The crisis rocking Effium, Ebonyi State has resulted to the death of over 40 persons and many others injured.

Speaking with our correspondent, an eyewitness said the Chairman and House of assembly member in the community are at loggerheads over who controls a packing garage.


According to him, "over 40 people have been killed since last night, homes destroyed, many stranded and left homeless."

As at the time of filing this, efforts by IGBERE TV to speak with the Ebonyi police command proved abortive.

Una doh. I'm not Yoruba but I was born and raised in Yoruba land. Imagine if indigenes come to attack me and my family because we are prospering in their land. Does that even make sense? Same goes for some of these Fulani people who were raised in Yoruba land. The ones committing havoc are just a small fraction of Fulani people because all the ones I know and grew up with are peaceful people who mind their business.

So, I have been the reading the back and forth argument amongst Ondo state govt, FG, Yorubas and some groups from Northern Nigeria.

Me wondering why Aketi, a SAN can't approach a court of law to obtain court order in order to evict the Fulani herdsmen who have decided to make Ondo forest their home even when they are not wild animals.

The Fulani herdsmen should also approach court and fight their case. Sebi Ondo forest na their ancestral land....

Enough of social media argument...

Btw, we learned some things aftermath acclaimed Lekki Massacre even though some of us saw the clearly written handiwork of some people before hand same as this current Ondo situation...
