They've started trying to sabotage the exercise even before it gains traction.

When it happened, IG was sent and policemen were dispatched to affected areas.

The people huffed and puffed, saying what is needed is the army and police aren't trained for that level of combat.

The cries have been heeded and accordingly, the army has been engaged, and the same folks have started peddling lies to frustrate to exercise.

Ortom is the one orchestrating all these media attacks as he knows puting an end to this crisis is probably nailing his 2019 ambition. He has absolutely nothing to go by except "pretending to love the people more than he does his bank account".

All state owned tertiary institutions (with the exception of BSU) just declared indefinite strike over the intolerable suffering as a result of nonpayment of salaries and the fool is there chasing shadows.

Even BSU has been shut down over last week's protest, with the fool asking students who protested the authorities disallowing them to sit for exams over nonpayment of school fees, to go sought their fees over two weeks. Benue workforce is predominantly civil servants. You don't pay salaries yet you want students to pay fees. Where does he want them to raise the monies- prostitution and selling of kidneys?

When folks who know nothing about what goes on in Benue open their mouths and speak here, all I do is giggle. Worst off they are the same people that insulted the life out of the useless governor just last year. He's become their hero overnight because he now seems opposed to Buhari.
Mr. Fulani advocate, first things first.
stop the killings first before we start to talk about the governors misgovernance

if price of crude oil reduce in international market, they will start to tell us the disadvantages of the low price, the govt will use it as an excuse to increase the price of petroleum products here and also an excuse for non performance, telling us that they are not earning enough dollars for subsidy payment so price of goods and services must increase. We endured. And silently starts praying for crude oil price to go up internationally so that there wouldn't be any excuse again.

But nay, how wrong we were because

As soon as the price of crude oil goes up again in the international market, another barrages of excuse are manufactured to keep us perpetually poor. But why is our government wicked

they will start to tell us again the disadvantages of the international price increment. they will start to tell us about how high they are buying it internationally and subsidizing for us, they will start to tell us about landing cost, custom duties, import duties, bad weather, force majeure etc , and all kinds of jargons and supported by other very selfish Nigerians and or some other mostly ignorant folks in molue buses, news paper stands, ogogoro joints, draft and ludo joints, who are even the direct hits of this VOODOO economics style by the govt . The wicked government always scale through either bc of selfishness or ignorance of Nigerians which is pervasive. Surprisingly, its even the very poor in the society that cooks up reasons for the govt. A poor man in keke napep will make up excuses for the govt why the road they are riding on has not been tarred , why there should be suffering, why there are uncompleted roads and projects, why prices should go up, why prices of fuel should be increased. Their most common foolish excuse being that "The governor or president can not be everywhere", Then u try to raise the issue of devolution of power, the same people will attack u and oppose it. 'But why are we like this' ......

meaning that if price of crude goes up ,it will not favor us.
again, if the price goes down, it will still not favor us
eitherway, the govt has a sweet story and excuse to tell us just to keep us in perpetual suffer.

our govt is SHAMELESS
just imagine what the minister is telling us after N145 sacrifice
This recurring decimal will continue if we don't stop tribalism and religious inclination to take back the country

WorldRichest:
I did NYSC in Anambra in 2002. During voters registration, in Oba in Idemili South LGA, the locals brought babies as old as 3 months for voters registration. They said that voters registration is what government will use to share money to States so they need to have as many people as possible registered. I refused to register any under age. They threatened me, but I told them the President (Obasanjo) is from my State and if they try anything, solders will wipe out their villages and town. Other Corp members complied with the locals and registered many babies and children. One day, while registration was still going on the wife of the Igwe (Lolo) called me and told me that the locals reported that I was not co-operating with them and that I may be harmed, I told her point blank that if I was harmed, then their village will ceased to exist. She advised that I should stop going to the registration centre and that my allowance would still be paid. I replied her that instead, she should tell her people to take their under aged to other Corp members for registration while I register 18 years and above and that I will not stop going to the registration centre. She told her people and they just did as I advised; meaning that they continued taking babies and children to other Corp members for registration.

I havent typed this to malign Anambrarians rather I have narrated my experience to let you all know that it is not only in the North that children vote but also in the South too because several of my friends that served in Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Kwara, Ekiti, Enugu, Imo, Rivrs and Akwa-Ibom too told me similar stories of under aged voters registration. However, the practice may be more in the North than in the South afterall everything is more in the North including poverty and disease.
why are u saying this now? just to douse this underage voting that happened in kano, abi. I don't believe u. I have never heard this before, this kind of desperation is not in the south
btw , they just finished election in Anambra state, a well covered election. why didn't we see a glimpse of it

I shake my head. U are just using brain or let me say level of understanding to give baseless opinions. U talked abt d garments of d choristers and other factions like Cherubim. All d garments u mentioned are only worn to church or denominational events. Hijab is an islamic head-dress dat is meant to be put on by Muslim females everywhere as ordered by Almighty Allah in d holy Quran, meanwhile d holy prophet also taught our ladies to always put on hijab while going out or when in d midst of pple who are not ur parents and siblings.

Putting on hijab is written boldly in d holy Quran. Where in d Bible are christians commanded to wear chorister gowns, white garment or any other self acclaimed garments? Bible did not teach a specific mode of dressings. So stop exerting unneccessary hatred on d use of hijab which God ordered females to put on.

#Algebra
if its a commandment in the holy quran for all occasions even though it doesn't befit that occasion; then there are some professions that u need to avoid for ur women. I also understand that women are not allowed to be judges and lawyers in the holy quran; why do u now choose to violate that and obey only hijab wearing, if not for hypocricy. instead of ur women to be grateful to the liberal law that has liberated them, they are coming to dictate the mode of dressing for a secular and liberal law that has given them opportunity to flourish
btw, the bible commanded deeper life members to tie head scarf always, it commanded celestial and cherubim not to put on shoes

I know, like alws, u will beat about the bush and turn around in circles and at the end u will not be able to site any law.
u only asked me "who set the non hijab wearing law" and I told u that people of the law profession came together irrespective of religion to set a standard dress code for themselves without regard to any particular religion. and u know that hijab is ur religious wear.
if hijab is allowed do u also subscribe that others should wear their own religious wears? like Christians been allowed to wear their choristers gown and turtle neck and turtle hand wears for deeper life brethren and white clothings for celestial and cherubim worshipers while traditionalist should come with their cowries laden clothes and beads. if bc of religious freedom all these are allowed in the law profession. how will the place look like.

Ok.

For the record, I am not a lawyer and I have no legal training whatsoever. But from the little I have seen and read about the controversy, I think MURIC and its supporters are likely to prevail in the end.

In the end, Firdaus and her supporters are likely to continue piling on the pressure until something gives. Run through this thread and others and you will understand what I am talking about.

If a "political" solution is not found soon, Firdaus will aim to prove in court that her rights have been abridged. The ruling on this is anyone's guess.

Muslims will never speak or campaign against religious persecution faced by Christians in the Core Northern states and parts of the World where Muslim dominate everything like Iran Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Egypt but will CRY SHOUT SPIT and Start foaming In the mouth anytime things don't go their own way in Free societies (usually with Christian origin).

They keep shouting they are peaceful yet 99% of hate crimes due to religious beliefs are done by Muslims all over the world. The professor is already saying that some people may start disrupting dinners. Who are the upcoming disrupters if not Islamic fanatics? They claim to be peaceful yet resort to violence when you don't dance to their tune, then will blame you saying you caused it, that why didn't you listen and agree with them in the first instance?.

HYPOCRISY AND VIOLENCE REMAINS THE MOTTO AND SLOGAN OF ISLAM. Mark it
one funny thing about this their disruption plans is that if it goes wrong and spirals out of control and turns MURIC to the first terrorist organization in the south. u will now see some of them on nairaland start telling u that MURIC is not a true muslim organization
that those that did it are not true muslims. and start showing u passages in their holy book that supports peace
