I asked before, can somebody give us names of prosecuted looters in jail presently or have finished their jail term. Mcren and Iyke-D please am waiting and don't skip the question on the premise that you know more than me.
Waiting
An excellent question Rabidu himself finds very difficult to confront.

Posted by bibiking:
people like McKren who are stoutly in support of Ribadu, have become misled into a blind argument.
They forget that we are talking about reducing corruption in the country
so eradicating corruption should take centre stage and not Ribadu

so please! if we are not a country so much in love with corrupt ways, we would have quickly set our sights back unto the big stage i.e fighting corruption!
McKren, the master of shortcuts and president of failure.
Don't waste your time, bibiking; it is more than impossible to ask a BLIND man to see the light.

Ribadu should go ahead and make McKren his third wife  kiss

Case closed!
Politics › Re: Education As A Priority by BigB11(m): 3:50pm On Jan 05, 2008
Of what use is Education as a priority if the people are not empowered to achieve what their dreams are
.

So, because of this education should be ignored?

Absolutely rubbish.
Today, Indian as a nation has nothing, but their solid education standard.
United States will hire an accountant and IT programmer from Indian at any time any day before turning to Africa; and I wonder why.

Just because opportunities are not currently available doesn't mean we should send everyone to farm to become farmers. Education remains the most important asset any nation should invest and capitalize on, regardless of the economy status.

He has not been sacked as EFCC Boss yet
You think so?

Wake up; even Ribadu understands that he buried himself and the party is over!

You guys can go ahead and call me names as usual, but the facts are out there for all to see.

I can assure you that Ribadu will never never again come close to power in this life time.

Mark it down!

So, you guys (alarmist) can feel free to cry and whine as usual; it is a done deal.
I'm confident and excited to say "Nigerians will finally witness a sincere war against corruption by real professionals (real men) who understand the constitution of Nigeria, who have respect for the citizens of Nigeria, who do not have side agenda, who understand group concept and who are truly patriotic to Nigeria as a nation.

To hell with the one man show home-based business.

Iyke-D
A typical Nigerian mind.
The short cuts you folks continue to worship is risky and a quick way to destroy a nation.
Ribadu knows his mistakes and I'm sure that he kicks himself every minute.

The end result of any selective justice is always destructive and we should thank God that Ribadu was only sent to school and nothing worst happened to him.
Only retarded and uncivilized folks will worship selective justice, the same justice that continue to divide people in united states today.

A smart man will promote doing things the right way.
For your information,
1. Selective justice is very compatible with corruption; but the dead heads are too dull to see this fact.
2. Selective justice doesn't promote democracy in any way and will only compromise the human rights of the citizens; of course the dead heads are damn to dull to see it this way.
3. Selective justice will never never solve corruption problems in Nigeria and will only empower and protect certain group of people while they continue to milk the nation as they desire. No, Iyke-D doesn't see it this way.

Are you telling me that Nigerians are not smart enough to put a fair, reliable, sincere and loyal institution together to effectively and efficiently rectify corruption in Nigeria?
What a bunch of jokers!

It's called risky bribery
Good point!

Politics › Re: Obasanjo Killed And Buried Efcc! by BigB11(op): 2:20pm On Jan 05, 2008
And guess who is talking?  A man that very knowingly worked with Chris Uba to rig and steal an election!
If Chris Uba wasn't overwhelmed by power and greed, maybe Ngige would have settled him quietly and
would have continued as governor too.

In civilized countries, Ngige will be serving 10 years or more in prison, but in Nigeria they wax poetic and
get to preach about others shortcomings.

Of course I am sure what the usual response will be: it was OBJ's fault.  Yes, OBJ took Ngigie to swear before
the Okija (sp) shrine.
@Iyke-D
so, what is your point?
You mean, it wasn't OBJ's fault?

I guess, Ngige is too dirty and has no rights to see anything against OBJ.
What a joke!
We need to get over ourselves quick and together discover a better way to move this country forward.

Here we go again.  Ngige confirmed that he visited EFCC to answer questions.  Why did IBB refuse to attend to the Oputa Panel to answer their enquiries.  The answer is simple - IBB emblezzled and looted the treasury of Nigeria.  That is the truth
.
@linuxuser:
Do you know your problem?
You don't pay attention to nothing.

Are we talking about EFCC or IBB?  What is wrong with you?

@linuxuser:
For you information, the topic says "OBJ killed and buried EFCC". So, why should Ngige be blaming EFCC?
Dude, you need to start paying attention to things; it will help you with other things.

Do not only focus on bribe, there are other illegal gifts or ways that men of power could enrich themselves. No need to sweat Ribadu or anybody to prove anything.
We know how much Ribadu supposed to make as the EFCC boss, we also knew how much he had before he took the position
More information will come out at the right time; we will all have the opportunity to know who is fooling who.

From what I know, it will be a miracle for one to be close and do dirty work for OBJ and still remain clean.
Folks, just chill out for now, I'm sure we will hear more about this shortly!
Politics › Obasanjo Killed And Buried Efcc! by BigB11(op): 4:57am On Jan 05, 2008
Obasanjo killed EFCC – Ngige

Former governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chris Ngige has blamed immediate past President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for the woes of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Speaking with reporters at Abba Town in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, Ngige noted that the concept of EFCC is good but regretted that Obasanjo converted it to a weapon for political warfare while in office.

Ngige said, “Certain things were done improperly, but you must also give it to EFCC that they have a boss and their boss is the President of the country and if you have a bad President, he will do bad and unprintable things with such an agency but if you have a good President, he will also do good things with that agency.

“I don’t think that they are totally to be blamed. They are human and they are Nigerians. All the same, it is good for people to stand their grounds and say it is not proper”.
Ngige also recalled that he has visited the EFCC twice without the commission’s invitation and was able to explain areas of doubt to them.
“I went there and came out; I went the same day and came back the same day. I went there again and came back the same day. It is good for people to be accountable while in office and after leaving office. I was treated with dignity with respect the two times I visited. And if there were questions, I did answer them well and if there were gray areas or areas of doubt in what they saw in the books in Awka, I cleared them for them”.

assuming ribadu is the best living soul, assuming he is the best thing that has happened to nigeria since inception, assuming all claims of selective justice against ribadu are all lies, is ribadu going to die as the chairman of efcc?
is it normal that police officers go for courses as was directed y the ig in the case of ribadu?
is seating tight in office a culture in nigeria even with reightious men like ribadu?
how did ribadu come into power?
what is the rationale behind ribadu's inability to probe even a single individual among all those wo served under obj at the national levels?
won't it be wise for yar adua to form his own carbinet and work with his own choosen men as was in the case of obj?
what does it course to say the truth?
where was everybody when okonjo iweala was removed from office?
to what extent has ribadu and his efcc reduced the level of corruption in nigeria since his assumption of office?
Excellent Questions!
Politics › Re: Ribadu Blackmails The FGN by BigB11(m): 10:31pm On Jan 04, 2008
Iyke-D,
No matter what happens do not get angry too much. Whether they bar Ribadu from Aso Rock or whatever
And most especially do not regret anything Ribadu did.

Even Ribadu foresaw all these, he knew Nigeria was at risk of facing such a future. Hence why he did most of what he did. Unfortunately Nigerians never looked beyond their noses and were so embroiled in anti-obj sentiments.

Whether being selective, political or releasing list of those who should not stand for election. Ribadu did most of what he did for the future of this country. He knew he needs an anti-corruption friendly President to win the battle. Hence the need to be pre-emptive.

But unfortunately Ribadu was EFCC Boss but not President. OBJ on the other hand had other thoughts. If El-Rufai was President we would not have been in all this mess.

However, I must say that I would not have wished Ribadu did his job any differently. I do not believe Ribadu has any regrets either.
You have talked, Mckren

I like when you try to sound boxy and rugged.
My man, no need to take it this hard; you should have listened to me many months ago. Even the blind, deaf and dumb saw this coming long time ago.

RIBADU IS A FOOL!
He has dined with the devil (OBJ), so let him go. We need change; we don't want selective anti-corruption campaign, we don't want witch-haunting of oppositions. We want true anti-corruption, which can only be achieved when the police is decentralized.

It's high time we forgot this Ribadu issue and face the true picture. What we should be doing now as Nigerians is to call for the appointment of another credible Nigerian to take over fom Ribadu. For me I will suggest Maj. Gen. Buhari, the former head of state ( this is another way of making him withdraw his petition against our president).  What do you guys think?
This is a great idea.
In fact, after 4 years I think another reliable person needs to be given a chance.
It is not an honorary position; it's time to move on and witness what another Nigerian is capable of doing.

Ribadu's followers should go ahead and make him the permanent king of his village; and I assure you that Nigerians will not bother him for anything.

Politics › Re: Ribadu Is No Longer Welcomed In Aso Rock (confirmed)! by BigB11(op): 9:08pm On Jan 04, 2008
The manner in which BigB posts new threads on this Ribadu issue is startling - showing his deep hatred for the man and his activities. There is so much more that can be said about him, but if you want to know more, read his posts. That is the main thrust of my post on this thread, not on the Ribadu issue itself as much.
Again, you got it wrong.

I have nothing against the man, Ribadu. In fact, I admire his courage and dedication, and I wish him well!

What I'm against is selectivity justice.
I think this is an easy way to crumble a nation into dust.
War against corruption is a wonderful thing in Nigeria, but it must be fought equally and with absolute respect for the constitution of Nigeria without compromising the human rights of the citizens.

I'm also against Ribadu being guarded my the king of corruption (OBJ) and the unprofessionalism approach they've exercised through out their defective operations.
I feel that things could be done better; but one must first accept mistakes before an adjustment could be effectively implemented. Ribadu and his followers do not see things this way

I also feel that majority of the corrupt leaders continue to successfully  use Ribadu/ OBJ as an excuse, which is clearly preventing a successful out come in many occasions. Again, Ribadu and his followers do not see things this way.

Please, do not get things twisted; my love for the man, Ribadu remains incompressible.
I mean, how can one be happy for the down fall of another man? This is not normal and absolutely not my style.

FYI: I've only posted many topics regarding Ribadu to empower my points on how war against corruption in Nigeria was a joke and to send message to the foe e.g ONITSHA BOYS CLUB.

I will never hate another man.

may the Almighty and Posterity judge you and your ilk harshly.
Absolutely unnecessary!
Not funny anymore; it is not fair and absolutely unacceptable for you to continue to tarnish my name.

I'm happy that with all your names calling, many still see my dedication and sincerity to see my Country, Nigeria fly high once again.
You need to apologize!

Ribadu spent some time with President Yar’Adua. He came with a file, apparently to brief the President on the work of his Commission.
Yes, with the consent of his boss!
