPSS debate has opened a window of blackmail and calumny for many of those who disagree with the Commission. This group has routinely planted stories in the media, which they make-believe as being sponsored by the Executive Chairman, in an attempt at discrediting the authorities, especially Mr. President. The stories which have explored all sorts of high wire politics scenarios and power tussle permutations are calculated at presenting the Executive Chairman as being in conflict with Mr. President and the leadership of the Nigeria Police. Nothing can be further from the truth. “Further, the Commission wishes to deal with the insinuation being peddled in certain quarters that the President is interfering in the work of the Commission. The Commission hereby puts on record that President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua has never interfered in the work of EFCC and has supported the Commission’s resolve to bring to book, all who have committed any of the crimes identified in the EFCC Establishment Act (2004) and all other laws that the Commission is mandated to enforce. “The Executive Chairman, EFCC, wishes to seize this opportunity to assure Mr. President, the leadership of the Nigeria Police and indeed, all patriotic Nigerians, of his absolute loyalty and dedication to the service of our fatherland. “It bears restating here that as a loyal public servant, Nuhu Ribadu has no problem with the decision of Mr. President on the recommendation of the Inspector General of Police, to send him on a self-improvement course of study at the NIPPS, Kuru. Any story that suggests otherwise is only meant to cast him in the bad light of an unnecessary antagonist against government and the Police high command and should be discounted. The Commission wishes to thank the general public for the tremendous support it has received in the discharge of its duties.” http://www.ngex.com/cgi-bin/frame/frameit2.plx?link="http://www.sunnewsonline.com/" |
Okiro will have hard time leading or giving instructions to this people.May be if Okiro starts to give them pounded yam and kolanut, just like EHINDERO may be they will listen to him. What do you think? |
Akpanbaba: It is clear that you do not know what you're talking about. There is nothing sadder than witnessing a lost man. Please, go somewhere! |
LETS BE SINCERE TO OURSELVES, CORRUPTION FIGHT IS A SERIOUS BUSINESS. OBASANJO STARTED IT ON A WRONG FOUNDATION AND IF WE CONTINUE ON THAT LINE WE ARE NEVER GONNA GET THERE.Absolutely on point! |
@McKren: Fact: Ribadu is 80% obstacle and 20% solution. Please, make your decision as the president? |
@McKren: To solve a problem, you've got to analyse the problem: 1.Identify all the obstacles 2.Dissolve all the obstacles 3.Identify solutions 4.Select the best solution 5.Execute the best solution 6.And evaluate the progress of the selected solution. Note A: If the selected solution is not showing any progress, then the same steps will be repeated to discover another or a better solution. In this case Ribadu and OBJ happen to fall into steps1 and 2 (it may not make sense to you or myself, but the president (the analyst) knows what he's doing). Note B: It is very important to note that, most of the time, some major obstacles also seem to look like the solutions; but one has to be bright to discover these camouflage and immediately weed them out. |
The lesson!!!!!@McKren: That is the game of politics. Some will be happy, some will be depressed while others will cry and whine forever and ever. As a selected president, you can't and will not satisfy everybody; but you must remain focused. So far, Yar'Adua is my man of the year and I'm confident that many will realize this fact with time. |
But is Duke corrupt? |
I do not know why folks are only focusing on the death penalty part. It is simple, From Oct 30 2008 onward, if you disobey the corruption law you will be put to sleep permanently in your home town. The only way and the effective way to put end to corruption in Nigeria; any other way will be simply a waste of time. Trust me! |
Not just death penalty. |
That was a joke! Yes, Calabar still one of my favorite place in Nigeria. |
