I dare Nigerians to show the source of their misleading info. Kuffuor obtained loan from Naija but I think that loan has been repaid. Apart from that loan, can anyone come up with another assistance offered to Ghana? Presently, the Nigerian govt is going broke. Paying your youth corps is posing a challenge. You can't even pay the minimum wage of N18000. Most states are obtaining loans from international organisations and govts yet you say you're rich. I know Nigeria in and out. You can't tell me that Nigerians are enjoying unless you're living in a fool's paradise. Go to the north and see Almajiris and Boko Haram, the east is full of kidnappers, the west is full of touts(opc) and the south is full of militants. Let's not talk about the level of graduate and youth unemployment. I fear the quality of their education... I once read of one corper(graduate) in the papers who couldn't speak or write in English. Electricity is zero. Health care is zero that is why their leaders don't patronise their hospitals. High infant and maternal mortality. High death rate. Oh God! The list is endless. May God and Ghana save naija.

I don't want people to just concoct their opinions and ideas and ascribe it to others. Can you show the source of your information about how and when Nigeria gave out free oil to Ghana? When did we buy oil below international oil price from Nigeria? There's this annoying misconception that Nigeria supplies Ghana with electricity. Please Nigerians, google lake Volta and Akosombo dam. Let's not let sentiments blur our reasoning. We need to be objective and not subjective. The Ghanaian people want to do things on their own. If you think you can cripple their economy, I dare you all to leave. It's time for Nigerians to prove that they 'run' Ghana... Leave us and let's see who'll cry. Imagine Naija boys leaving their country to sell pirated CDs in Ghana! Shaking my head.
BusinessRe: Ghanaian Government Closes Nigerian Businesses In Accra. by bigboyk(m): 7:50am On Jul 07, 2012
For God's sake, who says Nigeria supplies Ghana with electricity? That misconception is highly unintelligent. Please google lake Volta and the Akosombo dam. I hate unintelligent talks. The issue is, we want you to leave. You say we are poor, ugly and black, yet you can't leave our country. Ghanaian men are handsome, check out my profile pix. No wonder Naija girls can't get enough of me.

[quote author=gst101]we say ghanas education is better than naijas education. But how comes thye have not produced the likes of wole soyinka, chinua achebe, chimamanda, philip emegwali, sanusi lamido etc. Mention one ghananian intellectual that will immediately be recognised by anyone on the continent or the world. Mister, most of these guys were trained abroad. The main issue here is that Ghana wants you to leave her alone and return to your country full of intellects. By the way, if not Soyinka and SLS, who among those you mentioned lives in Nigeria?
BusinessRe: Clarification: Ghana Is Not Closing Legal Nigerian Businesses by bigboyk(m): 6:46am On Jul 07, 2012
I just don't understand Nigerians! Who are you to dictate to Ghana on how it runs its affairs? The Ghanaian law says that retail business is reserved for the locals, what's hard to understand there? For those saying Nigeria is better than Ghana, why are you then howling insults at 'poor' Ghana for trying to send Nigerians back to their 'paradise' country. This is simply a case of reaping where you did not sow. Where were Nigerian traders in the 70's and 80's when things were bad for Ghana? Back then, you were busy chasing out Ghanaians in droves and in demeaning ways and you were enjoying your oil boom. Nigerians, please learn to live in your country. Ghana is too small to contain us all. Leave us to run our 'poor' country. Punish our economy by 'leaving' our country. Nigerians are too obsessed with Ghana... Please, leave Ghana and see if we won't move on. We give you the title of 'Giant of Africa' because it seems you love titles alot. You are all conceited and have this misconception that nobody can be better than you. Egoists suffering from narcissism. My two cents.

PoliticsRe: Flash! Ghana Against Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. Nominated Prof. Jeffery Sachs!! by bigboyk(m): 6:47am On Mar 26, 2012
OAM4J: Smart? Clever? As they say, time will tell.

With that choice, Ghana has done away the benefits that it also get from the parochial 'African first' policy. Am sure Nigeria will also review its "Big brother Africa" policy especially towards Ghana and other African countries are watching too. The question is who loses more in the long run? Does America really give free lunch like the parochial 'African first' policy gives? Time will tell.
Funny dude, I tell you. When did Nigeria ever give 'free lunch' to Ghana, or do you consider Obj's loan a 'free lunch'? How does Ghana stand to lose in the long run? Which big brother policy are you yapping about. We need facts backed by references here and not speculations or sentimental opinions. Your country men in Ghana will tell you have happy and safe they are in Ghana. Wait a minute! Of recent, Ghana was complaining that Nigeria sold gas with high water content to them. And this was transported through the west Africa gas pipeline...haba Naija, una wan rust the pipeline? Na so big brother dey do? Shut your mouths up and quit talking about the imaginary big brother role you always console yourself with.
PoliticsRe: Flash! Ghana Against Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. Nominated Prof. Jeffery Sachs!! by bigboyk(m): 6:32am On Mar 26, 2012
What are these arrogant Nigerians saying? Apart from a particular loan that Obj gave to Ghana to complete the West African Gas Pipeline Project, what other aid are you guys talking about? Is giving out a loan same as giving out an aid? Where in the Nigerian budget has any of you ever seen a provision for aid to other African countries. Nigeria, as big and arrogant as it is still gets aid and loans from other countries. Nigerians, what big brother role are you playing in Africa? Solve your own problems and let others be. I challenge any Nigerian that is bragging to show when and how Nigeria assisted Ghana apart from that $40 million loan which I believe Ghana has repaid. Why should you guys hate on us just because we are becoming a model for sub saharan countries? Keep on hating while we keep on growing...your hatred motivates us. Like I said before, I know Nigeria like no other country...bunch of arrogant and boastful set of people.
PoliticsRe: Flash! Ghana Against Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. Nominated Prof. Jeffery Sachs!! by bigboyk(m): 10:09pm On Mar 25, 2012
No point arguing with you Nigerians. I know Nigeria so much. NOI is highly unpopular in Naija yet they want to sell her to the world. Ever wondered why she left the Obj govt? The average Nigerian is really suffering. Your minimum wage is so low for a country that prides its self as a giant. Your govt can't even pay the N18,000 minimum wage. I know Naija so much because I once lived there. Fellow Ghanaians, don't believe Nigerians when they say they are enjoying...it's all crap. About 70% of Naija people live on less than a dollar per day. Most Nigerians want to leave the hell pit called Naija. Nigerians, admit the truth, you guys are suffering. You are among the leading producers of oil, yet you buy the oil at high prices. You can't even boast of a functional refinery. You claim that Ghana is a small country, is Nigeria not bigger than most European countries? Is China, Saudi, USA not bigger than you? Why are they developed. Please quit bringing size into this discussion. Nigerians, please respect yourselves and mind your business...I know Naija in and out...una dey suffer, be honest and admit it.

@Bandit C: How can Ekiti state university be better than the least university in Ghana? Go and google the top universities in Africa. We are not talking about attitudes but development. Or do you want me to start talking about the behaviour of Nigerians abroad? Don't make me expose you.
PoliticsRe: Flash! Ghana Against Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. Nominated Prof. Jeffery Sachs!! by bigboyk(m): 6:58pm On Mar 25, 2012
Nigerians are highly sentimental and egocentric. Keep on comparing Ghana to Lagos. I believe you guys are using generators to power your computers and phones before coming here to bark at us...I wouldn't even blame you guys because too gen fumes could sometimes distort reasoning and cause aggressive behaviours. You boast of billionaires while we boast of qualitative education(our universities are congested because of you guys. Your universities are reknown for producing quacks + incessant strikes by ASUU), we have a middle class in our society (we don't have a wide gap between the rich and the poor), your country men are alarmingly migrating to our country to start up businesses (even after we over taxed them and made it clear we don't need them). Why not run your companies in your country? Oh! I forgot, most of your industries are moribund (Textile, steel, etc). You claim to be rich yet most of your folks are very poor (leading to kidnapping, militancy and boko haram). Your politicans are still promising you pipe borne water and electricity at this modern age. The northern part of your country is something pathetic...high illiteracy rate, almajiris and under development. I won't even talk about your police men and your military men who always bully innocent people. Make your country liveable and stop being angry at others who are trying hard to move on. By the way, why is it that Nigerians don't like staying in their 'rich' country? Boko haram fire you all. *Singing: Ghana my sweet country. Jealousy wants to kill our haters...*

Oh my Ghana! When will Nigerians let us be? We now can't make our own choice and decisions as a sovereign state? They say we are jealous, yet they always talk about us. Please, think of how to move Naija forward while we do the same for Ghana. We won't vote for NOI and we stand on that decision. Nigerians have this crazy mentality of imposing themselves on others (as evident in PDP convention, PDP guber and presidential primaries, etc). We Ghanaians believe in the principles and ideals of democracy. Away with your sentimental rantings. angryOh my Ghana! When will Nigerians let us be?
